COLUMBIA, MO. – Georgia will be without Alec Ogletree and Bacarri Rambo when the Bulldogs play Missouri on Saturday at Faurot Field.
Ogletree and Rambo were not among the 70 UGA players that traveled to Holiday Inn Executive Center on Friday night. Neither Ogletree, the starting “Mo” linebacker, nor Rambo, an All-American free safety, played in last week’s opener against Buffalo either. Georgia has never confirmed that the players are suspended, but Rambo’s high school coach said in March both would be out four games for a second violation of UGA’s marijuana-use policy.
Sanders Commings, a starting cornerback, and starting outside linebacker Chase Vasser are also out for the game. They were suspended for two games due to off-season arrests, which the Bulldogs have acknowledged. Georgia considers Ogletree and Rambo’s situations internal.
So the Bulldogs will be without four defensive starters as they face Missouri’s high-powered spread offense Saturday night at Faurot Field. Cornerback Malcolm Mitchell, who moved from offense to replace Commings at boundary corner, appears to be ready to play Saturday. He missed last week’s game with an ankle injury but was able to practice this week.
Right tackle John Theus (ankle) also made the trip and appears ready to play. He had to leave the Buffalo game in the fourth quarter and was unable to practice until Wednesday. However, his backup Watts Dantzler was unable to travel due to a high-ankle sprain.

I think UGA loses this game.. Mizzou offense is to strong for UGA’s undisciplined bunch, and now an undisciplined bunch without their best defensive players.
If UGA were to have their entire defense I would feel differently, and this has nothing to do with talent cause even without these starting defenders UGA is still more talented, but it has everything to do with coaching and what I feel is a staff that relies on athleticism rather than strategy and discipline.

I am glad to see that discipline and character building is more important to Coach Richt than winning. I still believe Georgia will prevail against a very good Missouri team. Character and discipline will carry a team further than win at all cost and throw out all discipline. These young men will be better for it for the rest of their lives. I am glad that Georgia has a coach that will stick to his guns on following team rules for all players even the “stars”.

I kind of saw this coming, but this is a huge loss for our defense. But you’ve got to give Mark Richt some credit for suspending Commings two games when he knew at the time we would be playing a tough game. A lot of coaches would have given him one due to the opponent we were playing. A guy named Spurrier comes to mind.

If UGa is going to have such a severe (4 game) penalty for a 2d offense, they should just say 2 strikes and you are gone. This type thing just distracts the team and gives them an excuse for losing. That said, what kind of idiot drug tests a kid after spring break, unless they want him to fail?

If it is going to take a miracle for us to win, then we do not deserve to be in the SEC East conversation. These are big players that are out, however great teams overcome adversity. Georgia is going to lose this game…flat out. The contrast between Georgia and Alabama last weekend was instructive. Georgia was flat-footed and lacked poise against a third world team. Alabama looked in mid season form against a much tougher opponent with the kind of dicipline and poise one expects from a Saban coached team. Georgia is close or right there with Alabama talent wise but isn’t in the same league at the head coach and offensive coach level.

I understand the need to have rules and set guidelines but when were talking about college kids, they smoke weed, they have fun… The only difference is that they are put under the spotlight and given random drug tests. A 1 game suspension is enough punishment because not only only are you punishing them but the entire team. Off field actions could have been taken against the boys not a 4 game suspension….. UGA still pulls out the win in late 4th quarter 31-28

Richt can not instill discipline in his players and it has been a problem for a long time. Suspensions to start every season. Remember they led the SEC in penalties for several years, a sign of lack of discipline.
I fully expect Missouri’s offense to light up Ga’s defense. Ga may have a chance if Murray does not implode. I am eagerly looking forward to another lackluster, under-performing Richt coached football team – no, not really.

You guys saying Georgia will lose do realize that Missouri could be without two of their starting offensive linemen for this game. Ruth is definitely out and Meiners is questionable, but I don’t think he’s going to play based on what I have read. They also lost a top backup in Chapell. So, Georgia could lose but their defensive line should get serious push against a weakened offensive line for the Tigers.

