This is effing ridiculius. Uga can never beat a good team. Honey Bo Bo child needs to go coach jr college or something. He freaking sucks. How is it that no adjustments were made in th blocking scheme for clowny? I have been a big Mark Richt fan for som time now but its time for a change. We cant keep doing this. We are a historic SEC program and we havent played for a NCAA title since 1980?….GA Tech has a more recent championship than us…..Its hard being a Bulldog fan.

#14 and #12. Season’s not over. Go LSU this weekend. Get past Kentucky (Between horse races) and pump up that tire on I-95 in Jacksonville after USCjr has two losses before we get there.
15 and 3 over last 18 games is not mediocrity. Of those three losses, we were beat by the only team to go undefeated last year during the regular season and the #3 team in the latest polls. Michigan State last season this was a bowl game that was lost when a senior, once All-American kicker who is now on his way to being a Pro Bowler (Blair Walsh is 3rd in the NFL in scoring) missed two field goals.
Neither Florida nor LSU has ever had a perfect season. Not quitting on this season. Just wanted a true fan post amongst all this crap being spewed. Maybe we aren’t destined to win the national championship. Maybe we are destined to simply be damned good. There is a long list of season’s where Georgia has fallen short before CMR got here. We have only been perfect three times. Even Alabama has only been perfect 9 times out of 120 years.
Dry your eyes true fans. Don’t quit on team coaches or season.

Dr Adams goal in his tenure was to improve the academic standing of the University. The Harrick fiasco fueled that a few years ago. In his mind, he had a very good man in Richt who meant well in all areas of life for these student athletes and could win 8-10 games a year and go to a bowl every year. Adams was VERY content. Pulling out all the stops to win at any cost ( See LSU,Bama,Fla,AU) was not in HIS game plan. Running Richt off was NEVER an option for him, and if he wasn’t retiring, would still be the case. And trust me, if Richt were to be fired, It would be HIM doing it. He fired Donnan because HE was doing things that put football first. Adams is NOT a football first guy…….That’s the story at UGA. Adams could care less ( privately ) about crystal footballs.

Question, does 10-2 and a Jan 1 bowl get a guy fired. Don’t think so. Read last night that someone said gotta wait till the schedule includes a LSU and Bama beat down to go with a SC and Fla loss in the same year to move the needle.

I am disappointed and depressed about the game. We were manhandled by a much better team. But I’m not going to jump off a bridge or egg anyone’s house about it. It’s football. USC was jacked up on cloud nine and playing in their home stadium. Everything they did worked. We lost and it was just one game. We are probably ranked right where we need to be. USC could very well run the table. LSU isn’t as good as them and Florida seems to be their only threat until Bama in Atlanta. We live to fight another day. Our O line isn’t as good as we need when we play defenses like Caroline (or Florida). Will we lose to Florida? Based on what I saw last Saturday, that’s a pretty safe bet. But teams improve and get hot. The season’s not over. GO DAWGS!!

I’m a Georgia alum and fan. I’m pulling for us to win all the rest of the games. I’m also pulling for South Carolina – have to give credit to Spurrier – like to see them win out and beat BAMA.
We don’t deserve to even think of the SEC Championship game. That’s part of the problem. Richt’s responses to the game are terrible/lame. What would Nick Saban have said?
It is time for wholesale changes. Hope we can get a top tier coach.

Amazed at the amount of morons here. Tressel? Who the hell would want Tressel in Athens? Gruden would not last 4 yrs. Give S.C. some credit, they were well prepared and MORE talented on defense. We will Beat Florida. Ken Malcome gave a great effort and deserves more credit and time.

@Mark, that’s dead on. People need to give USC credit….they are a dang good team and better than UGA. Maybe not 28 points better, but that’s just the way it shakes out. Their defense was much better then we have faced and their O line is better. They just are. People cite all the top 10 recruiting classes and bottom line is that some of those recruits pan out and some don’t. It’s not an exact science. Once you win big, you don’t recruit players…..you select them. Murray didn’t play well and the line didn’t block well enough for Gurshall to run. I hate it and turned the TV off at the end of the third quarter because it was putting me in a bad mood. But the sun rose on Sunday and the week came again on Monday. I’ll miss not watching the UGA this weekend, but will pick it up again in two weeks. GO DAWGS!!!

While South Carolina is certainly due credit for performing well vs Georgia, the battle for the SEC
East is FAR from over. We made South Carolina look a LOT better than they are, and South
Carolina has a long and distinguished history of choking down the stretch. Zero SEC titles. Zero
tradition. Those things aren’t going to change over the course of one season. Spurrier can crow all
he wants about “They can’t say they own us anymore”, but the numbers in that series (a 30-game
lead for Georgia) speak volumes about the caliber of the two programs. South Carolina will not stay
as high as they are, and Georgia will not stay as low. This was one game……only ONE game.
Last year’s game was gift-wrapped for them, so I place little credence in that “3 straight” business
for the first time in recorded history. Are the Gamecocks better than they were ? Sure. But they’re
still the Gamecocks. I’ll be a believer when they beat LSU and Florida on the road, and then
FINALLY win ONE SEC championship, and not until. Georgia has some serious problems to solve,
no doubt. Let’s get to work and solve them and quit underachieving.

