Great class. Just exactly what we needed. Best fit of all Mark Richt’s 12 Recruiting Classes to what we needed. I like it. 13-1.

Can’t wait to see CTG’s Defense, Year 3!!!
Even if the offense is maxed out under Bobo, the D is gonna get better & better…

Our defense will be so good we won’t have to score 30 points all season to win.

We’ll only need to score about 17-20 points a game on offense to win ballgames. Think about it…our defense is basically the same from last season with 9 out of 11 starters returning…a lot of seniors on defense….tons of experience…we should be top 5 once again.

The dream team is more mature now… get ready to see some football. Just hope that O-line is more of a wall than wet tissue paper or no running back in the world despite two years with the best RBs in the nation now on board is going to help.

I appreciate all the recruits signing with Georgia. I also appreciate the juniors who came back this year.
I’m glad Georgia isn’t telling recruits that they have a scholarship and then just before signing day tells them something totally different as some schools have done. That type of recruiting just so you can have numbers and be in the top 10 recruiting year in year out says a lot about the school and it’s system.
Welcome to Georgia and I really believe that you will find that they really wanted all of you and you will be given every opportunity to compete. At least you will not be mislead.
It’s sad that most of the SEC schools adhere to ethical recruiting and yet those that mis lead recruits are not held accountable for their actions. Maybe someday the NCAA will put a stop to this type of recruiting as it it’s terrible for the athlete and their families. I feel extremely sad for those recruits and wish them the very best where ever they end up!
GO DAWGS AND THANKS FOR DOING THINGS UP AND ABOVE BOARD!

we have 13 ol on scholarship now and none of them seniors. sign 5 or 6 next year and we will be fine. the thing about depth is are you confident enough to play em. dallas lee wouldnt have played without injury. give somebody who practices well a chance. you never know.

We’re getting all the top recruits, but I’m still not hearing enough about the o-line…..have we got blockers or big bodies? We need to concentrate our efforts there, and until we do, we will NOT beat the bog boys; period!! However, I’m glad we got this kid. We’ll need him, as other teams will (like they did this year) figure out that we cannot run-block, so they can concentrate on shutting down the passing game and stop us. D will have to do it for us this year, for sure. O will look okay against the patsies, but if the line does not improve, we’ll still lose to the good teams unless the D holds them WAY down!

I can’t believe JHC’s grandpa is only 51. He was a grandfather at 17?? So his son/daughter was a parent at 17 as well??
Talk about irresponsible. That’s what’s wrong w/ this country today.

Jimmy,
I think you meant “grandfather at 34″ (not 17). Yes, it is far better in most cases to be older when you become a parent, but this obviously isn’t typical or the worst case. JHC is going to college after all! Also, if his grandfather was completely “irresponsible”, he wouldn’t be in JHC’s life at all. Don’t you pretend to be able to sum up the situation based on their ages and then generalize that to the entire country. That’s just stupid.

The dawgs will never stop the exodus of its instate blue chippers to rivals FL, AU, and AL until it wins a NC again. The in-state best will continue to snub GA until the coaching staff (primarily the O side of the ball) can demonstrate its as good as the rest by winning the SEC and NC. So far the coaching staff has fallen short and laid it out for all to see how it can blow games w/its offensive and ST woes. Until changes are made to right the ship most of these kids will continue to migrate out-of-state to rival teams that have shown they can win the big games consistently and not embarrass themselves on regional and national TV.

Please stop worring about the “O” line. They will be better than last year by a larger margin. The Dawgs got (3) Three in this year class. Theus, Beard, Pyke. Theus and Beard will start on the left side of the line. Davis Andrews will be the starting center. The right side of the line will be Lee, Ward, DeBell, Danzler to name a few and there are others. The cubbard is not bare at “O” linemen. With the exception of injuries the “O” will be fine. I to am waiting on Sept.2012.

Hope you are right ole yeller; every year we hear the same thing about who is coming in and what is going to happen, and then we get our butts kicked up front, size or no size. We did NOT bring on the top o-line recruits even in our own state. I again hope you are right; I am a dog through and through. However, our o-line prognostications have not been so great as of late. Of course we look good against the bad teams, but we cannot compete with the big-boys until we learn to BLOCK PROPERLY, Bobo or no Bobo, Richt or no Richt, rain or d*mn shine!

Not that much wrong with Bobo’s play-calling. Players need to execute. That’s coaching, not play-calling. Was it the O line not run blocking…or, RBs not finding the crease, not finding the hole….or not running the play that was called? Probably a little bit of everything. Bobo kinda had his hands tied when the players didn’t execute.