As long as Coach Bobo’s calling the plays, we can’t assume a victory, UNLESS he’s finally learned not to be so predictable in certain game situations, and unless he’s learned that it takes 4 quarters of aggressive offense to beat a good team………… But, I fear that we’ll get a 10-14 point lead and go into our Bobo “play not to lose” offensive mindlessness….. GO DAWGS!

I don’t see a reason to have confidence. Dawgs have lost to Mich State, Colorado, Boise, and Ok St. in away games. Bill King nailed it a couple of weeks ago…we have NO KILLER INSTINCT. Our team was looking at the clock with 6 mins left in the first half against Buffalo. They were done playing and wanted the half to end. In the meantime….mighty Buffalo scored TWICE. They get a lead, and then stop playing football only to let the other team back in the game. I’m fed up…and expect it to continue tomorrow night.

Smart???, you got to be kidding. Do You really believe that the story would have gone away had the fail drug test been announced and the suspensions confirmed back int the spring? Or would the affected player, and thier replacement been even MORE asked about it. If the goal is to isolate the players, and limit the information, this was as good as it could have been.
Think about it….has anybody asked Richt one time this week about the actual football part of this? the negative affects of this? or who was under pressure as replacments them? Or how this affected those (suspended) players and team going forward?
Or has it all been about the ” information policy”? Which would you prefer he talked about?

This is a strange story to say the least. I think Richt said the other day, that if a player made the trip, then he would play.
My take on this, but I could be wrong is that McGarity left it up to Richt to lift the suspensions. Richt might have told or hinted to Commings that he will play, but he wasn’t supposed to spill the beans. McGarity stepped in and said that his suspension was still in place because Richt hasn’t formerly lifted the suspension. I think that he will play, but he won’t start.
Nothing to base this on, just an assumption.

ESPN reported two years ago about the disparity in drug policy among the SEC teams. Vandy and UGA have the STRICTEST policies. For example, at Bama, the first drug offense is handled internally with no suspensions; at Ole Miss, it takes 3 drug test failures before we even know about it. At UGA and Vandy, 1st offense is a 1 game suspension while 2nd offense is 4 games; third offense you are GONE. NOT so at Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, etc. So, for all you “fans” of other schools, YOU are the problem because YOU dog our players while you don’t even hear about your players from your favorite teams.

It’s definitely not the coaches fault. These players are very aware of the consequences, bu they choose to do it anyways. These are the guys that are supposed to be setting the example. It hurts the team when they put themselves in this position. Richt has to be tired of this, and if he kicked Crowell off the team, then he is not playing around anymore with these guys; no matter how talented they are. They can be replaced.

Suspensions or no suspensions, Missouri is starting a walk on and a true freshman on the O-line. Jarvis Jones and Big John Jenkins will have a field day. Can’t throw the ball lying on your back. Franklin better pray he makes it to the half, much less has a chance to secure a win. Hope he has good health insurance. Who’s their back up QB?
Missouri thinks their glorified 70,000 seat high school stadium is going to be intimidating? Granted, it’s larger than the “joke by Coke” that the North Ave. Trade School calls home, but it’s not very threatening when you’ve played in Neyland or even in the other Columbia.
Missouri’s trendy offense gets grounded and Dawgs win by 3 TD’s.

Character and discipline are great, but how silly is it that we expect one team to play with a more strict set of rule? Shouldn’t the SEC have the same rules for all teams in the conference, GA suspends their players after the first infraction, where others do not until the third infraction. By the third time at UGA, the player is kicked off of the team. I am not saying that the players should not be punished, I am just saying that all the teams should have to play by the same rules.

