Former UGA defensive back Chris Sanders dismissed at GMC

Former Georgia defensive back Chris Sanders has been dismissed from Georgia Military College, which will permanently block his passage back to Athens.

Sanders

Sanders

Sanders, a cornerback from Tucker, had expressed his desire to return to play for the Bulldogs next season. He was dismissed from Georgia along with two other players in late January for his involvement in an alleged theft from a teammate.

Bert Williams, head coach of GMC’s junior college football program in Milledegville, confirmed via text message Wednesday that he had dismissed Sanders from the program. Other than a violating of team rules, Williams would say only they that Sanders was kicked off for a “continuation of old ways.”

“Extremely sad,” Williams said.

Sanders came to Georgia with great promise. A two-way star who earned all-state honors at Tucker High, Sanders played in three games for the Bulldogs as a true freshman before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the season. He was expected to compete for playing time this coming season. Sanders was Georgia’s first commitment of the 2011 recruiting class.

Obviously, I’m not a dawg fan, but I’m saddened by these players (uga or any other team) that don’t seem to appreciate the chance that their talents have afforded them. HOW do they just blow such a shot at playing football in front of thousands of people? It’s a sad testimony and I pray that things will take a turn for the better asap…tired of these stories…regardless of their team affiliation.

It didn’t take but a few minutes for this blog to be on here before an idiot gets on and starts blaming mark richt. he had nothing to do with this idiot getting into trouble again. So mr. Moobs Johnson stick it where the sun don’t shine. It gets old listening to jerks like you accusing Richt for every thing that goes wrong.

Georgia runs a hooligan program just like the Miami of old. At least Miami won multiple National Chamipionships. The best UGA can do is winning a division handed to it by the SEC schedule makers.

Can you say blackball? If you get kicked out of Georgia, then dismissed from junior college for disciplinary reasons I would imagine the only other team willing to take you is the State Penn team- (Penitentiary) soon.

I think the only hope for some of these kids would be if there was a one time round trip in a 30-year time machine. If they could go forward 30-years and see what their life if going to be like, then they may wake up and smell the coffee and seize the opportunity. But the fact of the matter is, it ain’t never gonna happen. So they’ll grow up and become a burned out superstar that becomes the legend of the local recreation league telling anyone that will listen, ” I was on track to be the next Herschel, or Champ Bailey or Dominique Wilkins or whoever.” But nobody’s gonna care, except their cell mate or crack head buddy or next door neighbor in the trailer park. All he’s gonna say is, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, hey you gonna pass that pipe this way or what?”

Sad but so many times true.

Aaron Murray has not won a game against a ranked team, ever? Is this true? Read it in an article recently and was shocked. Anyway, this dismissal seems to be the norm with coach MediocRe. it’s gonna be a long season, sports fans.

Actually Aaron has won against two ranked teams. Auburn and GT. That being said, GT should not have been ranked at the time and we should have been #1.

Georgia is terrible… they will never win another game in the South’s Oldest Rivalry as long as I’m head coach. Mark my words. Georgia had the easiest schedule in the history of the world, while we played a national champion every week… minus UGA. Auburn football is on the rise, WDE.

Who cares about him? He’s not good enough to jump ship to a good SEC school like Mettenberger did and he’s a former player. Let’s focus on the current season and building off a good defensive season.

Paul Johnson has won just once against UGA, so I wouldn’t get too excited, Tech fans who are trolling. I think a lot of the Bama fans on here are actually Florida and Tech fans using Bama to talk trash. It’s happened before.

As you can see people, it doesn’t matter where some kids land at they are just bad apples no matter where they go. CMR and the staff saw the potential in the kid to be a good ball player but sometimes you can’t know if a kid is going to be like this if he has not gotten into trouble in high school. If you’re a thief that’s what you are no matter where you go UGA or anywhere. The comments of the coach tells you that he must have stolen something from a team mate or someone else. Let’s don’t blame the coaches. Let’s put the blame where it lies with the thief and whoever raised the thief.

He hasn’t won against a team that finished the season ranked. He is only 4-10 against teams with winning records. UGA overall is 2-14 against teams that finished ranked in the last 4 years.

Macrotech….

Kids come through our public school systems being “enabled” and told nothing they do poorly or badly is their fault….”the problem is your teacher is not good enough”….and “you need not take any responsiblity for your actions.” Then…we wonder why…when they leave public schools…they act like this. Expect a lot more to hit the streets soon….like next June.
