HOOVER, Ala. – In a jab at Georgia’s schedule earlier this week, South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier offended Mississippi’s football program. Said Spurrier: “If I made the schedule, Georgia would be playing LSU, and we’d be playing Ole Miss.”
Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze fired back on Thursday as SEC Media Days concluded: “2013, I think they’re on our schedule. We will circle that date and look forward to maybe changing his perspective on Ole Miss football.”
Georgia coach Mark Richt also was asked about Spurrier’s comment that he’d prefer to play UGA’s cross-division schedule rather than South Carolina’s.
“I’m sure there will be a year he’ll be thankful for the schedule he has,” Richt said.

I wasn’t able to go to UGA so I settled on Georgia Southern. As a 42 year old male with no life I enjoy posting under fake names because I have nothing better to do. Gosh, I wish I had something better to do with my time.

The dogs best learn how to tackle Latimore if they want to remotely stay in it on October 6th.

If you ask me, LSU, BAMA, and, Arkansas should be thankful they don’t have to play UGA this year.

After all the wins against Georgia (as a coach) he still can’t let it go.
Georgia fans should take that and laugh a little. After all this time, Georgia still gets to him. Even when he beats Georgia he still can’t stop talking about the Dawgs. It’s tough being the little brother isn’t it Steve. Even if you’ve outshined and passed the older brother.
I still have the shirt after the game Donnan’s team WAXED the gators. Say’s something like “What can I say, Georgia was just the better team”

Richt could but he won’t. Straight and narrow with him. Don’t rock the boat.

Lattimore is a great talent. I have two things for the MOAG fans out there. 1. Better hope that knee holds, from experience with ACL’s and knees, they’re never really the same. 2. Jarvis Jones will eat his lunch.

It’s going to be fun no matter the results

We run the east,NO way lattimore runs for more than 100 yards this year! This will be the best UGA defense he has faced and I don’t care what Spurrier says no way he will be the same player after his injury and with that we don’t even know if he will hold up to the UGA game.Yeah you run the east, you’ve been to the sec champioship game once and got thumped, you really run it alright!!

with the dog’s easy schedule, they should easily win the sec east again and play lsu for the title. this year, the dogs will upset lsu and win the title—take it to the bank. this dog D–best in the SEC.

The UGA defense will be hungry and eager. Its time to feed the dawgs. SC has a lot of talent and good coachs no doubt but GA is after blood and they can expect a beat down in Columbia. They had better learn how to throw the ball and throw it fast.

Ga will upset south carolina in columbia—mark it down. sc is overrated and with the dog’s d, spurrier’s offense will be shut down!

I think Spurrier just like to have a little fun and I think he is a dam good coach that most SEC teams would love to have including Ala before they got Saban. I don’t think anyone should read to much into what Spurrier said about Ga. I think anybody but a fool would rather play Ole Miss than LSU. I wouldn’t care if it PO coach Freeze or not That just the facts that LSU is a better program than Ole Miss at this point and most tlikely will be for years to come. What was the score in the SECC game last. year. I think UGA would have beat OLE MISS like A DRUM!.

[...] Miss coach Hugh Freeze didn’t take kindly to that remark. The always calm Mark Richt simply responded, “I’m sure there will be a year he’ll be thankful for the schedule [...]
