Ex-UGA recruit Chester Brown and immigration policy
12:09 am January 25, 2012, by AJC Sports
Here’s an update on Chester Brown, the Bradwell Institute offensive lineman who de-committed from UGA on Monday for “personal family reasons.” (Go here to read the full story by the AJC’s Chip Towers)
ATHENS — A relatively new Georgia Board of Regents policy regulating the admission of undocumented students and illegal immigrants has prevented a football recruit from gaining admission to the University of Georgia.
Chester Brown, a 6-foot-5, 340-pound offensive lineman from Hinesville, committed to the Bulldogs in July, but he confirmed to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and several other media outlets late Monday night that he was withdrawing his UGA commitment “for personal reasons,” declining to elaborate.
However, a variety of people with direct knowledge of the situation confirmed to the AJC on Tuesday that Brown’s change of heart was because his admissions application to UGA was rejected because of a controversial Board of Regents policy that was adopted in October 2010.
That policy, created in the wake of the Jessica Colotl uproar at Kennesaw State earlier that year, states that an undocumented student can’t take the seat of an otherwise academically qualified Georgia resident who has been turned away because of capacity constraints.

So this confirms it then. His family was from Samoa, not American Samoa. And since his parents are here legally, Chester is still “undocumented” but not illegal. I hope I got that right. Geez, how so very confusing.

Are his parents Western Samoan or US Samoan? If US Samoan there should be birth records for him or his parents. If his parents are US Samoan and he was born here in the US shouldn’t he have a Birth Certificate and Social Security Card? UGa has their own Obama like Birth Scandal.

Surely there is a birth certificate somewhere. If he was born in the U.S. then there is one. Find it. I would hire a private detective to get it. We need O linemen. Find this boy’s birth certificate now.

Sorry, but all the soft-hearted liberals will just have to accept the fact that the law was put there for a reason, and it has to be applied equally across the board. No special favors not even for SEC football. There will be some, I’m sure, who will try to circumvent, and do an end run(pardon the pun) and get him in, but if so there should be an uproar. It was put in place to specifically allow others who would have been denied, their proper and EARNED spot in college.

How to find your birth ce
If you want to find information concerning birth certificates, it may be obtained at the Vital
Vital Statistics Office
Pago Pago, American Samoa 96799
011-684-633-1405 (voice)
011-684-633-7910 (fax)
If you want a copy of your birth certificate you need to write the Vital Statistics Office a request letter with the following enclosed.
The request for a birth certificate with your name and your parents name.
A copy of a CURRENTLY VALID STATE ID such as a currently valid drivers licence.
A five dollar MONEY ORDER (no cash and no personal checks) payable to the American Samoa Government.
That should do it.
Note: Since this is a US Territory regular US postal rates apply. If you are in a hurry send the letter via “PRIORITY MAIL.” DO NOT send it via EXPRESS MAIL as there are only two flights in here a week; Monday and Friday nights, and thus it will be no faster than PRIORITY.

U.S. Nationals
U.S. Nationals are those individuals who were born in American Samoa. U.S. Nationals must present an original Social Security card.
In addition, you must present a birth certificate with a certificate of identity.

He can obtain a birth certificate easily enough and I am sure UGA would honor their commitment to him when that is settled if he still desires to go to UGA. I suspect though, that there is some problem involved with that, or he would just get that done and settled. That is why he is looking at other states without that law. I think the law makes good sense, and if he gets his certificate, he could fulfill his dreams of playing at UGA and staying home in Georgia. Unfortunate set of circumstances, for the young man and UGA as well.

