In a decision that will surely surprise some, ousted Georgia running back Isaiah Crowell has decided to transfer to Alabama State University.
Alabama State coach Reggie Barlow confirmed Crowell’s transfer in a phone conversation Thursday evening. He said the rising sophomore has already registered for classes at the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) school in Montgomery, Ala., and will begin classes on Monday. Pending the outcome of his court case on three weapons charges, Crowell will play football for the Hornets this fall.
“We’re going to show him how we do things and let him turn the page,” said Barlow, the Hornets’ coach since 2007. “We’re giving him an opportunity to start over.”
Crowell was dismissed by the Bulldogs this past Friday, just 13 hours after he was pulled over and arrested at a road block. He was charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor after a 9-mm Luger handgun with a scratched-off serial number was found underneath the driver’s seat of the 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis he was driving. Crowell this week retained the services of high-profile Atlanta criminal defense lawyer Steve Sadow to represent him on those charges.
Barlow said Crowell’s legal troubles were taken into consideration and discussed at length among Alabama State administrators.
“The court system is the court system,” Barlow said. “That will be worked out over there [in Athens]. As far as us, he left Georgia in good academic standing. We know he’s a young man who has made some mistakes and has has learned from them and we’re going to give him a chance to restore his credibility.”
Crowell was Georgia’s leading rusher this past season with 850 yards and five touchdowns and was named SEC Freshman of the Year by The Associated Press. But he was twice suspended from games due to team policy infractions and was unable to play most of the last four games due to an ankle injury.
Barlow believes the Hornets are getting a very special player.
“Well, that’s an understatement,” said Barlow, a former NFL wide receiver. “If you’ve got eyes you’ve seen him. He can play. He’d be a great player on any level. We’ve had SEC players here before. It won’t be a walk in the park. But obviously he has some skills few others have.”
Barlow said there could be some unexpected good fortune in it for the Bulldogs. He said the last three times he has had players transfer to Alabama State from SEC schools, those schools went on to win national championships the coming season.
“That’s no lie,” he said of Alabama, Florida and Auburn. “I think there’s something to it. So tell the Bulldogs to be ready.”
NOTE: In other news Thursday, redshirt sophomore linebacker Brandon Burrows of Marietta has decided to transfer due to a lack of playing time or prospects at Georgia.
Burrows issued a statement through UGA.
“I came out of high school playing the defensive end position in a 4-3 defense which is what I truly love,” said Burrows, who was redshirted as a freshman in 2010 and missed the 2011 season due to a shoulder injury.”The coaching change here led to a 3-4 defense. I have worked with that transition but decided that I want to get back to playing defensive end. I think another program may give me the best opportunity to succeed at that. I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity Coach Richt has given me at UGA and for the fact that he gave me an unconditional release. I know I’ll be hard-pressed to find a group of coaches and players that will develop into the leaders and friends that I have known here in Athens.”
Said coach Mark Richt: “Brandon is an outstanding person, student-athlete and has a wonderful family. We’ve enjoyed having him as part of our program and will provide whatever assistance we can in his transition. I am completely understanding of his decision and wish him nothing but the best.”

As far as Burrows goes, good luck to him too. He seems like a good kid, too bad we couldn’t get him on the field. We are stocking up at LB though, I’m sure we’ll be alright. Go Dawgs!

I think Burrows’ transfer leaves us with 70 scholarship players (excluding walk-ons who have been given scholarships). I do not agree with oversigning, but that amount of undersigning is roster management malpractice, and it is very likely to have a substantial impact. The good news is that it seems that the coaching staff finally realizes that it is a big problem.

kdawg76,
You’ll find out soon enough how tough it is to go into a season well under the scholarship limit. UF did it last year and the lack of depth was a killer when the injuries started to pile up. I don’t expect UGA to have as bad a season as UF did, but it could get ugly some with enough bad injuries.

I am surprised by Crowell’s decision to go D2 as opposed to JUCO. He may still get a good look from the NFL provided he cleans his act up, but IMO the better route would have been to go JUCO for a year and then transfer to a BCS-caliber school for one year before going pro. Cam Newton proved that was the best route.

With as few players under scholarship how could Burrows not get playing time? At some point the continued undersigning is going to equal a full year’s signing class. Someone in Athens needs to get on the ball. This team need depth.
As for Crowell if he can beat the rap in Athens and stay out of trouble for a year I bet he either ends up at Auburn (if they money is right) or Alabama.

