Georgia’s next football game – Oct. 20 at Kentucky – has been scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff, the SEC said today.
Television plans for the game won’t be set until after Saturday’s games. It will be on one of three networks: ESPN2, ESPNU or FSN.
It’ll be the fifth UGA game this season to be played at night.
CBS is holding off until after this week’s action before selecting the SEC game for its 3:30 p.m. telecast on Oct. 20. Still under consideration: South Carolina at Florida, Alabama at Tennessee and LSU at Texas A&M. ESPN will televise the two of those games not chosen by CBS, one at noon and the other at night.
Kentucky (1-5, 0-3 SEC) plays at Arkansas on Saturday. Georgia (5-1, 3-1) is off this week.

embarrassed,
By going to game you are not supporting Coach Richt. When you go to a game you are supporting the “G” and the players. If you want to email or call the AD and voice your oppinion and displeasure with Coach Richt you have every right to do so.I think Richt don’t ned to be making tv commercials and needs to just worry about coaching football.I have been a season ticket holder for the last 17 years in sec 118.

embarassed, all I can tell you is I was disappointed, but not embarrassed about the game. I wore a Georgia fleece as I coached my 8 year old’s baseball game Sunday. I was proud to do so. I have tried to remain nice, but since you don’t see, to get it, I will point out that you should be more embarrassed than “embarassed,” since your screen name spelled incorrectly. While you may truly bleed red and black, I hope you didn’t actually attend the University. That would be a little embarrassing, don’t you think.

Alabama Dawg, you are a true idiot. First of all, that commercial was likely filmed months ago, but even if it was filmed during the week last week, who cares. It’s called “fun” and you, and several others on this board should learn to have some fun. It would make your life less miserable rolling in the sorry of a college football game outcome. I love the Dawgs, and I hate when they lose, but again, it’s about perspective.
Take this story to heart for some perspective: I was at the game Saturday, and of course disappointed from the get-go and not saying much as I was surrounded by Gamecock fans, including my gracious hosts for the game. There was a young lady (late twenties) behind me that was continually, in a kind-hearted and good spirited way, telling me it would be okay and asking if I wanted her towel to wipe my tears or become a Gamecock fan, etc….she was just having some fun, like fans should. Later in the game when this lady had stepped away from her seat for a moment, her husband leaned down to me to tell me “thanks for being a good sport and talking with his wife and ‘cutting up with her’ about the game.” He said she was having the most fun she’d had in months. Turns out she has terminal cancer and a couple of months to live. Heartbreaking.
So, moral of the story…get some perspective in your life. It’s a football game. You can’t win them all, and shouldn’t expect to. If you won them all, what fun is the journey? Once you understand this your life will be much more enjoyable, I promise.

You are the true idiot,I never said I expect to win every game. But you know I do expect to win every game thats why you pla them and thats why you keep score. But I do expect to see the Dawgs play there best in big games and we have not played very good in big games in recent years you idiot.I support the Dawgs every week.I live in Alabama and catch hell from Alabama fans about Saban stilling our recruits. With that said my post were to the guy who calls himself embarrassed and was trying to explain to him by going to games your not supporting Richt but you are supporting UGA by going to the games.I have never booed the team or said Richt should be fired.I by my tickets every year and support UGA.I take my kids to the games and we support UGA.I was at the OutBack Bowl to suport UGA.Yes we lost in overtime but we had a goodtime.I don’t no when the commercial was filmed and I don’t care.

Richt is a great man but not a great coach. It is time to find a new leader for the UGA program. 1 – 9 against top ten teams in the last four years is not acceptable for a program with UGA’s talent. The bigger problem is that we were not even competitive in the majority of those games. I will continue to support the Dawgs and could be persuaded to keep Richt with a FL victory and a convincing bowl win. The only problem is Georgia has done nothing lately to make me believe this is possible.

I am answering this. Why do you look for something to be racist? Thugs, punks, whatever word you insert is more a take on where we are as a society than the color of the player. I think it has a lot more to do with this me first generation, where you have a player like Cam Newton ( I know he is black, but he’s a great example) pounding his chest after a huge TD to get his team within 3 scores late in the game. Thug, punk, you make the choice

Real life is rough and our Dawgs are a great distraction, especially when they win and play well. It’s not always going to work out the way you want it, and your happiness and self worth shouldn’t depend on it. Have a good week and hopefully my trip to Lexington will include a win for the red and black. My family will enjoy the trip either way.

I think most of us are true DAWG fans and want to see UGA win every week whether it is realistic or not. I have incorrectly picked UGA to win the NC every year since 1981. I will pick them again to win it next year. In reality, all I really want ot see is my beloved Bulldawgs show up and play up to their abilities each and every week. Again, sometimes, even that is a strech. The proble i see right now, is when we the team improve. I am not giving up on them, but I would like to see improvement. Last year they lost to the 4 best teams they played. So far, they have lost to the best team they played. FL is the only scheduled team that can match up, so if they lose that, the trend continues. UGA still shows signs of greatness, but it is only for a half (LSU last year) here or a game there (Vandy this year- but they are an inferior team). I am sick of UGA being the bully of the SEC. They are great for beating up the weak and the NERDS, but run scared from the big boys. It’s time to stand up and fight!!!

