Video: Talking about Buffalo game, anticipation of big season and those suspensions

Had my weekly back-porch chat with Cinesport’s Noah Coslov. He wanted to know what the vibe was on UGA’s campus this week, what the Bulldogs hope to gain from Saturday’s game against Buffalo and what affect the suspensions of Alec Ogletree and Bacarri Rambo were going to have on the team. Well, see for yourself.

Call me naive, but I don’t think they serve a suspension. Those things are usually announced by now.

Let’s hope my prediction holds up!

@ Old Dawg – Rambo’s suspension wasn’t announced this time last year before Boise State…

OldDawg…..I would like to be naive on the topic of suspensions also. CMR, imho, would have cleared the air long ago if this was not going to involve some lost games for those two. Maybe as many as 4 game for AO!

Aint no Bama players suspended. Coach Saban keeps his boys out of trouble.

You’re coach is a wussie and your doggies are way overated.

Roll tide (aka burgundy pachyderms), you know that saban and the sheriff and police chief have each other on speed dial. Satan does not preside over a bunch of little angels, he just keeps the trouble swept under the rug.

I spent 12 years in Bama. Believe me, when they find out what a dictionary is, learn to read it (and comprehend some of it), they may learn the definition of the word, “suspension.” Until then the Tuscalossa PD will continue to give their boys a pass on all infractions. I think they are still afraid of the ghost of the Bear.

Why would UGA fans “hope” that neither player is punished? It is a fact that Rambo tested positive for weed, and this is his 2nd run in against UGA’s drug policy. It might be Ogeltree’s first drug offense, but it is the second time he has been in troube (the first was for theft). I would think that you would want to see those players punished so that other UGA players would get the message.

Roll tide….your coach is a midget with porcelain vineers the size of car hoods and he not only allows his players to punch they baby mamas, but encourages it by not disciplining them….stfu

Complete waste of energy grousing with those toilet rolls, heck I wouldn’t be surprised if Saban himself “Rolls” a fat one from time to time………….Those eyes do look a little glassy…………We won’t miss a beat with Rambo and “Tree” out for a while, I’d love to see what they could do early, but we are deep enough to actually turn this “misfortune” into an advantage. Just makes us that much deeper when we face South Carolina, Florida, Auburn and the likes………….Once again my BULLDOG brothers pay no attention to the fools one state to our west…………..Alabama is in a world of it’s own…………..they have been “gaming” the system and flat-out cheating going back to the days of Paul Bryant…………..and no………….I’m not the least bit jealous………….I’d much rather win the “Georgia way” which might mean a loss every now and then , than slither like an Alabama snake…………Regards, RED

Roll Tide, Words can’t describe what I think of Bammer Football & Little Niki. Dude I’ll give you this much, Saban and his bunch sure know how to hide / cover up stuff!!!! Smoking weed, hitting girl friends, passing grades, leaving a damged car on the side of the road and blaming it on your cuz!!! All stuff will come to and end soon. To bad the NCAA president is right there in Birmingham….

Georgia fans hope Rambo and Ogletree don’t get suspended because they hope they aren’t guilty. If they are, then they should and will pay a price as is Richt’’s policy and it would be ignorant to ask for anything different. I don’t really understand what good it does either way to hold the announcment until game time against a team like Buffalo unless Richt has decided to make it a game by game announcement. Either way, I don’t think a team would prepare for the Bulldogs any differently unless injuries make the situation worse..

Mr. Dawg…UGA fans can “hope” that Rambo and Ogletree aren’t guilty, but it’s a fact that they failed drug tests.

YOU might hope they aren’t guilty, and to be honest, I think your post is right on the money. However, a LOT of UGA fans are wanting Richt and UGA to “change their attitude” with regard to suspending players.