This team was so good last season that they played North Carolina in their bowl game. Their quarterback is good, but he was going up against a lot of average to under-average defenses in the Big 12. He’s not Tebow and Missouri is good, but far from great. On top of that, their offensive line has been some ravaged with injuries that they have hardly had time to practice with the same combination of players until recently.

Got to love those fans who will make excuses for players of their team. If a college professor comes in and tells everyone; On Monday we are going give you a test and you need to score a passing grade in order to play in the upcoming football game. Then on Monday a star athlete shows up, has not studied and prepared themselves for the test and decided that staying out all weekend and having a party was more important, and he fails the test. The school says okay, you did not understand these test are required to be eligible, therefore we are going to test you at any time to make sure you are studying and if you fail any of those test You will not play for a certain number of games. The dumb selfish athlete thinks they are bluffing that they need him and fails a test he knew was coming. Now THAT is just Stupid and SELFISH.
Stop making excuses about the UGA policy and what others do, the point is they KNEW their actions would cause them to miss game and they knew they were going to get tested and STILL failed.
These two knuckleheads put themselves before their team and they both see money and the NFL and this time next year will not even be part of the UGA program and they know it, they are just too dumb to realize their actions now will more than likely cause their draft stock to drop.

UGA has known, including the players, that these guys would not be playing and for how many games. So they are prepared to play without the. Obviously the guys taking their spots are not as good and it hurts depth, etc. Defense is the strength of the team so this hurts. Is the game still winnable? Absolutely. Will it be difficult? Most likely playing on the road but it can be done. Bt scoring points, getting turnovers and winning the time of possession battle. And UGA still has a STRONG DL and Jarvis Jones and Malcolm Mitchell. Big play guys. If UGA had all the starters on D, Missouri would have little chance of hanging but now they do and UGA has to rise up, run the clock and make some big plays. AND PUT A RUSH ON THAT QB FROM BOTH SIDES AND THE MIDDLE.
WE CAN DO THIS. WE MUST DO THIS. WE WILL DO THIS. SPEED AND SKILL WILL BEAT THEIR SCHEME…EVEN WITHOUT 4 STARTERS ON DEFENSE AND BEING ON THE ROAD. THIS GAME IS HUGE FOR THE UGA PLAYERS AND THE UGA PLAYERS ARE BETTER THAN MISSOURI’S AND THEY ARE FOCUED AND MOTIVATED AND UGA HAS GREAT LEADERS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL. This shouldn’t hurt alot the bunch that is going will be fine they always have a slow first game, they are usually better the 2nd week in USC and I had rather be playing this bunch than USC any day. Oh it is very funny that in the comments Mizzou all of a sudden went from bums in most of them and changed to a really good team.

UGA fans jumped my arse for saying mizzou was a midpack Big 12 team after they finished MIDPACK. Seems to me that UGA has SEC royalty to uphold and beat them like a drum as the Big 12 teams did…….maybe a 30 pt game would be good.

Blue: It is good that he sticks with the rules and he accepts the consequences. It is bad that he has to do it over and over and over again. Is there not any way that he can convey to his team what they are putting at risk with this kind of behavior? Can anyone imagine Saban putting up with this kind of ongoing football team culture? This could be a big year for the puppies. But now they go to Mizzou in a weakened state. And just how do you thing Mizzou wants to win its first SEC game, at home, against a highly ranked Georgia team? Let’s just assume they want to do that a whole lot. Georgia came back last year after Boise State, but this could be an SEC loss right out of the blocks. Someone needs to change the culture on that team because the coach is not up to that task.

I guess if the 8 on defense would have not returned and had decided to go Pro then Georgia would have 50 points scored against them every game. Yes we are losing 4 players of defense but Cummings is just okay, we can replace him with someone as good. Vasser can also be replaced. He is good but he doesn’t make or break us. That leaves Rambo and Ogletree. Rambo is a great safety but Mitchell was one of the best safeties in Georgia and if he is over his injury he will do okay. Maybe Ogletree is a great MO Linebacker but we have two or three that were great High school Linebackers. , who will fill in just fine.
The point is thing could have been a lot different if none of the Defensive back’s had come back for another year. The difference is our Offense will get over 400 yards . If Murray doesn’t turn the ball over Georgia wins 31-21.
Is it true that Missouri has 3 Offensive linemen starters who will miss the game or be limited?
There is a reason why Missouri is ranked between 35 and 40TH.