@Lasso – nah, I really doubt it. They hit a lot harder in the NFL than they do in the SEC. He went to D2 simply because he couldn’t play a full game without resting or recovering from a hit. Unless he toughens up, the only way he has a chance of winning millions is to rob a Brinks Armored Truck, which might have been what that revolver without a serial number was for.

Enter your comments hereWith all the money, coaches and grad assistants that the program has you tell me no one knew Caleb King wasnt going to his summer school classes, or that Washaun Ealey had missed a court date and had a suspended license or that Crowell had a gun in his car!! Your telling me he never showed it off to teammates or Richt never had a serious speech to the team that no guns were needed or tolerated at UGA. I dont expect the head coach to tuck each kid in bed every night but someone on the staff must have a relationship with each player. Thats what Richt promised each one’s mama! “We’re gonna look out for and teach your son to be a man.” Ill bet the prized cattle in Watkinsville is look after better. Richt failed this family!! Even more so as he simply said “He’s a bad seed and no longer welcome here.” If a officer searches a car based on him smelling marijuana and doesnt find any, it seems to me Ed Tolly could get the whole search thrown out. How about standing with the kid through the process like his parents would do. Suspend him for the season for the stupid decision, let him transfer if he wants, just dont wash your hands of him and send him home a felon. In just one year the football dept. made alot of money off this kid. Crowell may be a prima donna but thats what two years of millionaire coaches blowing smoke up his ass (the recruiting process) will do. It was Richt’s job to make the kid humble again.

So many of these “high profile” recruits are not READY for the rigors of big time college football. IC has been coddled since his pee wee days, so why would he think he can conform in one year in Athens. These high school coaches need to be straight up with these athletes, remind them that after you leave home, it is definitely a BRAVE NEW WORLD that awaits you. There are plenty of IC stories that will be reported yearly.

@angry hippy, the Caleb King situation was weird. I use to teach at another SEC school and if I had any athletes in my class (not just football players), every two weeks I received a card from the athletic department asking if the athlete had been attending class and was making good progress. Maybe UGA doesn’t have the same system or maybe some professors just don’t like filling out the cards. In the end though, the real problem is that to be competitive schools have to recruit players who normally wouldn’t make it through the admissions office, if they were even interested in trying.

You’re exactly right. I admire kids that can excel in the classroom as well as on the field, but in order to compete you must get the most talented guys. @Columbus – denial is killing a lot of young men. Sounds like you’re a candidate to become a crime statistic, and that it’s only a matter of time. The tragedy of talent lost to selfish stupidity! So many gifts being thrown away for a few trinkets of fool’s gold. What a shame! This is a plague, a historic plague on young men of talent that throw away their future for a bong, or a hit, or a drink, or a lay. IC couldn’t get out of his own way. Nothing any good is going to happen to him after 2 AM. Maybe a hot shot lawyer can play a race card, and get him off. IC will not make it. He will go to A.S and go into culture shock over the facilities and field and stadium facilities – he will not work as hard out nor will he have the supervision or guidance he had at UGA – in essence, he is going to a place where he knows he can behave like he did in high school and get away with it. If I was his Mom, I would be more concerned with getting him good counseling than good legal representation. The lawyer will get him off the hook on a technicality and only show him that he can beat the rap instead of paying for his mistakes. This kid has learned nothing from his experience. He’ll be working on a farm shoveling cow dung in a rural Alabama town in a couple of years. All because we think foo baw is the ultimate goal in life. IC is a train wreck, and though he may be the Frankenstein monster, we’re the doctor that created him and others like him. Aren’t we proud.

College football has sold its soul to the devil. If any of us were thinking straight we would quit watching it – shut it down – and start all over. It’s supposed to be a game….. A GAME. Something fun, where whether you win or lose, you have a good time, learn some good lessons and then go home and talk about it and laugh over dinner. Now we have bribes, coaches being told who to recruit , paying off schools, and using prostitutes to lure players. And of course, the media is throwing money all over the place to get TV contracts and bowl championships and all of the other stuff. And what exactly does ANY of this have to do with helping these kids become better people and college students? How about absolutely nothing. These kids are chattel – they are throwaways – we use them like the Romans used the gladiators – they are here to entertain us and amuse us and to make some people a whole lot of money. And we – WE – have allowed this to happen with our infantile desire to win at any cost so that we can go around thumping our chests and claiming to be “champions”. Don’t you see? We, the fans, never “win” anything! We are so stupid – we are living vicariously through these kids- we are such a society of government educated idiots. This sport is not about US – it’s supposed to be about these young men! Don’t you get it? And the answer is – so obviously – NO. College football should be taken off of TV. If you want to see your team, you should have to go to the stadium. The entire atmosphere is artificial and exists to accomplish only one thing – make money. Congratulations to the media and colleges – you stumbled across a huge cash cow and you are milking it for all of the milk that Betsy can produce – and hey, it’s not your fault if the population is so stupid that it falls at your feet to lick up the drops you can’t carry to the frig. Welcome to “amateur sports.”

