Former UGA defensive back Chris Sanders dismissed at GMC
Former Georgia defensive back Chris Sanders has been dismissed from Georgia Military College, which will permanently block his passage back to Athens.

Sanders, a cornerback from Tucker, had expressed his desire to return to play for the Bulldogs next season. He was dismissed from Georgia along with two other players in late January for his involvement in an alleged theft from a teammate.
Bert Williams, head coach of GMC’s junior college football program in Milledegville, confirmed via text message Wednesday that he had dismissed Sanders from the program. Other than a violating of team rules, Williams would say only they that Sanders was kicked off for a “continuation of old ways.”
“Extremely sad,” Williams said.
Sanders came to Georgia with great promise. A two-way star who earned all-state honors at Tucker High, Sanders played in three games for the Bulldogs as a true freshman before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the season. He was expected to compete for playing time this coming season. Sanders was Georgia’s first commitment of the 2011 recruiting class.

Amazing……a 14 year old middle school QB committed to Washington today. What’s next…..a parent commits his and her baby in the womb to play for Stanford in 2029? Probably will happen soon….with the kid being the product of sperm donated to the mother by John Elway and Bo Jackson. But I am sure Auburn fans will get upset by the Stanford commitment and offer donations to the parents church to try and change his mind (just kidding Auburn fans).Amazing……a 14 year old middle school QB committed to Washington today. I was at Ikea today and some GT recruits or possibly current players relieved me of my CD player, laptop, and a gym bag full of NRA t-shirts. Only gone for 20 minutes and car was broken into Atl is a cesspool. We can find them though- how many NRA t-shirts you think the “typical” atl citizen has?

“DeBusk said Knoxville Police Chief David Rausch on Monday evening alerted UT Police Chief Troy Lane and football coach Derek Dooley about Bray’s alleged involvement in two incidents.
“We made them aware that he was a suspect in an incident — in two incidents,” DeBusk said.
Rausch alerted Dooley and the UT police chief because “we have a very good working relationship with UT,” DeBusk said, and also to determine Grandinetti’s status with the university.”

I remember seeing part of Tucker vs. Marist on TV when a Marist RB was run out of bounds and this kid stood over him and taunted him without really making the tackle. He drew a flag and I thought, great, another trememdous recruit. All of this seems fairly predictable considering that play.

Jan kemp blew the whistle on UGa for their remedial studies program. All teams in the SEC (except Vandy)had similar programs and so did many ACC teams including GT. Unfortunately, UGa was the team that took the heat. There were no NCAA violations, no penalties or probations……just embarrassment. But not near as embarrassing as Bama’s probations or GT losing their ACC title.

Tampa, Did you do any research on all the public school athletes that are excellent students that received a great education and are leaders on any team? Or, did you research your findings with only one player from one school in one school system? If so that was not a very good example of statistics. Try 1000 athletes from public and 1000 athletes from private schools, compare them in academics, character, ability and attitude…then you might have something to discuss…

He hasn’t won against a team that finished the season ranked. He is only 4-10 against teams with winning records. UGA overall is 2-14 against teams that finished ranked in the last 4 years

You are making yourself out to be an idiot. Witchett had his scholarship REVOKED because his character was so bad. Posey wasn’t good enough to play at UGA. Caffey hasn’t done crap so far at Kentucky. Most of those guys would not be starting at this point in their careers and your lack of knoweledge about Witchett shows you don’t know nearly as much as you think you do.

I used to be a Georgia fan. They were my 2nd favorite team. Then the comparisons to all the actual winners became too much for Holier than thou Bubba. Ever since Tech won the national title, the nitwits have come out of the word work. While I respect Coach Richt, I thnk it’s hilarious that all these “front line players” have brought only a handful of SEC championships. No national championships. I lost more respect for the school for running away from the Louisville game and got 3 cupcake schools to play ‘em. Georgia may very well go undefeated, but if there are other undefeateds…….yet when I voice my feelings, I’m called stupid or a Tech fan. I’m not a Tech fan. I’m a life long Atlanta Falcon fan….the Falcons are the pro team…NOT the pathetic Bullflops. But leave it to the UGAJC to tell me about Billy Bob going to that podunk school and not about what the Birds need to do to win. Auburn has got some recruits the last couple of years and they got a good DC now. Will they make it to the SEC championship in the next 5 years? Nope. The offense and QB still sucks and while they will be better this year, they still will not score enough to be too much of a threat…they better hold all teams under 15-20 points….I hate Auburn. I like Bama better than Auburn Auburn hasnt done anything but cheat BIG time the last 25 years…May they suck for the next 25! I will drink to that!

As a Falcon fan it really gets annoying when you’re trying to find out what needs to happen to win a game and all you get from this fishwrapper is Billy Bob went to UGA in 1997. Really? I turned it off in 1992 after some nitwit said “Go you hairy Braves.” Really? Then I remember my tried and true, AtlantaFalcons.com.