Also , Richt needs to play Josh Harvey- Clemons. He will help us a lot and could make the difference we are looking for in this game. He is still learning the plays but his raw talent is so good Georgia needs to get him in the game and play him a lot. He will be a starter within 5 or 6 games.

I hope The BullDawg Nation know that not only are we not going to have Rambo and Ogletree next year about 8 more will go Pro from the defense. I guess we will either be playing a lot if Freshmen or we will be giving up 50 points a game, the way everybody is preaching doom and gloom.
The point is we will have a lot of play makers next year on defense after 10 of this year defense go Pro. We won’t be as good on Defense next year but we won’t fall off as much as you think we will. All we are going to miss this game is Cummings, Rambo and Ogletree. We may not have 2 really good ready replacements for each of them but the player just under them is pretty darn good.
If Gurley and the other Tailback do their job and if Murray passes for 250 to 300 yards that I expect without turning the ball over Georgia will win by 10 to 17 points. We may not get a shut out but Missouri won’t be scoring over 20 points either. We will play them just like we play Georgia Tech every year.

well now, you have to also have time for mission, church, public showings, spending time trying to figure out who is playing because of lack of discipline on behalf of UGA—so after you do all of this you come up with ———————————————————————————–an average football team and nothing more. Alabama on the other hand is spending much much more time preparing to play football. I think I can say that after they made Michigan look like a AA school. And that bit about having a quarterback that cannot run—that takes up time too——well, stand in the pocket and either fumble when you get hit or run backwards don’t throw the ball out of bounds for Gods sake. Never Mind. Why can’t Rick find a quarterback from the state of Georgia. I am pretty sure the stats say that the Championship game has never been won by a quarterback that is not from the state of Georgia———–you have to wonder sometimes what those people in Athens are thinking about don’t you. Or better yet just say——————-it is what it is———-and move on.

@GATA: Serious question: If Mizz is as good as advertised, why are they unranked? Seems like they would crack the top 25 based on qb alone
They are unreanked (but still among the teams getting a handful of votes in the polls), because their record last season was sub-par, because they lost some talent to graduation, and because of the silly mantra that any team that wasn’t in the SEC last season can’t be competitive in the SEC this season.
When you say “as good as advertised”, I’m not sure what ads you might be talking about. All of the pundits at CBSsports, for example, have picked GA to win — not a single one picked a Mizzou upset victory (although one or two elsewhere have foreseen an “undercat” win).
The thing is, if this is an outright mismatch, as many ‘Dawgs fans insist, then why is the spread now less than a field goal? And the betting odds, though favoring GA, are not so disproportionate as to make for any sure bets. So, never mind the fickle and rather meaningless popularity polls.
Suffice to say that the ‘Dawgs are plenty good enough to defeat Mizzou. And Mizzou is plenty good enough to defeat the ‘Dawgs. It’ll depend on how well they’ve prepared and how well they play. Big plays, big mistakes — that’s how games turn. And that’s why we have to play the games to see what happens.
I’m hoping for a well-coached, well-played, and well-officiated game that becomes an instant classic!
And I hope the hometown rowdies in Columbia, MO, will not embarrass their state and their school by disrespectful treatment of the visiting team and their fans. Win or lose, may our hot football blood be tempered by courtesy and dignity!

What should have been a UGA statement win early could turn out to be a loss. Not because of the three players not traveling, but because of a continuing problem with leadership and accountability. UGA has no depth on defense because of poor choices on the character of athlete we recruit and mistakes on recruiting needs. Our defense has yet to stop any team in a meaningful game under grantham and Missouri will put up big numbers.
Big question on offense: is A Murray any good or just average — bad outing by Murray will force richt to play other qb’s immediately.