It’s a law that should be changed, it’s obviouse all the nice middle class white people are ignorant of the situation. Legal born in the US citizens from legal immigrant families fall through the cracks all the time. Why don’t we set a cutoff of if your family wasn’t here by the French Indian revolution then you can’t be allowed admittance.
the legality of the kid’s citizenship is not in question here so why does he not hav the same opportunities. This reminds me of the little league team in Africa who could not compete in the little league world series because a lot of the poor kids never had birth certificates. Ocassionally that does happen here

East Repeat,
A “non-citizen president”?!? Really? One would have to have their judgement so clouded by hate, prejudice, and ignorance to continue this line of nonsense. So, the line should go, “East Repeat” is a hateful, ignorant racist to whom no amount of reasonable evidence including a copy of the short and long form of his birth certificate, both Hawaiian newspapers printing records of his birth, and the state certifying his birth would prove the citizenship of Barak Obama.
Lastly, this level of hate, ignorance, and racism may gain one such as “East Repeat” political street cred with his tight knit similarly hateful, ignorant, racist friends, but it also loses elections for the party of its believers.

You know what’s funny: All of these simple minded so-called “conservatives.” Since when was immigration a liberal problem heaped on top of this country? Facts!!! Both Democrats and Republicans are bought off by corporations to keep the border open solely to undermine the labor markets and dilute “pure” American voting strength in future generations. If the liberals are so passive, then why has there not been ONE conservative or Republican candidate for any higher office say close the border and deport illegals except Ron Paul, who is really a libertarian? Bush wanted to give them full amnesty. What about all of the Republican lawmakers located in the border states? Americans it’s time to wake up. Obama, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich will not change one thing except lead us (both liberals and conservatives) to another war and continue to give bailouts to banks. Anyway, I do agree with the current immigration policy but I don’t have to be a brainwashed simpleton to understand it’s merits.

The thing I hate most about Obama, is he gives racists like you a leg to stand your platform on. You seem to forget, through a campaign of disenfranchising Blacks, your Justice Dept. has seen fit to dilute the Black voting power in this country. He received almost 70 mil votes. Maybe 15 mil Black people can vote, if they did at all. So who exactly put Obama into office….? Thought so. Your racism gives some ignorant Blacks credence to blindly defend Obama, no matter what. And it makes me sick because NOT ONE U.S. PRESIDENT has ever given a damn about you or me or Bob next door, save Kennedy. If you don’t like Obama, then challenge his policies, not his color, you simpleton idiot. Do you think good ole boy Gingrich is going to restore your country with his $600,000 a month credit line from Tiffany’s? What about 15% taxes Romney? I guess GWB was the best President ever, huh? Let me tell you something. If people who love liberals are just waiting on a hand out and the gravy train, then what are the rest of you who have never served one minute in the Armed Services? Walter you sure know a lot about our President in great detail even. Here is what I know about the man.
Our economy sucks. It is in fact about what we are as a football team since the 2005 season which was 8 years ago now this up-coming season. Our economy has not improved under the President’s plans to spend money, no matter what, to give money away no matter what, and to create government controls – like the 1 which has now cost us an OL for the Four (4) Senior OL all Starters we just lost from last year’s 2011 OL.
Our President has not created any jobs, given away any money to any business owner I can then sell something to as a result, and has in fact created more government controls.
I’m not happy with either where we are as a football program since 2005, which was 8 years ago now this up-coming season, and I have not been happy with what has been happening in the economy the entire time this President of YOURS has been in office.

This statement is ignorant. Presidents cannot create jobs nor facilitate the means to do so. All the President can do is muster government resources to pressure businesses to hire and make banks loan money to these same businesses. However, the FED, which is NOT under the President or the Federal Governments control, has loaned $23 trillion dollars to the Banks since Obama has been President.

People born in American Samoa — including those born on Swains Island — are American nationals, but are not American citizens unless one of their parents is a U.S. citizen. Chip Towers reports that his mother is. And,, his mother reports he was born in the U.S. As U.S. nationals, American Samoans may not vote in U.S. presidential elections. However, American Samoans are entitled to free and unrestricted entry into the United States.
Samoans are entitled to elect one non-voting delegate to the United States House of Representatives. Their delegate since 1989 has been Democrat Eni Fa’aua’a Hunkin Faleomavaega, Jr. They also send delegates to the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.