I’m glad Isaiah is getting right back into classes. No matter what you “EXPERTS” on here think, it is better that he is going in a classroom rather than sitting at home and possibly getting himself into trouble. I really don’t see Isaiah getting much out of those charges. The lawyer is saying what I said all along. If you looked at his mug shot, you saw a stone sober guy who knew he was in trouble. Maybe not all through the legal system, but by his head coach who more than likely had already given him just one more chance.
I do wish Isaiah well. I hate that he is leaving UGA the way he is. I can’t just write human beings off though. Please get your act together. Not for the chance of transferring back into a big SEC school. Do it for yourself and your mother. Get a degree and have a plan B set. Football is football and you never know when it will be gone. Well, just another “thumbng your nose at the law”. How many years in jail will he have if he is not acquitted of the charges. What will he have learned? What a joke! I wish him well too, but the average citizen would not ever be afforded this kind of opportunity. As far as comparing Crowell with Cam Newton…There is no comparison to their situations.

You’re wrong!
Average citizens get first-offender status & diversion programs ALL THE TIME to avoid having a permanent criminal records, this difference is, is that average citizens don’t have their every move tracked on sports pages and on sports talk radio from the they are 17 years old.
You don’t know what you are talking about, if he avoids jail time it won’t be because he is a high profile athlete.

______________
Crowell despite his ignorant rants on twitter is much smarter than many of you give him credit for.
By transferring to D1-AA he can play immediately, AND if he has success on-field he can also transfer back to D1-A WITHOUT graduating.
Had he gone to a JUCO he would have had to GRADUATE (ala Cam Newton from Blinn JUCO) to make it back to D1-A, by going to a D1-AA school he simply has to pass the requisite number of classes and make “progress towards a degree” and he can transfer back to D1-A (i.e. another SEC school) without sitting out.
If he puts up 1,200+ yds. rushing this season and keeps his nose clean look for him back in the SEC after a “1-year exile”.

Keeping his nose clean is all relative if his transgressions never get publicized, which is what will probably happen at a D1-AA school that doesn’t draw much media coverage.

Have people learned nothing from Rae Carruth, OJ Simpson, and the scores of other talented athletes who never learned that behavior has consequences? If colleges and universities do not start becoming more accountable to helping students (including athletes) about honor and good citizenship, then they are failing at what they so nobly attempt to do. All the banter about Cam just shows how he dodged responsibility for his actions only to be turned into a star by the news media and fans. We should not teach our children to glorify these kinds of men or that is what they will become.
Anger, attitude & entitlement are all stumbling blocks in your own path. Unless Isaiah Crowell owns this, he has no shot at success anywhere. What’s done in the dark always comes to light, and we always return to our baser instincts if we make no attempt at self-improvement.

Crowell is going to a very good program and will be surrounded by 3 coaches who actually played in the NFL is that’s his dream. As a matter of fact all three played at Alabama State. Most importantly he will also be surrounded but a group of coaches who are just good men. Barlow’s program is ran one on being an upstanding student first then athlete second. Sure this may not be what he or his parents dreamed of but everybody deserves a chance. He didn’t shoot any body, rob a store etc, he had a gun under the front seat. The first person on this blog that can say he or she has never did anything stupid good for you, you are perfect. This kid will not be allowed to act as he did in high school. But he will be introduced to a well rounded and up and coming program. And from the recent arrest/issues UGA has had I can say that may Coach Richt needs to tighten his reigns up a little. Maybe instead of focusing on what these kids can do for his program he needs to focus on what he can do for their lives. It’s not a guarantee that every kid will go to the NFL just because he played at any school in the nation.

You can bet your season passes to the Hornets this year, that the reason Crowell is playing for your school, is BECAUSE Coach Richt is trying to help the kid out. Not only that he cut him from our team but you would be naive to think that Coach Barlow made this decision without getting Richt’s input.