Second, for all you idiots out there bashing the players for smoking weed, you are fools who don’t know what you are talking about. Weed is beneficial. It is non adictive, doesn’t cause cancer (if you say it does, explain to me why they give it to cancer patients), and it helps with stress, pain, people with eating disorders, and frankly, it helps me get through the day in general without snapping on some idiot. It is practically a cure for PTSD, and not one test has ever really proven it was adictive, in fact the opposite is true. It is almost impossible to become physically adicted to this substance. So, why don’t we just legalize it? It’s much better than a common cigarette, and much safer than alcohol.

Rambo’s HS coach really tied Richt’s hands. Had the reason not gotten out Richt could have handled as he saw fit and not been so coy with the media. Now if he doesn’t abide by school policy he looks like a win at all costs coach like Rich-Rod. For all we know Rambo and ‘Tree have tested clean since since whenever they last got caught with weed and they might qualify for reinstatement in Richt’s judgment. Congrats Rambo’s HS coach — you got your 15 minutes of fame.
The same guys that played last week will be fine provided the intensity is light years better than last week – no one can take plays off today. Gonna have to run sideline to sideline against this offense.

ARdawg, not one day has weed ever caused any physical harm to anyone, I can assure you. If I didn’t use it on a daily, I can assure you as well that I wouldn’t be able to FUNCTION in society! Do you know what its like to sit there and freak out when a damn car backfires? Every time you go to a damn store you are worried about wether or not you are going to have a damn flashback and freak out in the middle of the grocery isle? It is miserable and weed makes it better! These kids are amped up ALL DAY with school and practice, and it is hard to come back down. Maybe they are using it to help them relax for a bit. I don’t see a problem with that. It doesn’t give them any type of advantage, it simply mellows them out.
As for breaking the law, I can promise you that the govt does it on the daily. They are crooked dumb asses. You think half of congress isn’t smoking? You are out of your mind. It’s just more beneficial for their pockets to make sure it stays illegal. It takes 30 days plus to get weed out of your system. It takes 3 days for cocain, heroine, meth and lsd to get out of your system. The drug test policy can’t catch people doing major drugs, because it isn’t designed to do so. You know how many people in the USMC are addicted to coke because they can get away with it? I know a ton of people who snort lines on the weekends and are clean by monday. It is stupid.

Not wrong. He failed numerous drug test before he was suspended for that one game.
Georgia’s policy calls for a 10-percent of the season (one game in football) suspension for the first offense and a 30-percent of the season (four games in football) suspension for a second positive. At all but two other schools in the SEC (Kentucky and Mississippi State), a player who tests positive the first time does not miss a game. At Alabama and LSU, the two programs that faced off for the national title last year, a second positive test forces a suspension of at most two games. At Florida, a second positive for marijuana results in a one-game suspension. (To see a conference-by-conference list of athletic department drug policies, check out the one compiled by CBSSports.com’s Brett McMurphy in November.) By dinging players for one game on the first positive and four on the second, Georgia’s substance-abuse policy hurts the program in two ways:

Every year this program has to deal with suspensions that ultimately cost them any real chance of winning the SEC, and always puts them in a situation where they have to count on someone beating Florida or South Carolina in order to win evem the East. I don’t disagree with anything you said, except these kids “needing it” being amped up all day. In the same logic they could “need” 3 valiums after practice. Would that be okay? Classes and football practice isn’t combat guy. (Thank you for your service btw) but, it’s illegal to use it recreational in the State of GA. There is no defense for them, they don’t “need” it in the same way a PTSD vet or a cancer patient might. It’s not the same thing or an excuse to break the rules/law when they clearly know the penalty.
There’s no defense for these kids smoking weed. They danced, now they man up and pay the fiddler

No, valium is extremely addictive. And so are most sleeping pills, and for the record, it is illegal for me to smoke too in GA even though many of us do suffer from PTSD. It is a load of crap for it to be illegal anyway. If I don’t smoke, I guarantee you that I will go to the store and beat someone’s butt because they do something to irritate me. I still have to keep it behind closed doors though. It isn’t fair for us who do suffer from cancer, stress, eating disorders, PTSD, etc… to be unable to use a substance which is EXTREMELY benificial to us and our needs simply because our country is stupid.