Michael Carvell, the AJ-C also moved to the left underneath Mark Bradley and Jeff Schultz. He was over on the right under UGA Sports news. This change reflects that he is not in any way UGA Beat-Writer, nor UGA Beat-Writer in-waiting. That is Chip Towers. All I know is that (1) Michael Carvell back when he had his blog on the right side under UGA Sports news, asked a lot of questions and let Chester Brown not tell him the truth. In his rush to publish, he also failed to research. I give Chip Towers credit for the research here, except (2) neither Michael Carvell nor Chip Towers to-date have researched and spelled out this mom who claims to be U.S. Citizen not American National, nor have they either (3) researched and spelled out this statement by the mom, AGAIN, that her child was born in the U.S.
Obviously, (1) the blog by in-fact Michael Carvell on this story is woefully inadequate requiring Chip Towers’ (2) the article referenced in the header of this blog and just as obviously (3) we have nothing to collaborate the stories – both that she is U.S. Citizen nor that her child was born in the U.S.
Reporting is lacking. There is no story here. Yet.

The thing that puzzled me about Obama and caused me to question his basic handling of crises is why he didn’t release his BC immediately. If what he released was real, there wasn’t anything embarrassing in it to cause him to delay.
If he really wasn’t born in Hawaii and wanted to lie to be president, he should not have claimed the two different hospitals as birth locations (a miracle!). He should have claimed a hippie home birth. His mother was wacky enough to have done that.

Tell me this, If Mr. Brown is a U.S. National, and that’s if either of his parents were born in American Samoa and he subsequently was born there (hypothetically), then how does this preclude him from being admitted to Georgia? If what I stated is hypothetically true, then immigration rules do not apply to him. Furthermore, if he was born here, then a birth certificate should be available and it shouldn’t be hard to find. I have a feeling that Mr. Brown was born in Samoa, other than that, it shouldn’t be an issue.

So what I’ve learned on this blog, is if you are not a fan of Obama then your a racist.
No, that is factually not true. It’s just the vocal minority that IS racist is the loudest voice being heard. Unfortunately, when the media played up the “Magic Negroe” concept before Obama was elected, it gave him a “color” cover to hide behind. Because you nor me have enough money to get him re-elected. J.P.Morgan does. Think about it. Why did Bush and his father, to make it short, start two wars just to give EXXON and Chevron better oil deals? I think that $1 billion a month could have been spent on that pipeline you speak of.

This is what happens when legislative bodies pass laws and policies based on past facts. The resulting law or policy’s future effects and application are misdirected and result in unintended consequences. Less than .0017 (that is 17 ten-thousandths), but probably much less, could even have possibly been immigrants to whihc this policy applies. Yet, we wates time a resources far exceeding anything that would have been saved, all in the name of ignorant, myopic, eog-centric Conservative policy. YEEEEEE- HAW. I love how all these immigrant haters come out of the woodwork when there are millions of American citizens who collect an entitlement check for doing nothing. Hey at least they are willing to go out and do work a regular “American” is too good for.
As for the taxes. Nearly half of America pays a net of ZERO in federal income taxes. Everyone pays sales tax. They pay FICA taxes because their employer deducts it from their paycheck. Taxes for entitlements they will not be eligible for since they have no valid SS number.
Frankly the immigrants are paying almost as much in taxes as half of America. As for healthcare last I checked there were plenty of Americans who are using their local ER as their personal healthcare clinic with no insurance or intention of paying for their medical care.

Stop believing what FOX News tells you. The Keystone pipeline is not the panacea that the OIL companies claim. It will only benefit them. These are the same oil companies that make bigger profits as the price of oil goes up while the economy suffers. Oil companies do not want cheap oil, because they price on a margin.

You are not necessarily racist to criticize Obama but you are ignorant. The economy is BETTER now than when he took over by any definition a serious economist would use (Bortz, Slimebaugh, and Hannity are not economists by the way). We were in a recession when Obama took office (meaning we were experiencing negative GDP for a sustained period of time), now we are not- the economy is experiencing positive growth. We were bleeding jobs every month by the hundreds of thousands when Obama took office- now we are adding jobs (especially in the private sector- the opposite of socialism). Y’all need to just step out of the way and say, “thank you” and ride the recovery all the way to the bank. Even the stock market has gone from around 7,000 when Obama took office to around 11,000 today- good for most of our retirement portfolios. Now if you are a birther still trying to define Obama has Muslim (he is a Christian) or a non-Citizen- yes, you are probably racist because there is no other logical explanation for you because it just goes beyond being a regular ignorant idiot. Why did he wait to release his official birth certificate? Because it is insulting that he should even have to. The hospital and the state of Hawaii had already verified his birth there. There were even two newspaper articles announcing his birth. Had any other President ever had to show more to prove where they were born? No. But no other President had been black with a name like his. Go Dawgs!