Big Wally—Do not post any more moronic names and continue show your ignorance. Folks CMR will be here through 2020 and break Vince”s all time win record.
Dawgs probably have the biggest fair weather fan base in country. Geez lose one game this season and :fire the coaches: pops up
Dawgs win out , SC will lose 2 count on it. Carolina has reached their peak and will start decline back into oblivion.
Bama can continue to brag for awhile and thump their chest, but their time is coming also. Can’t wait for a little revenge on Red, Brown, Black, and 75, and 77 and the rest of them.

And speaking of Dooley……He left the cupboard full at LaTech…..and will do the same for the next guy at Tenn. If I’m Tenn, I let him finish his contract for two years and see what happens……although if he loses Bray and those wideouts for next year, he’s toast.

@Lakedawg (s), I don’t think that USC is going to lose until they play Florida and then it’s a toss up. Shaw is underrated, they have Latimore and their defense is just plain lights out. They can run and move the ball in the fourth quater (which we cannot do) at will. Anyone know of any real weaknesses? I don’t see anything standing out. They are built for at least an SEC East championship run. UGA has some standouts, but the game is won and lost in the trenches. That’s our glaring weakness and it’s really glaring. We’ll need to find a way around it to win any games against teams like Florida. USC’s defense is going to do what they did to us to a LOT of teams.

Lakedawg with the big D, I was the original Lakedawg on here.
I just haven’t posted in a long time. I really feel for Murray,
coming home to that vandalism and the news about his dad.
He’d probably have done much better if we had enough
offensive line depth to not have to play two freshmen.
That’s part of what I expressed to Dr. McGarity in an
e-mail. It starts with the OL in the SEC, and we’d
better learn that.

I don’t think USC will lose to LSU, by any stretch of the imagination. LSU has a good defense, but no offense. USC has a good offense and a GREAT defense. Florida is the only team in the east that can go toe to toe with USC, but I think USC’s offense is better than Florida’s offense. I would feel guilty about getting to the SECC game through a back door, because I think we are the third best team in the east at the moment….but I’d take it.

I am still a Ga fan. I was disgusted with the play of our team and the fact that we were so demonstratively out-coached. But,I am still a Georgia Fan!! That is why it truly disturbs me that someone egged and rolled Murray’s house? Is this really going to help our team!! It truly shows how classless a few ga fans can be. We got beat, and beat badly. Please don’t let the rest of the world know how ludicrous and classless Georgia’s fans can be. Murray alone did not loose the game. Why would some idiotic moran want to do this??? To make matters worse Aaron’s father is ill. Classless, classless, classless!!!!!!

I’ve been told that Richt called for mostly runs most of second half and very little down field passing to protect Murray. We couldn’t keep them off him and if we set up to pass the whole second half, they were going to tee off on him and kill him. It makes sense.

I agree, Spurrier is a better coach (or rather, offensive mind) than Richt, but there’s only a few coaches in the nation that would be on the same level as Spurrier and Saban is one of them. Saban just has had more talent. What I don’t get is people just responding to a loss with “Find someone else!”. Who else is there? Successful coaches at smaller schools look like mere mortals when they get to the bigs. If they are successful in the bigs, why would they want to leave that position (Unless it’s for a bigger payday at a bigger school)? Chesick (sp?) was proclaimed as a great coach for getting Auburn a Natl. Champ in only two seasons….until Cam Newton went pro. Now look at him. It’s like a job, don’t go firing a coach until you have someone better…..truly better, in mind. Problem is, for every coach you hire, there are thousands of fans screaming about how he was the wrong choice.

Hopefully you heard bill king this morning slam Richt for his incompetence
Like King said had Spurier, Saban, Meyer etc had this years UGA team they would easily play for the NC
He also said Richt continues to squander the talent that very few teams in the FBS have he is nothing more than a 9-10 win coach thats it

This was the most significant loss in the last seven years, even worse than the 45-42 fiasco. The Dogs have not beaten a team of equal strength in years and I don’t know where the program will go. This is discouraging, and to those nitwits that egged and rolled Murray’s home, grow up. Your disappointment should not lead to such immature acts.

Mark this down ….SCAR WILL LOSE TO LSU this weekend
why? they spent everything they had emotionally to win that game vs UGA…you cannot stay “up” like that and they will face a desperate LSU team
also, don’t forget in SCAR’s 2 road games vs Kentucky and Vandy they had to come from behind and win and get help to beat Vandy – that is the sign of a less talented team- they have to have the home crowd to perform

I agree….GEORGIA’S players are far superior across the board to SCAR’s
SCAR will lose to LSU, beat FLA, and have a let down vs UT
But UGA does not need SCAR to lose twice….just once and UGA win out – then the tie breaker will be the highest ranked BCS team…..
UGA will already be back at #10 in the coaches poll after sitting and watching those ahead of them fall this weekend…then be back around #7 or #8 when they play Florida
