mason also threw 100% more interceptions as murray. do you honestly believe that the coaches would field a starter with a more talented back-up laying in wait?

@Dawg Rage………..I thinks ‘ol Kolton is more like 290 to 300………..But lets just say he is a little lighter…………..I will guarantee you IC, Kieth Marshall, Todd Gurley and the likes would much rather run behind an explosive 290lb guard or tackle than a fat, slow and winded 330lb good’un…………………….Say what you will about Kolton Houston, but on Saturdays this fall DOG NATION is going to be mighty proud to have him on the field………..mark my word on this one, kid is a winner………………..RED

I’m sorry GT Bob – but the dumbest thing I have ever seen is winning an ACC Championship and then having to give it back. And right with that is running that stupid offense Tech runs which is “The most prolific running game in college football (in the ACC anyway) and gets you nowhere year in and year out. GT Bob is the Man Boob himself who has finally realized the only way he can get to Georgia fans is to blog them to death LOL

some dude talking to himself at 2:49 in the morning. Anyway, the funniest thing ever is how UGA treated Jan Kemp. All she did was expose the corruption in Athens. You should build a statue of her right next to the cesspool. AND it really is a cesspool! I’m not kidding, sewage backs up on the field.

The Dawgs record was not so sporty in Matty Staffords freshman year either. Most of the losses during Murray’s tenure were during his freshman year(6-7). It’s very hard to win games in the SEC with a freshman QB and so many other holes on the team like UGA had in 2010. Last year we had 0 running game. That is the real problem with losing to ranked teams. The only way to win against championship caliber teams is to have a running game. That’s the real problem. If the Dawgs run the ball this year, I could play QB and win. Murray will make less mistakes when the running games puts less pressure on him to make “superhero” type plays to win. So stay off him! Go Dawgs!

You “Murray bashers” are total idiots!!! These are not Spring Game award winners……they are Spring Football Practice award winners. For you negative knuckleheads that means every day performance during every practice……not just one or two games. Goes to show you don’t have a clue and you also don’t understand why Murray is the favorite. You would be the first to complain if we used a different QB and lost a game. You would be screaming that CMR and Bobo were idiots for not using Murray. You guys are incredibly short sighted and out of touch, but I enjoy reading your uninformed blogs so keep it up……don’t be discouraged by your ignorance.

@Shawn
Thanks my friend…..you are soooooooo correct. No one seems to notice that Murray’s last 3 losses were to teams with “top 5″ defenses (LSU, SC and MSU). He is a really good QB and you were spot-on with your comments.

Tom, you’re spot on about the OL. Does anyone else remember the six sacks little Boise State put on us last fall? I’d rather have a smaller (not 50lb smaller, but maybe 20-30) lineman who can make it to his assignment in the fourth quarter than a big one who tires out when the game is on the line.
I’d support conditioning our lineman down some weight. It might help their mental toughness too.

Just read all the way through – You’re right too Red Dawg.
Those Buford coaches produce a lot of hard working ball players.

VegasDog: The quality of commentary on these blogs is so low, I really did not think it was possible for one commenter to stick out as particularly bad/misinformed/possibly brain-damaged, but you have managed it. Well done.

Of COURCE, Murray’s mistake come at the “worst time”. Under the greatest pressure, at the most critical time of a close game against your toughest competion. Well, Duh. Isn’t that when failures in a athletic competition is most likely to occur?
(and not too coincidently, also the worst time for your team mates to make critical mistakes too, although often glossed over, and in some cases the cause )
The other given about the”worst time” is that it’s also the exact point at which calling a less capable, less experienced back-up QB into the game would have reached maximum stupidity.

And by “exposed the corruption”, you mean pointing out things that were neither illegal nor broke any NCAA rules?