@TallaDawg, Obama doesn’t make profits from expensive oil? You need to research his connections with George Soros and all the foreign oil holdings of Soros.
The Keystone Pipeline would be paid for by a Canadian company and would create about 20,000 good paying American jobs just to build and operate it. Any easy to get oil will lower the cost of gas more than importing via oil tanker from OPEC.
Don’t be ignorant.

I really DO NOT care if I OFFEND anyone – so here it goes:
This is not a UGA or a state of Georgia LAW issue.
It is the fact that people are taking advantage of this country and our tax payers by being here illegally or not doing the proper documents to avoid whatever.
This is a personal accountability issue to live within the framework that we are all supposed to live by.
The young girl at Kennesaw State flaunted the fact that she was illegal.- acted arrogant – acted that she was entitled. BULLS**T.
In my opinion, she should have been kicked out of this country – and then she and her family could have applied properly to have the honor to work in live in the USA.
I do not know Chester Brown’s story and circumstance – and hate it that he had earned opportunity for a college education with a football scholarship. If his family had done the right thing – been accountable – then he would not be in this situation. This falls back on his family.
I LOVE hearing success stories of people immigrating to the USA and becoming successful and raising their standard of living. God bless them all.
I HATE hearing stories of people coming in or living here illegally – and then complaining that their lifes are ruined due to immigration laws. This is on them – not this country or state.
No one is entitled.
I wish this young man a great future. It seems to me that it is more important that this family concentrate on obtaining the proper visas, documents, or getting a resolution to whatever the situation is.
For all of you mamby pamby’s out there – grow up – and reach out to your fellow man to help them – but help them in a legal fashion where they can be here in this country legally so that they can pursue their dreams.

Big government is killing charities and the spirit of giving and sharing.
@Ogeechee Dawg, I have not read anywhere that Chester or his family are flaunting the immigration laws, being arrogant like that entitled chick in Kennesaw, or even complaining. From what I have read, Chester would have been a great asset to UGA even if he didn’t play football. His grades are good, and he seems to have a good character from all his quotes that I have read.
I don’t think he is out for special treatment, but I think we should give it to him. He is an exceptional exception and and asset to our state. We should have exceptions for special cases. To be rigid and legalistic will result in a big grey monolithic and uncaring iron curtain communist style hell that we saw in Russia and in North Korea.

It’s shocking that people actually support that guy.I have to admit that I used to proudly call myself a conservative back in my 20’s and 30’s.Over the years I have learned that the leaders of the movement are just out to get rich just like every one else in that game. There may be a few true believers out there but it won’t take them long to become corrupt along with the rest.

This is not a bad law and policy, it is a necessary law and policy designed to ensure the interests of the citizens of this State prevail over self-serving people seek to subvert the rule of law to advance their selfish interests.
If this kid wants to attend UGA he needs to get his paperwork in order. Otherwise, he needs to go elsewhere. It’s that simple. My daughter attended UGA on a HOPE scholarship – she was required to prove her identity and eligibility, and that took a considerable amount of paperwork.
I have no patience for the people who believe it’s OK to spend my taxdollars in whatever unlawful way they want. In this case they have been defeated politically, and we as citizens need to ensure it stays that way.