I think this game is too important not to have every eligible starter on the field. The exposure for UGA and Mizzou is huge. Reputations are on the line here. Mizzou fans are saying this SEC opener eclipses anything to date in their entire existence, and that includes beating at the time 1 ranked Oklahoma in 2010. Water under the bridge now, but who says the suspension games have to be in any particular order, especially for Ogletree and Rambo which I think are internal suspensions. Just my two cents, I’m betting Mizzou doesn’t have a suspended starter on the sidelines for this one. Hope we can pull this off!

And once again, a Mark Richt-led team has all kinds of disciplinary problems that may well cost them this game. Not to beat the same dead horse year after year, but this all starts–and ends–with the head coach, and his coaching staff. As a life long UGA fan shouldn’t Richt be held accountable for the fact that we have 4 STARTERS out? Biggest season for us and the biggest game and we are without 4 playmakers against an offense where they matter most. Every year it is like this, we don’t have our players stumble out of the gate and then come on strong later in the season. Yes other teams have a player out here or there but we seem to shoot oursevles in the foot every season with this. If we lose tonight, I hope the fans blame Richt for the fact we weren’t prepared. Yes they are college kids and he isn’t their daddy but maybe he should get a consultant to help him keep our players out of trouble.

How stupid is it that we have the toughest drug policy in the SEC if not the country? If you think these college kids wont drink and toke a weed some then you are living in fantasy land. Weed cases should be held internally and not have players suspended for games. Cocaine and hard drugs totally different situation.
Its great CMR wants to make players better men and im all for it but we pay him 3 million a year to win football games and championships- PERIOD!! This goody-to-shoes crap has got to stop. Who in their right mind drug test players right when they get back from spring break? we are absolutely our worse enemy. Can not wait to Michael Adams gets his ass out of Athens and if CMR dosent win BIG this year then take his ass on out of town to. The pressure on him and the UGA football program will be intense and ugly if they lose this game tonight with all these suspensions. UGA fans are tired of losing big games and being looked upon as paper tigers which is what we have become the last few years. I don’t see MO winning, lets remember their “explosive” offense scored 34 against a far less talented defense than GA’s, even with the four missing. Now that being said ball security and not going plumb retarded on special teams are the keys. Lastly before someone who is ill informed posts MO scored 62 points not 34, two of those were defensive and two were on punt returns, hence the the keys to the game.

They said that the only reason UGA was even ranked was because of their defense and with 4 out then there is no reason to think that they will win. They said that we couldnt depend on a freshman running back and murray had no line to protect him.

Where are all the haters that said CMR would play these guys to save his own arse? CMR may never win the MNC and this may be his last year. But if he leaves he will leave with his integrity intact because he didn’t excuse the behavior of some of his best players to win a game. Personally, I wouldn’t suspend any player for an SEC game for drug offenses until the conference comes up with a uniform policy. I would only sit out players for non-conference games until the playing field is level. Do you people honestly believe that UGA is the only team in the conference that has guys who smoke pot? At some SEC schools you wouldn’t even know a player has failed one test until they have already failed two! Haters are gonna hate, but CMR is doing what he thinks is the best thing to do considering the policy they have @ UGA.

