Great effort by the Dawgs, this has to be one of the most complete games that I have seen our Dawgs play in about 5 years. The best thing, they never took their foot off the gas, the whole game. Go Dawgs and GATA!

I have to give credit where credit is due. Coach Bobo is doing a helluva job with the offense and play calling. No counter draws on 3rd and 9. Love the reverses with Mitchell and Wooten. Have actually thrown screens to the backs just need a little work on the execution. So proud of the Dawgs and how they fired on all cylinders last night. As another poster said they did not take their foot off the gas either. Gurley is a very special back. So nice to actually break some runs. Columbia will be tough, but I think the Dawgs will have plenty of motivation from letting it slip away last year and the turnovers. Go Dawgs, Hunker Down!!!

Surprising how much better this OL is then last seasons but could be the RB’s have something to do w/that. In either case, the running game is heads above last years. The schedule gets tougher next Sat as TN comes to town. They’re somewhat better then Vandy and maybe MO so w/each game it’ll get tougher until the big test when they go to SC. Theat will be the biggest challenge of the season. They have a good offense and a darned good defense. Good speciaL TEAMS as well. First things first. take care of TN and win big. GO DAWGS.

Actually dawg4life, we did take our foot off the gas in the 4th quarter, but only when the outcome was clearly decided. I have to admit, I like the classiness of CMR not running up the score and embarassing other teams. However… the unfortunate truth is that scores against overmatched teams CAN impact your ranking in the current system we have. Sadly, if we want to truly be in the Top 5 and have a shot at the NC, we need to score and score often. Don’t get me wrong, I’m satisfied with the offense, Bobo, etc… we just need every point we can get for the rankings.

Word out of Knoxville is the Haslam’s (Vols Big Money) sent their private jet a to pick up Petrino last week. Reminds me of Bobby Lauder’s antics at Auburn. This came from a really good source and it ain’t rumor mill crap. Dooley is done in Knoxville the Orange Turds will do anything to win and that includes hiring coaches with the morals of a billy goat! Thank God for coach Richt! Goooo Dawgs!

Indeed this game was the most complete in several years, however, someone better sit down with the young man with the “golden toe” and tell him to just LET ‘ER RIP…….or we will be in trouble. The problem seems to be “butterflies”………………….and the best way to get rid of “butterflies” is to…………….LET ‘ER RIP………………..and…………..GATA………….GO DOGS

It looked like a well oiled juggernaut. Good game for Bobo and Granthan. The line play was greatly improved. If that keeps up, this team is going to difficult for anyone to handle.

Vanderbilt has lost to Northwestern who is 4-0 on the year, to South Carolina 17 to 13 , the sixth rated team in the nation and us, rated five. We dominated a very good Vanderbilt team . Good job to all the players and coaches. Richt , Bobo and Grantham called a great game.

Uh oh… The O line is starting to gel. The freshman running backs are what we thought they would be and more. Jarvis Jones cant be stopped. Tree and Rambo are going to be back. Everyone is pretty healthy. The special teams are improving. Nobody is bashing Bobo. Murray has been flawless but on one pass the past 2 games. If we get by TN and SC… We can start talking about seriously running the table… GO DAWGS!!!

Its rare for me to say, but good job on the play calling Bobo. I am really excited about this team this year. This team can be very scary in the late part of the season. First lets take care of the vols. Florida showed us how to nuetralize Bray. Have a deep safety over the top and that will eliminate the deep poat routes. I think Grantham will release the blizt package and confuse slim brady. Once again good gob dawgs. I see why now we went and got a screnth and condition coach. It shows in the fourth quarter.

Nice win Dawgs. I was talking to other Dawg fans after this game and one said “come on guys, this is just Vandy”. He was right, but I would throw in one caveat. Too often in recent years we have allowed inferior teams to hang around and we played down to our competiton. Yes, we should win against Vandy but it’s also important to look at how we won. That’s what I am getting excited about. We are dominating the teams that we should dominate. Now, for the real test, let’s see what we do against the next three. I think this team has the juice to win them decisively.
The key to beating TN will be on the lines. If our pass rush is effective and the OIine can open holes like they did this past weekend, we will win by at least 2 TDs. I think we downplay too much the fact that we havent had Rambo and Ogletree in these games. Many of the players said that Ogletree is the best athelete on the team. Rambo is a ball-hawking safety that lays the wood. Having him back will alow Commings to go back to Corner and gives us better size against Hunter. If we can get through these next three games Dawg fans we have the chance to do something special this year.

Dawg4Life…..as you know, next game is in Athens, not Columbia, don’t forget about them, they will be tough….but we will be tougher….best wishes to all of us and the team and organization….looking like a special year….oh and zbulldawg, I saw that name combo somewhere else….please don’t promote that, it just doesn’t sound good….I can tell you’re no song writer or poet….nice try though….if it had a cool sound, then the silliness of the last name combination might be overlooked, but a silly name that doesn’t even sound good doesn’t do justice as a description of those special, talented young men….Go Dogs…let’s take it all the way to the house!

And if you are trying to rhyme the combo name with another special UGA back, I don’t think that does them justice either….they are here and now and very special on their own

The question is, can we come out in the rest of our games with the focus and intensity we brought Saturday night?
I hope so. I think anyone would agree that we have more talent on our starting 22 than anybody on our schedule remaining. So no excuses.
Keep up the good gameplans and adjustments, Richt and Co.
Go Dawgs!