And just to let you all know, Most Blacks are conservative but they vote Democrat. Why? Because in capitolism and the economics of scarcity, there is only so many resources to go around. Regardless of country, if the majority race controls the keys to economic power, just who do you think gets the lion’s share of those resources? This is just plain common sense. It’s a game of musical chairs. Blacks are not afraid of work, and in fact, they crave it because they are in control of their money, not DFACS. There are not enough jobs left open for minorities and the ones that are left open often are not enough to make ends meet. Who is doing all of these service jobs and jobs of servitude? Blacks and Hispanics. So when the Eric Cantor’s of the world we are going to take your handout away, then not only is it insulting, but it’s downright scary for those who have children to feed and clothe. So, Black people say, “Fine, take away the welfare, just give me a job that pays well enough for me to take care of myself.” In short, the system we have developed has created a need for a social safety net. There is no way every single adult over the age of 18 can and will find work in America. There is no way every single American can go to college, get a bachelor’s degree, and find a job. The biggest insult to me, spoken by both Democraps and Repukes, is that the people took out loans they knew they could not afford and the banks allowed it. That’s simply not true. When has anyone ever gotten a home with a low credit score and no proof of income was required? It takes damn near a 750 score to get a no document loan. No, what the Banks knew, was they were sending that job overseas.

That’s because before the British came and tried to “civilize” Kenya, everything got screwed up. So please excuse the Kenyans for living in natural law, the law God or whoever the creator is gave them. There was a time in Europe, before the Roman Empire, when you didn’t need a piece of paper to own a track of land or announce a damn birth.

liberalism and conservativism are both legit points of view and it’s a shame that so many people attack each other like they’re enemies. We are all Americans and believe it or not, a lot alike. Politicans like to focus on our differences to try and divide and conquer and to try and draw a contrast between those in power and those who want to be. The reality is politicans are alot alike just like everyone else is. We want the same things. I wish the people would try and settle differences rather than name-calling and trying to belittle each other. Stop playing into their hands. Stop letting differences define us. Stop name-calling. Stop demonizing. Start orking together and most importantly be humble and come with an open mind.

Easy solution…….
How to find your birth certificate
If you want to find information concerning birth certificates, it may be obtained at the Vital Statistics Office.
Just fill out the paper work and prove that he or his parents are US Samoan.

In all likelihood there is no legitimate path or “proper channels” for him to get U.S. “citizenship”. It cracks me up when folks think people are illegal simply because they haven’t walked into the local immigration office and asked them to print up a green card for them……

What part of this tells you that McCain was not born on US Ground and able to be President?
John McCain was born on August 29, 1936 at Coco Solo Naval Air Station in the Panama Canal Zone, to naval officer John S. McCain, Jr. (1911–1981) and Roberta (Wright) McCain (b. 1912). At that time, the Panama Canal was under U.S. control.

May I suggest you google Lowell Weicker and “The Bingham Amendment” before you blithely assert that a child born to US citizens abroad is eligible to be President.

I do not have a problem with people wanting to work any job they can get to support themselves or there family. Citizen or none citizen. But damn it pay TAXES on you income as I do! The biggest problem is the none citizens have more “rights” then citizens. And to the ones living off my TAX dollars I will be happy to trade them to Mexico for the ones who want to come here and work. I do know the south Georgia farmers rely heavily on illegals to work there farms and I do not disagree with them. But if you work pay your Taxes!

It appears he is undocumented, not illegal. As to all of you “how can he be undocumented if he’s not a US citizen” crowd, the answer is simple. “S#!t happens.” But of course, you guys think if something hasn’t happened to you, it hasn’t happened to anybody. This presumption that the finite possibilities you have experienced are all possibilities that exist is a real hindrance to this nation’s progress as leader of the free world.