Every year we have injuries, suspensions, etc. that figure in to our chances of winning big. Every team experiences this, we just have to adapt and overcome a little more with the drug policy. The policy should go one way or the other, make it stricter as in first offense 5 games, or make it like Florida’s. Make these guys think a little harder rather than eating that brownie or taking that hit. I give Richt some credit for holding to his word on these suspensions. Mizzou is a very good football team worthy of a Top 20 ranking and it’s a home game. This will be a very tight and exciting game and I think it’ll be more offensive than many SEC loyalists think. 31-27 Mizzou is my prediction.
Mizzou is also without Henry Josey all year so all teams deal with this stuff and we’ve heard for the last 9 months about SEC depth at Defense so let’s see it. Richt’s seat will be more hot after tonight, but atleast he and Dawgnation has a good excuse lined up.

GF Jacket or anyone else thinking GA wins this game huge…..must be smoking the pot everyone is talking about in this thread. Did you not watch either team in Week1? I can guarantee you that Mizzou is no Buffalo, Franklin will smoke you (no pun intended) if your DEF has no discipline and overpursues. Your DEF can not hang with 4 GREAT WR’s …3 of which are over 6′ 4″. Which team looked more like a SEC team in Week 1? Nuff said.
To those that think Mizzou opened up the playbook to score 62…..you didn’t see the game obviously. 2 TD’s from DEF and 2 TD’s from Punt Returns. They barely broke a sweat and that’s why Franklins stats are so low. Mizzou scored multiple times in every phase of the game.
Mizzou win this one tonight 31-24…..34-27……something around there.

JD – In the following post you showed your lack of knowledge about Mizzou Football.
“If it is going to take a miracle for us to win, then we do not deserve to be in the SEC East conversation. These are big players that are out, however great teams overcome adversity. Missouri is unranked and barely made noise in the Big 12 apart from the Maclin, Daniel days. I think we can actually win, maybe even without a miracle.”
True Mizzou was great with Maclin/Daniel but beat #1 OU in 2012 with B. Gabbert and some of the same players on our current team. Mizzou had a 1st year starting QB last year and still went to a Bowl Game…not much different than Auburn after losing Newton. Great teams with tenured QB’s always have better years as I’m sure you know with a Sr. QB. Franklin is that much better with exp as he destroyed NC in our bowl game last year. Be very prepared for disappointment tonight….you should start drinking now, because it’ll be a long night for Dawgnation.

Old man football is playing personal favorites over the better players on the roster. Old man football is depending on the talent of players to make players over good playcalling. Old man football is suspending certain players for rules infractions and not suspending certain players for rules infractions. Old man football is living in the past and not updating the offense while rivals update and surpass you offensively.Old man football is doing things the same way for 12 years and always falling short and looking for excuses to play the blame game. To hell with old man football. Puff, Puff,Pass…….it’s got to be out of control at UGA under Richt. And Richt’s failure to instill discipline has UGA with less than 70 real scholarship plays. Through suspensions in and ultimately it’s gonna cost you ballgames. I guess Richt doesn’t know you can’t replace talent with his favorite walk-on/ run-on players he graciously gives scholarships away to and get away with it. After tonight the hotseat may show back up in Athens and it’s sad to see pressure applied to such a nice person.

I’ve got that same bad feeling going into the Mizzou road game as I did going into the Stillwater OK. road loss a few years ago. UGA defense is short handed and we know Richt can’t prepare the team and get it up for a tough road game anymore. Texas A&M is manhandling UF right now 17-7. Gators are dropping like flies out there in College Station. Muschamp is cussin’ up a storm but it don’t look good for UF. They can’t stop Coach Sumlin’s offense. Will the same happen to UGA in Columbia tonight? Will our defense lay down and will Murray turn the ball over? Well at least Richt won’t be cussing on camera if it does. LOL. This game will tell us even more about the direction UGA football is going. Go Dogs ! If we lose just do what our players do: “Fire up a doobie”, and get over it. You won’t be suspended as a UGA fan. LOL.

If the DAWGS lose tonight, Rambo and Ogletree should be immediatly dissmissed from the team and shown the door! If they can’t do the right thing and support the team, then why should the team support them. All the ME crap in Athens is gettin old!!

