Chip’s at the beach. Mark Richt is at the bank. The players are off.

The fans are wondering why Mr. Richt isn’t in the unemployment lines.

Show of hands time. Who thinks Georgia will beat Florida (not can beat, but will beat)? Not me.

Who thinks South Carolina will beat Florida? Me.

Richt and company fall flat in every big game they play. Not prepared to play. Need new coaches desperately, somebody with some fire in their belly, namely the head coach.

We’re all disappointed UGA was not even competitive vs. USC, but we need to keep it in perspective. SC just exposed Georgia’s biggest weakness which is the offensive line and blocking of the freshmen backs. If the O line had played equal to the rest of the team the outcome would have at least been close if not a win.

There is no “going forward”. The season is over. Does anyone in the athletic department have Jim Tressel’s phone number?

The UGA Athletic Department just announced that the official mascot has been changed from a ‘Bulldog’ to a ‘Hen’ because of all of the eggs that the team has been laying over the past couple of years.

Its a good thing we schedule 10 games a year that are almost sure wins

If we didnt

I wouldnt be able to wear my 10 Win National Title T-shirt every year

I’m pretty sure if we only scheduled 10 games a year, 8 wins is the best we could do and that would be a good year, to many fans

I’m still so angry about the offensive game plan… Absolutely no excuse for not double teaming Clowney and Devin Taylor the whole game… Why do we even recruit Tight Ends anymore… Why do we have a full back? If I am Lynch and Rome and Merritt Hall I’m thinking I could have helped protect my QB. I could’ve blocked for my Running Backs. I’m thinking I could’ve chipped the DE and released and caught the linebackers being too aggressive…I’m wondering why the heck I sat on the sidelines for all but one possession watching Kenarious Gates getting beat time after time.

I’m not knocking the Georgia tackles… Nobody’s tackles can block those two ends one on one. I thought the coaches had made the adjustment on the last possession before halftime… Hall and Lynch in the game and we moved the ball… Then we get down to the 2 yd line and run 4 plays from the shotgun spread… No TE and no FB in the game.?

If we ever want to be like bama, we gotta get into the right formations. We have to go back to a ball control offense… We have to run power formations… This is SEC football. Don’t you want your biggest athletes on offense (Rome / Lynch / Hall / Samuel (FB) against a physically gifted defense?

I have supported Richt and Bobo through adversity, but I’m tired of watching my team start every possession from the shotgun spread… It would be one thing if Murray was a dual threat QB, but he’s not… I’m ready for a change of leadership and philosophy. We were Tailback U… Our Tight Ends used to get big yards down the middle of the field… We used to play SEC power football.

Is the Big 12 taking applications?

Dawg Tired of it…

The numbers dont lie, we have not gotten it done aganist teams of equal talent, CMR has to get rid of boo boo can someone look up our numbers when CMR was doing the gameplanning to when he decided to give boo boo the o cordinator job after Neil Callaway who was our o cord. And line coach before leaving for UAB?

@outer banks Dawg,
My concern about the offense was Clowney’s comment that he got a jump on the snap count on EVERY play because the OL gave it away. I sure as hell hope we figure this one out!!!

The same people want Richt gone that did so years ago. A lot of the same people who think loyalty to an inept coach is loyalty to their school have now ingested years of kool-aid. Everything remains the same, nothing ever changes. I hate making money off sure bets against my alumni but its the only way to make lemonade out of Richt/Bobo lemons.

At this point, if Richt starts Murray against Florida, Richt is throwing the season away intentionally, and ok with finishing 10-2.

Murray will not win, we know that, he’s 0-10 vs teams that finish in the top 25.

So it will be interesting to see if Richt really even cares about winning that game.

If Hutson Mason doesn’t start, Richt’s mailing it in.

Our biggest weakness is not the offensive line. A much bigger weakness is a coaching staff that does not understand the importance of an offensive line above all else and before all else.

Seriously, can we hire a proven OC and DC? Can we bring back the 4-3 D? The 3-4 sucks….CTG looked freakin lost during the game. Half the time the D isnt set and ready before the play. JJ has been neutralized.

Outer Banks Dawg – I am equally puzzled. What is the official response to observations like yours?
Why doesn’t that demonstrate incompetence at this level? If there’s an argument, I’d like to hear it.

Are they so unprepared and inept as to have no plan B when Plan A is not working? How long does it take them to figure it out when Plan A is not working?

It’s a good thing you guys locked down Grantham this off season with a fat raise. I suppose shutting down Kentucky and Ole Miss is the test of champions.

Hey you dumb coaches, how about lining up a tight end beside me every now and then to help with Clowney. I couldn’t block sunlight.

I tried to tell you guys all off season not to get too hopeful about your awesome coordinator that averaged 39 pts to ranked teams

But you just wanted to blame it on the offense.

Then, you thought you had an awesome offense.

Gruden is not coaching for a reason and Smart has no integrity. Why would you want either of them?

…Umm maybe because Smart has learned from the best college football coach in the modern era. He has been on his staff for several years. Coached teams that have been on National Championships. Knows first hand what it takes to be champion and have a team prepared every Saturday. Little things like that.

Jim Tressel, screw that !!!! Flat tire needs to get inflated !!! The key to coaching is adapting. The Ole ball coach can adapt. I’m not sure if ours can. The O-line just could not block. We should have had somebody permantly assigned to help the left tackle ie; fullback, tightend. You know, I don’t know exactly what we practice, but our tackles do practice pass protection…right ? They have played for years. Funny how South Carolina has no problem blocking our guys. We can’t even blitz properly. Fat guys don’t really rush the passer..do they? How about oin third and long have specialized pass rushers, ie guys who fast on their feet!

Yep Georgia football has problems, that’s obvious, no line play to speak of on either side of the ball………….but what is more glaring than Xs and Os is the pathetic fan base………………I went to Georgia, love and support Georgia, but at least I can point out my frustration without the uncivilized, knuckle dragging, childish behavior I have witnessed over the past couple days……………….Aaron Murray’s father has cancer………….give it a rest, you’ve beaten him enough already…………I’m praying for a more decent fan base………….not more wins……………..God Bless……………RED