Anybody ever seen that movie my brother made years ago called The Longest Yard? Me and my brother are figuring that might be the same kind of ball Isaiah (lots of people drive my car and leave stolen guns in it) Crowell will be playing pretty soon. Me and my brother also figure that Georgia has enough folks who let lots of people drive their cars and leave stolen pistols in it and we aren’t too upset that Mr. Cry-well went across the river. The last time I was driving my brother to a plastic surgeon so he could have the skin on his face stretched even tighter than it already is, we were talking about another movie he made one time. This movie was made on a river up in North Georgia; I sure hope Mr. Isaiah (my ankle hurts again) cry-so-well don’t wind up squealing like a pig as a result of letting somebody drive his car who then left it smelling like a Cheech and Chong movie and forgot to take their stolen pistol with them when they got back to where they first borrowed the car from. I sure hope nobody over there borrows Mr. Crowell’s car because everybody knows what happens when you let lots of folks drive your car. Just the other day, a country music star who used to live in Athens borrowed my car to drive to a plastic surgeon to get the skin pulled even tighter across his face than it already is and when he returned my car, he had left a cassette tape in my 8-track adapter that was playing The Gambler. I went to pull the tape out and then I noticed two AK-47’s were sticking out from under my seat. When I went to pull them out I noticed a self-rolled cigarette was lying under the seat also so these things can happen to anybody. Good luck and good riddance Mr. look at me Cryingohwell. I hope you have a wonderful life and make lots of money in the NFL and buy all your friends some cars so they don’t have to borrow yours. The best the guy could ever do at Bama would be 4th or 5th string. He would sit behind Eddie Lacy, Super frosh 5 star recruit TJ Yeldon and most likely would not be able to beat out 3rd string tailback Jalston Fowler or the previous year’s 5 star recruit who sat out his freshman year due to injury. And that’s 5th string assuming he could beat out the 2 highly touted freshman running backs we have coming in the 2013 recruiting class ranked no. 4 and no. 5 running backs in the country. Stay at ASU Crowell. You’re not worthy of Bama.

The hits just keep rolling this summer don’t they. I’m serious Dawg fans…. we may sign 40 in February. CMR is going to have to go down to the intramural fields this summer and hand out schollys just to be able to fill up the dressing room. What do we have now??? 70? That is pathetic and embarrassing. McGarity is NOT the answer and I hope we get a new president who can upgrade this…
UGA Football- horrible summer. New black eye everyday. Many haters have valid points.
UGA Basketball- not competitve… no end in sight. Can’t sign any top GA players.
UGA Women’s Bball- once a national program now can’t beat Marist. Horrible.
UGA Baseball- pathetic with the GA talent base. The past two years is an enigma.
I thought we were getting a Jeremy Foley clone…… whatever.

Congradulations to Crowell for getting a possible second opportnity if he is cleared of the charges. We will miss him at Georgia but it’s now time for both parties to move on. I am confident in the players currently committed at the rb position and hopefully there’s a special back that will see an opportunity to contact Coach Richt…now!!
I still hope that Mario Alford will join the team in July as I believe it will be a good move for him and Georgia.
Burrows has been a class-act on and off the field and will be an asset wherever he decides to go. Will really miss him at Georgia… Best of luck and hope to see you in the NFL someday!!!
As far as Crowell it’s sad because I believe he had the chance to have a special year.. oh well?

I wish it could of work out at UGA for him. However, when trouble follow you around bad things happens to you. Last year, he was caught couple times wth illegal substances in his dorm room, he had to face the music then, and now he has a handgun in his car. Why do these things happen to him? I believe he wanted to get kick off the team because normal athletics do not do these things. I really wish him well at Alabama State University; however, Alabama State University just like the University of Georgia will not let him break the law or break team rules. I hope he learn something from this and stay clean. Yesterday, my UGA friend told me he will be a lifetime criminal.

We will be fine this year at TB and won’t miss the “IC abcess”. P.S. His quick release from the team (before a conviction) tells me a lot about how the coaches felt about his attitude. ATHENS — University of Georgia redshirt sophomore inside linebacker Brandon Burrows has decided to transfer to another institution seeking an opportunity for more playing time according to an announcement Thursday by UGA head coach Mark Richt.
“I came out of high school playing the defensive end position in a 4-3 defense which is what I truly love,” said Burrows.
“The coaching change here led to a 3-4 defense. I have worked with that transition but decided that I want to get back to playing defensive end.
I think another program may give me the best opportunity to succeed at that. I’m eternally gratefully for the opportunity Coach Richt has given me at UGA and for the fact that he gave me an unconditional release. I know I’ll be hard-pressed to find a group of coaches and players that will develop into the leaders and friends that I have known here in Athens.