Suspensions aside, there is absolutely no reason for CMR to have been so coy about who would be making the trip. I like the Coach, but that’s pure crap. Either they were or they weren’t. I hope the coaching staff isn’t so tentative tonight.
Go Dawgs!

DAMMIT MURRAY THROWS A PICK AFTER UGA DEFENSE FORCES A MIZZOU FUMBLE IN THE RED ZONE. UGA OFFENSE IS FLAT AS HELL! THE DEFENSE IS PLAY HARD. WHAT THE HELL ARE THE THREE STOOGES RICHT,BOBO, AND MURRAY GOING TO SCREW UP NEXT !! I SWEAR I’M SICK OF THE OFFENSIVE BS MAN !!

PUFF, PUFF, PASS. DAMMIT MURRAY IS OVERTHROWING RECEIVERS. WRs HAVE TO CLIMB A LADDER OR COMEBACK TO THE BALL TO TRY TO CATCH IT. MURRAY IS NO PRO PROSPECT UNLESS YOU SMOKE SOMETHING STRONGER THAN WEED. THIS GAME IS GOING LIKE THE UCF BOWL LOSS GAME. BOBO IS CALLING A TERRIBLE GAME IN RICHT’S OFFENSE. CLEARLY UGA’S DEFENSE IS ALL THE DOGS HAVE GOING FOR THEM NOW!! THE DEFENSE HAS FORCED ANOTHER TURNOVER IN MIZZOU TERRITORY. NOW WATCH THE THREE STOOGES MUCK IT UP!

MURRAY REALLY STINKS TONIGHT AT QB. THE FRESHMAN KICKER HAS TO KICK A 55 YD FG, BECAUSE BOBO’S-RICHT DESIGNED PASS FIRST OFFENSE HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ALL NIGHT. JUST RUN THE DAMNED BALL RICHT ! PUFF, PUFF, PASS…..COUGH ! RUN TO TO FREAKING WIN BEFORE MURRAY THROWS A PICK SIX 111

AT THE HALF. UGA IS NOT A TOP TEN TEAM. THE DOG DEFENSE HAS DONE A DECENT JOB CONSIDERING THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF HELP IT GETS FROM THE OFFENSE. GEORGIA CANNOT AND WILL NOT BEAT BAMA OR LSU WITH THESE KIND OF UNEVEN OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCES. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT GO AHEAD AND ORDER YOUR CAPITAL ONE BOWL OR OUTBACK BOWL TICKETS NOW. MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS FOR AN ORLANDO BOWL AGAIN. IT’S ANOTHER 9-3 SEASON ONLY BECAUSE OF THE LIGHT SCHEDULE. HAT’S OFF TO LB, JARVIS JONES, KEEP BALLING YOUR WAY TO THE NFL !!

WHY WON’T GEORGIA JUST RUN THE DAMN BALL AND KILL CLOCK IN THE 4TH QTR WITH THE LEAD. STILL PASSING THE FREAKIN’ BACK AND STOPPING THE DAMN CLOCK . NO DAMN KILLER INSTINCT ! THANK GOD FOR JARVIS JONESINT TO CLOSE THE GAME. BOBO AND RICHT SURE AS HELL DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO FINISH MIZZOU OFF. SO DEFENSE DID IT FOR THEM. DOGS WIN IN SPITE OF RICHT AND BOBO !

UGA COULD HAVE ENDED THIS GAME EARLIER IF RICHT/BOBO WOULD HAVE KEPT RUNNING THE BALL INSTEAD OF LETTING MISSOURI HANG AROUND BY LETTING MURRAY THROW INCOMPLETIONS TO STOP THE CLOCK. JARVIS JONES IS WINNING THE GAME FOR UGA ! NOT THE OFFENSIVE COACHING. JUST RUN THE DAMN BALL AND DRAIN THE CLOCK RICHT!