I am not embarrassed… I am disappointed. I saw a team that looked flat. I do not care what Coach Richt said. We looked flat and unprepared. The first quarter the defense was looking at each other wondering who should be where. I have noticed more than once this year we have problems lining up and players missing assignments that are simple. It is like their head is somewhere else. I hope we get it straightened out. If Rambo would have held on the interception maybe the game would have been different, but if Aunt Mary had a beard she would might have been Uncle Bob. Bobo’s play calling is too predictable. You can look at the way the line lines up, the shifts and see what kind of play is being called. Mike has done a good job this year but saturday we reverted to old habits. Everyone has a bad day and unfortunately every Dawg had a bad day at the same time. The coaches need to dig deep and look at themselves as well as each player and make some adjustments. Mark Beard needs to play. Rotate and let the man play. Move Gates to guard. Let Burnette play some center and give Andrews a break from time to time. I could go on and on but I will refrain from being a armchair qb. We are half way done and now depend on Fla and SC stubbing their toe for us to get Atlanta. A lot can happen over the next few weeks. Who knows?
I am not giving up and for those of you who say you are not to going to a game you are only hurting yourself. As a player when you look up in those stands you expect to see your mom, dad, girlfriend, little sister, etc., but you also expect to see UGA fans that bleed red and black and are there to support you and support our great university. It matters to the players when they look up in those stands and see us supporting them. A true DAWG shows up win or lose. Coach Russell once said you can lead, follow or get the hell out of the way. Pouting and pointing fingers is for losers. Winners learn from their mistakes and you can learn a lot from a loss. You all can make your choice but I will be there because once a DAWG always a DAWG.
Go Dawgs!!!!

I would like to give the University of South Carolina all the credit in the world for always getting up to play the dawgs, year after year they have no problem getting ready to play us.
The fan support and crowd noise in Columbia is always incredible. We the fans of Dawg nation should strive to be as supportive as the fan base at South Carolina, their football program in no way can compare to the rich football tradition of The University Of Georgia and yet when we seem to struggle there are those so called fans of Dawg Nation that wont to start throwing coaches and players under the bus. We are better than that and there is no one more dissapointed than the UGA coaching staff and players. I would like to publicly thank those that cleaned up the mess that was made at Aaron Murray and Christian Robinsons rental house after the game Saturday night and I would also like to ask for everyone to pray for Aaron’s Dad as he begins his Cancer Treatment.

I guess if Richt was 10-1 against my school I waould want him fired too.
Hate that UGA lost Sat but in every game someones got to lose and CMR has won 111 games in 11 and 1/2 years and has a winning record against every SEC team except Florida. He has 2 or 3 times the number of wins against Florida than Goff and Donnan put together.

Most football fans have heard this quote from Bill Parcells: “You are what your record says you are.” Well the UGA record says that they are a bully and can only beat up on the weak teams, and will lay a big fat turd on national TV when someone punches them in the nose. And just like a bully when you hit them they will lay down and cry like a little girl. I for one will no longer be an enabler to such a disgusting, uninspired, unprepared effort. All of you so called “die hard” fans who claim that your team needs you now more then ever, well this rag tag bunch is all yours. But I for one will no longer buy their cheap overpriced crappy merchandise, or spend good money on gas, food, and tickets to watch such a patehic performance. As long as there is 92,000 in the stands on Saturday nothing will change.

I’ve always been a Dawg fan and I always will. Am I upset over Saturday’s loss? You bet I am.
But I’m more embarrassed by the egging and rolling of players’ apartments, asking for coaches to be fired and other unacceptable behavior. If you want to act that way, go support another team … or become a fan of college football.
Now is the time to maintain our commitment to the team, and let Murray know that we are praying for his father and family. Thirteen years ago I lost my only son to leukemia. The only thing that kept my heart and soul together was the love and support from friends, family and folks I never knew until my son became ill.
I love winning football games more than anyone I know. There comes a time, however, when games don’t matter and supporting folks when facing their worst time of their lives.
Being a fan is one thing. Being a human being is much more important!

I’m from New Jersey, currently living in Texas after 7 years in Atlanta, and fly the Georgia flag from my house proudly. The loss was terrible, there is no other way to look at the lack of energy at kickoff, the tail between the legs after a the first 8 minutes and the outcome…but…I love the program. I was at Mizzou, was in Athens for Tennessee and will be in Lexington this Saturday. My goal is someday to retire in GA and enjoy every home game. It does my heart a world of good seeing other staunch fans supporting, not hating. I pray for Aaron Murray’s family, Jarvis Jones health and for being a DAWG by the grace of God!

@I’m done-
Glad your done. I do think that UGA plays the bully. I said it myself, but that doesn’t mean I will give up on them. They need a spark and if this coaching staff can’t give it to them, then they need to go, but they get a chance to right the ship. FL is the key to the season. Win that game (assuming no silly slip up) and they show improvement over last year and the ability to coach the team up during the year. Lose to FL and there are more questions that need answering