“each of them pays American taxes”
They do not. You know nothing about that which you spout on the Internet. My neighbor is here and has no green card. Neighbor has lived here for 8 years. Neighbor pays NO INCOME TAX WHATSOEVER, while every penny of what I make is reported to the IRS. Repeatedly, I have said to said neighbor how very unfair that is. Neighbor is afraid of US Govt. US Govt sent neighbor letter stating neighbor can not drive in the US. Neighbor owned a truck. Neighbor was able to get insurance. Neighbor sold truck. Neighbor takes taxi to and from work daily.
Now, if we had a FLAT TAX, then neighbor – “each of them pays American taxes” – would pay taxes on purchases by neighbor.
Neighbor has recently purchased a 200-acre farm in home country. Neighbor exported said truck to home country. Neighbor also exported $ 8,000 4-wheeler for said farm in home country. Neighbor has a STAFF here in America where there are 3 people on Neighbor’s payroll. Neighbor takes out NO TAXES from ANY of the 3’s PAY. NONE. Neighbor left to home country 23 December. Neighbor returned home here a few hours ago on 1/25 – gone over a month. Home purchased and paid for in full here, just sat there, and if I didn’t clean up some, it would have all that trash and all those leaves blowing all over my yard, so I did right by the Neighbor.
Don’t come in here and tell me “each of them pays American taxes.”

Josh Harvey-Clemons and Avery Young are rumored as Silent Commits by CEO. Well, Avery Young I could see seeing us – losing 4 Senior Starters on the OL – as a place he can play Freshman Year, then 2 more and go to the NFL.
Josh Harvey-Clemons eyes the Senior-laden Defense of Todd Grantham for 2012 and says, oh, I will be redshirted as OLB. Yes, he would be. We need him a lot more for 2012 class than he needs us. We don’t want to go into next 2013 season staring at the 11 for sure who go pro after the season, all of whom have or will Start. And, there is an outside possibility that with good seasons, 12 Starters on Defense 2012 leave to the NFL.
Where does that leave Josh Harvey-Clemons here at UGA ? Well, it leaves him mop-up duty 2012 here, if not redshirted. Linebacker at UGA is a major need for us 2012 ? Well, it is from the point of view we need some for the departing either 11 or 12 after the 2012 season. Is he going to beat out a guy who is going to the NFL after 2012, during this up-coming 2012 season ? No.
Instead of all this hype about a OLB who really has a clear view that he isn’t playing, or isn’t playing much here 2012, at a position we are stacked at for 2012, what we should be talking about is there are
NO SECONDARY COMMITMENTS AT ALL WHATSOEVER
4 SENIOR-STARTERS GONE OFF THE OL FROM 2011
This is where the news has to come from in the next 6 days. We have a great FB coming in. We have our Team Captain and 4,000 yard gainer already here practicing and then gone after 3 seasons, graduated. We have our QB whom everyone knows will play every snap of every game, and 1 opponent at most of all the regular season games who ends the season in the top 25. We have TE left over. We have WR set. Our entire Defense could not be finer. We have a great kicker and a great punter on the way. We are told, although no one to decide whom and no one to teach them anything, that we finally will not be playing WALK-ONS ON SPECIAL TEAMS whom Mark Richt gave Scholarships to who never play Offense or Defense, none of them.
What do we need ?

You folks that say “stupid law” really have as issue living in a country with a foundation the respect of law. Seems like you would best be served in a place that told you everything to do and law wasn’t an issue. Me personally love the new law. If a person can’t show his or her legal status, they get no assistance from the state, such a s the hope grant. Even in high school they should not be living off the backs of legal citizens. But the legality of an immigrant is a none issue with you. You idiots are putting football way ahead of just plain the right thing to do.
All in the name of football? Unreal.

Chris- it obviously doesn not matter if your middle name is the same as a known terrorist who we’ve been fighting, your birth in this country is about as sketchy as crack head, and you don’t stand for the pledge of allegiance as long as your black. If John Hitler Smith were running this year and he sat on his butt for the Pledge do you think he would stand a chance??? Didn’t think so.

Dawg48,
“But damn it pay TAXES on you income as I do! ”
They do pay their taxes. Anybody has to pay taxes whenever you shop in any store.
I agree some of them may not pay their income taxes, but that’s a chicken and egg thing, because they are illegal they cannot or the employer cannot or they both are in trouble.
Another thing, most illegal immigrants make so little money, I don’t even want to get into their pockets to cut $7-10/hr wages. They can barely feed their families.