At first I was one of the people on here that said he’ll get multiple chances to make it the NFL based solely on his talent level. But here’s what we must not forget. He has no work ethic, he’s injury prone, he’s not discipline on or off the field, he’s a criminal, he has no interest in making himself better, he’s lazy and he doesn’t have the killer instinct. He may get drafted but guys like this never have a sustainable pro careers. He’ll have a few solid performances scattered throughout a season but injuries and lack of effort will keep him from being offered a big contract. When and if he gets to the NFL he’ll be surrounded with guys that are just as good as him and want it more without the risk that comes along with IC. I predict 2 or 3 years in the league and then back to his home town by age 26 and broke and forgotten by 30. We see it all the time.

Can someone explain the scholarship situation regarding the losses? Will this open additional spots for the 2013 class or give a walk on a chance?
I had high hopes for this kid but they started to fade as soon as he showed up as well as through the season. Then we hear he is turning the corner and making positive changes in his life. I don’t have hatred for the kid, just disappointed to see him and others throw away a gift of an education from that he can use for the rest of his life. The football dream can end at any moment.
Wish him nothing but the best and feel confident that this was the best for everyone involved. The depth chart looks good now and all the kids will get some time on the field. This will also open the door for the 2013 class to think again about the commitment they will have to make. Go Dawgs!!!

THERE is awhole lot more to UGA than the BS that TOWERS & CARVELL have to say (write) about Georgia. They would not have a job if they couldn’t write about the negatives. Is that all you know about UGA. What do ya’ll do watch the police reports or can’t wait for a young man to change his mind about his commitment ? Not you or any of the players that you feature is going to make one bit of different in what UGA will do this fall. So get on board so YA’LL want look so SUPID when the season is over ! LIKE YOU DID LAST YEAR WHEN THEY WON THE EAST! I printed out all your junk every week last year & every prediction you made every week was not even close to what really happen. I think Isaiah Crowell is a good example of someone who should have been red-shirted.If he came in during 04-07, he would have been. That’s not to say he wouldn’t have gotten in trouble, but I think Crowell’s problem is his ego, which is something that is held in check when you’re red-shirted and fighting for a spot. But since Richt allowed the program to backslide, we lacked depth at a LOT of positions, including RB. Therefore guys like Crowell and Washuan Ealey got thrust into the lineup before they were ready. I also blame Richt for this whole “Dream Team” baloney. I realize you have to do that to some extent, especially since these kids are so egocentric today. But at some point guys need to come prepared to work and stay out of the BS. These coaches blew a lot of smoke up Crowell’s arse and he was pushed to the moon before he was ready from a maturity standpoint to handle it.
On the field I felt Crowell was a pretty decent talent. He was clearly a step up ability wise from what we had back there, and the offense had a nice pop when he was in there. I hated the way he ran though. IDK, he just ran like an injury-prone running back would run( trying to run through guys when he’s not a bruiser back). Crowell was rightfully held accountable for his actions, but I also think our coaching staff needs to be held accountable for the way they handled, or more accurately haven’t handled, these off field issues with the RB’s( good luck with that one).
In terms of the bigger picture: Richt’s teams ( especially the last few years) have really lacked leadership within the ranks. It helps to have teammate accountability. Nothing wrong with partying, but have some self control. I feel there is an education process in moderation that is lacking here.

Crowell has the talent, that can’t be denied. But talent does you no good when you can’t stay on the field, either because of rules violations or “injuries.” I put that in parenthesis because I find it highly unlikely that he was injured as much as he claims, he may have been hurt, he may have been in pain, but if you are injured that much you should quit football before you damage yourself for life.

If you want your boy to go to jail, send him to UGA. If you want him to be a winner in life, send him to me.
How long will it take for the new RB recruits to land in that all too familiar Athens jail cell?

I’m glad IC took the route he took and the school he decided on. Coach Barlow at ASU requires his players to be discipline both on and off the field. His older brother Jeff Barlow is a 25 year Navy vet(CMC) who instills discipline in his troops, so it must runs in the family.Good luck young fella, you will be alright, plus ASU’s got two (over 300lbs) beast on the right side of the line. Good luck Burrows, you will be playing somewhere.

