What's with the people cutting through the Dunwoody Place business park because there is a no left turn sign on in the mornings and afternoons at Dunwoody Place Drive and Hightower. These maniacs rush through the parking lot like they're Indy drivers to catch the light coming out of the complex onto Hightower. This is a major hazard for people trying to walk across the lot to our offices. And trying to turn into or out of a parking space.

I have noticed more and more expired license plates tags since the economy has tanked. I know these folks do not carry insurance as no company will insure an unregistered car. I know you team in Blue are busy with all the other crazies out there, but what can be done to get these vehicles off the road? What can citizens do to help out? I know it will be my luck to get hit by one these nuts and I will be stuck buying myself another car, like I could afford a car payment these days.

Thanks and keep up the good work - I am proud to live in Sandy Springs since the new force is active!

I wondered if that empty house on Dalrymple was the one where that hookah Cherry Wood and her friend have been using.

So, I called my friend Vernon, and we got in my white van and went over there to check it out. Well, we get there, and she cops an attitude and the other hookah Morgan says don't lay your Hammond me. But then she goes to mount Vernon, who had overstocked his sharpie, and Morgan falls in surprise. We took her to Northside hospital, then I said that I had to leave and go get some cash from the ATM before going home to my apartment. Vernon said fine, drop me off at my BMW, and I'll come back here, because I want to hook up with this hookah before it's time to get the wife.

Poor ol Vernon, he needed a break like that, he had been recently jumped at the ATM, and they took his cash. I wondered how he was going to pay for the girl. Well I must have got some of his bad luck, because I got jumped at the apartment complex when I got home. They poked me in the eye and took my wallet. I think they got my license and credit card. I tried to get in my apartment through the window, then realized I was at the wrong building. I needed a drink or some smoke by this point, so I thought maybe I could trade some tools I found for some stuff at the liquor store or the head shop. That didn't go so well.

As for Vernon, well he found out at the hospital that Morgan had the DPs, so he dropped her off at the library on the way home from Northside. She must have been ticked because she found out he didn't have any money anyway, so she kicked his tail light as he left. Hee hee, I bet he was pretty frustrated. Vernon picked up his wife and kids from the movies, then said he was going get something to eat and try and catch some of the game. I thought that was funny, because I remembered he didn't have any money.

So the hookah bandit was caught eh? He must've gotten excited and pressed his face up to the liquir store window when he noticed his favorite twinkies and beer were on sale. God I love cameras! No more beer, twinkies or green tobacco for him for a while.

Oh speaking of ingesting mind altering substances... Can someone tell me what someone was thinking when they came up with the name "Dalrymple" for a street? Sounds like something out of Willy Wonka. If I were I betting man I'd wager the patrol and communications officers hate saying that over the radio. :)

I cannot figure out how to email you but I have a question regarding something I saw on the road today. I was driving in East Cobb on Roswell Road near the East Piedmont Publix. A car whose make, model and license plate I have but will not share online was next to me when I noticed something that has left me in quite a state. A child who I would place at about 2 was riding in the drivers lap. An infant carrier was noticeable in the back seat. So I have a few questions. Do they love one child more since one is safe and buckled and the other in the most dangerous seat? Also, how do I handle this? Do I call 911 or do I suck it up and wait to get home and file a traffic complaint? As a social work major I simply CANNOT just let it go.