Chester, if you are reading these comments on this blog and others dealing with UGA athletics, if somehow your situation is worked out and you are able to attend UGA, PLEASE SERIOUSLY CONSIDER NOT GOING TO UGA if you are fortunate enough to have other options.I cant speak for other team’s sports blogs because I dont read them, but a great number of UGA blogs get out of hand, and this one here just takes the cake. So many of you are so misinformed, so many of you simply watch tv and formulate your opinions and views on what they tell you. How a football blog turns into a bashing of our President baffles me. You UGA fans are an embarrasment to the university. You throw athletes under the bus, kids at that, when the dont do something heroic to win you a football game, a game in which you contributed nothing too. You bash kids who choose to go elsewhere to pursue there careers. You all are flip floppers and very wishy washy. Alot of you all are worse than teenage girls obsessing over boy bands when it comes to you and high school recruiting and college football. Alot of you are grown men with grown children, and your pouring so much emotion into a game, which involves teenage boys, and you get so angry at these kids. You all make your ASSumptions bashing kids about things that you dont know about, just like you all did Chester before you knew the real reason as to why he wasnt coming. Some of you need to look up the definition of FANATIC, because thats what alot of you are. If I was any kid and there parents, and I read these UGA blogs, I would seriously consider sending my child or attending a university in a city and with a fanbase that is as deranged and awful and sad as many of you are. You all are great at building up a kid, only to tear him down when he doesnt meet you all’s expectations. I will pray for these kids, UGA, and this country, because it is taking on a tone that is scary for the future. God bless

I’ve read enough and can’t take it anymore. Its a tradegedy that this kid has found himself in this situation and it seems very unfair. But who said life is fair? We are not promissed success or opportunity through our constitution, we are promissed the pursuit. Our country is in a state of disarray and we no longer can afford to “prop up” illegals that do not play by the rules. Our schools, hospitals, etc are paid for by taxes. These taxes are paid by 40% of Americans. I understand some people’s desire to see a kid be successful, but it is not a right. The biggest disconnect, as I see it, is that some believe (as our President does) that we have to be “fair” in regards to the outcome, while others believe we should have the same opportunties from the onse with the results being up to the individual, not the government. There’s no greater story than an immigrant coming here (legally), working hard, and then assimultating into society and contributing the overall good of our country. That is what America has historically been about. However, you cannot support an idea where success is a birth right and an open door policy where anyone can come here to exploit our resources with no intention of becoming “Amercian” but would rather change the system and the ways of life that made this country what it is today.
Illegal immigrants did not build this country. Socialist did not build this country. Legal immigrants and capatalist did.

Why all the fuss about a prospect that has the label project written all over him. This just shows how desperate Richt and his pitiful coaching staff are at evaluating and recruiting in state talent. UGA is always the last to offer instate big time prospects because Garner and the rest of the UGA staff are arrogant lazy ass coaches. They think because UGA is the major instate school they can sit around and wait until they are ready to go after these kids. Unfortunately for Garner, RIcht and Bobo, the instate kids know how pathetic the UGA program has become the past 4 or 5 years, and they would rather go elsewhere to Auburn, Bama, Fl, and now even S.C. It is a SAD day for UGA when the school can’t even find 25 talented kids to commit. That is a direct reflection of how GOD awful this staff is at recruiting. When you have as many talented kids in your state as Ga. does, and this bunch of losers can’t get 25 kids that want to play for them, well that’s all you need to know about RIcht. Hell, Bama has more kids committed for 2012 from the state of ga.than does UGA. Richt should be fired today, as well as the pitiful staff he has hired. That is a disgrace, and it has never happened before in this state. But hey,UGA fans congrats on keeping your wonderful coach, and his lazy ass staff. You will never win a conference championship when you are having to beat kids from the state of Ga. that are stars on rival teams. Wakeup McGarity, grow a pair and end this mediocrity that is known as UGA football. A coach is judged by wins, recruiting, and hiring a competent staff to coach up the players the school recruits Richt fails at 2 of the 3 above, bottomline he needs to go. He can’t win, he hires incompetent coaches, and now he can’t even recruit in his home state

I guess he might have taken a place from a 121 lb female english major, um I wonder if she might be good on the offensive line. Yeah that would work, no self respecting guy would try to hit her.
