Mr. Epps is just another example of the increasing ghetto mentality of the young people in Atlanta. It also doesn’t help the local newspaper is certainly doing its part in the glorification of this lifestyle by updating its readers daily on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” or some other rapper’s life rather than reporting on news. Two weeks ago when the GDP had increased for the first in a year – the AJC had a story about TI as its top story.
I’m off my soap box now!

Harald: Probably not, but you can bet he's going to itemize his expenses!

What kills me is that the owner of that house was willing to let him throw the party there. Apparently he never got the 'memo' that when your house is in pre-foreclosure and you are about to no longer own it, it is still in your best interest to do what you can to make it marketable because the closer the bank gets to market value when it is sold, the less they will expect you to keep paying on a house you no longer own. A thousand college kids trashing a house 'Hip Hop Halloween' style is NOT going to help that marketability!

@Shane

 It looks like he is one of these "short sale" scam artists...you are right...a real dirt bag. These types always end up going down for tax evasion though...speaking of which I wonder if he is going to claim the 20k on his return this year ;)

What I'd love to know is: How is it that despite the fact that he inconvenienced hundreds, maybe THOUSANDS of people, he is only being charged with a misdemeanor. He made over $20,000 at this party - and every penny of it was made illegally. Sandy Springs should seize that money and distribute it to all the people who had to put up with this crap going on in their backyard.

Anthony Epps is on Facebook. You can view his profile by clicking here:

His favorite 'quotation' is, "You'll always lose money chasing women, but you'll never lose women chasing money!" Looks like a real 'classy' dirtbag to me.

This summer in Malibu CA a VP of Wells Fargo real estate division, squatted in a multi million dollar costal mansion owned by the bank and the huge parties she held with yachts dropping folks on the beach and lots of traffic pissed off the neighbors who busted her. Neighborhood watch is a good thing.