“SEC Fan”, the moron’s in your mirror. Especially if you don’t think Alabammer or Awbarn wouldn’t take Crowell in a minute if he could transfer there without sitting out a season. Want proof? How about Scam Newton.

I’m sure the sanction (dismissal) was the appropriate action by the University, given the seriousness of the offense. What bothers me is the apparent kneejerk reaction mentality: the young man was charged with a serious (i.e., felony) offense, he wasn’t convicted at the time the University saw fit to dismiss him from his scholarship and the team. What’s the hurry? Why not let the legal system run its course, and then respond with an appropriate sanction. I really don’t like the message: if we think you’re guilty, you’re out. This sounds like a scary presumption to be making with our young people.

Ronald, if this were Crowell’s first, or maybe even second, offense, the University might have acted differently. When you have a cancer and it reappears, you cut it out immediately. He’s gone and I’m glad. UGA is better off now. Like someone said, it’s time to move on.

Good luck IC – hope you get your head on straight, soon.
Good luck, Coach Barlow – apparently you are not aware of a thing called Twitter. Get a really good English tutor for IC, for starters. Then follow IC on Twitter, and convince anybody (including yourself) what exactly “Cowell has learned from his mistakes.”

As I read some of these comments, It’s amazing the brutality of grown ups dealing with a young Man who isn’t even 20 yet. I wanna first take the time to thank you people who wish this young man well, but for the many of you that wanna throw this KID to the wolves, your pathetic grown ups caught up in your love for football sobad that you can’t see A YOUNG MAN LIFE could be destroyed. UGA and it’s people really care about this kid from the aspect of him being a commodity. Crowell needs guidance and leadership, which even many of you die hards gotta admit isn’t going on at UGA. Alabama State may not be and upgrade in football, but for guidance, leadership, and a environment in which this young man can function as a young man transitioning to adulthood this may just what he needed. UGA fans, Herschel Walker ain’t in every kid, stop looking at them to be your savior and look at the guy making oh roughly $3,800,000 + this year. Usually that’s how it works in the real world.

Really, really ticked about undersigning. Our sticking by the rules and the evil maneuvers of Saban now have us at a disadvantage.
The fact that we’ve had 46 arrests within six years and a ton of athletes either transfer or bounced for reasons of lack of discipline has NOTHING to do with it!!! Media conspiracy?
Now, back to the things which matter. Pass the chicken, please.

——————————————
I think the correct number is 50± in the last four years, so it has to be more than 46 in six years.
There’s every reason to believe that the arrests and suspensions will continue at that rate as long as Mark Richt continues to recruit the no-character low class trash like he’s been doing.

Just reading many of these comments about Crowell, and one thing I can say, and its not just about UGA, but at most of these SEC schools. Man, some of your people sure know how to praise and put these guys up on pedestals when they are playing on Saturday’s and running for 100 yards and scoring touchdowns, but when they let “your program” down or have a misstep, you sure know how to throw them under the bus….Damn. this is a young man that yeah made misstakes, but he did a lot for Georgia, probably more than most of you ever will do for your “proclaimed school”. Its almost like most think this kid was playing for you….got news for you, these kids dont give a damn about you or your precious UGA or whatever school you represent, they play for themselves and teammates. Thats all they should care about. I have a teenage son, and if he should ever be blessed to play football, I will make damn sure he knows it, dont get caught up in believing that thse so called fans and supporters of your school care about you. YOu are just a piece of meat, a tool to help their school acheive the elite status that many cant and never will achieve in their own lives, so they have to berate and degrade a 18-22 yr olds who dont measure up to the supposedly “high standards” that they desire.

IC’s case will never go to court. Illegal search.Has a real attorney and not a Public Defender. A search because a Deputy thought she smelled marijuna. The real reason was it was a car full of Young Black Males. Since in some places 90% of crimes are commited byYoung Black Males. I am not a racist. I marched with Martin Luther King in Atlanta a long time ago for Blacks having to right to vote. To pad arrests, its almost a sure thing, that If you search a vehicle with 4 or 5 Young black males, somebody is going to jail.

I agree with some earlier posts here–not only does Isaiah need to grow up and stop hanging with lowlifes (big if)–and also, that he’ll probably end up at a rival SEC school You thnk for one minute any of those skills wouldn’t welcome him in a year? Only if he’s sent to prison would that not be the case. And I’m fairly certain he’ll only get probabtion for the latest goofs.
