UGA freshman Keith Marshall challenges veteran Malcolm Mitchell to a foot race and . . .
So those of you who are pretty wired in via Twitter and Facebook have probably already seen the video of new Georgia tailback Keith Marshall racing rising sophomore wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell on Woodruff Practice Fields recently. If you missed it, I’m happy to provide it HERE.

First, a little background. Apparently this was the third time these two young football stars raced in a 40-yard dash. The first time, Mitchell reportedly won and quarterback Aaron Murray didn’t get to see it and he complained about it. So they did it again the other day, with Murray shooting video and wide receiver Chris Conley providing color commentary.
Spoiler alert: Marshall, who supposedly came to Georgia with a 4.3-second 40-yard time (and similar GPA), wins the last two races by an eyelash. But I would suspect Bulldogs’ fans are more intrigued just by the fact Marshall was willing to compete against one of the teams’ established stars. Says a little something about his competitive nature, I’d say.
Mitchell, of course, emerged as one of the Bulldogs’ most explosive offensive threats as a true freshman this past season and finished as the Bulldogs’ second-leading receiver with 45 catches for 665 yards despite missing three games due to injury. Marshall is a 5-star prospect and the No. 1-rated running back in America, according to Scout.com. He enrolled early at UGA.
Anyway, just wanted to throw it out there for any of you folks who might have missed it. Besides, considering Mitchell’s problems with a hamstring injury last season, I suspect the coaches have seen this and already shut down the race track. I’m just guessing but, as Apollo Creed said in the first Rocky, “ain’t gonna be no rematch.”

The Will Mushamp thing is working fine at FL oh after one year you are making that statement. Give FL our schedule this past year and they are much better, we barely won against a FL team that had a one legged QB and a failed OC who I might add is gone. Unlike inept coach’s at UGA who hang on for years like Willie Martinez and Bobo. Oh FL won its bowl game unlike Richt who couldnt even beat UCF last year

Flat Tire Chucky Gruden is a pill of a personality, but he would listen if UGA came calling. He is what you need to compete with Spurrior, Saban, and Miles. He would like that challenge I think.

2010 was 2 seasons ago, I think most have put the UCF game behind them.Didn’t Richt fire Martinez and Hire grantham? Didn’t Florida play a 6-7 Ohio State team or do you think they would’ve beat Mich. State? Would you feel better if Richt had scored on the last drive vs Fla. to Make it 31-20 instead of 24-20.? The only reason Weis is gone from fla. was to take a head coaching position, Who hired Weis, wasn’t it Little Willie Muschchamp? check out dalton santos number one inside linberbacker in the nation 6′2” weighed in at 250 at the under armor game. This kid is tennessee’s number one recruit but the coaches who recruited him left for washington university. UGA offered him this evening. The kid runs a 4.6 40 yd dash. #93 rated player in the country on espn. He has opened his recruitment back up and georgia jumped right in there. Check him out this kid would be a huge get for us he is out of Van, Texas and also competes on his high school track team on 3 relay teams that were region champions in the 4×400 and 4×100 that says alot about his speed. started in the under armour game

Florida fans would not want Richt just because he coached at Georgia. Auburn would not want Saban me personally I would not want Saban. When it is all said an done Alabama “Saban” will be under investigation by the NCAA.

I think if you go look at the senior and jr ratio to freshmen and sophomore ratio of the Boise st UGA game it will speak for itself. Boise st was a team mostly of seniors compared to what Georgia put on the field. They have plaid together for four years or more in the same system. Boise St was a better team.

LSU should’ve fire Miles after 2008 and 2009. he had a losing record vs top 25 teams.Chizik should be fired he as a losing record vs top 25 teams. Steve Spurrier should be fired he has a losing record against top 25 teams.Florida is 2-10 vs top 10 tens over last 3 years.Richt has a winning record vs every SEC team except Florida and LSU 3-4. But according to you any time Georgia beats someone is because they’re not good.

Would Saban allowed a kid (for example) Albert Hollis a RB that never played a snap at Georgia be cause he blew his knee out in practice a chance to finish school and his senior year walk out of the stadium on senior day with his team?
Or how he just did the RB that was the 6th kid to commit to Bama this year and now pull his schools from him and offer him a grey shirt just to run him off.

LSU got lucky in the first game verses Bama that Bama missed all those field goals.
Bama got lucky that okie st played the worse game of there season and Iowa st played the games of there lives. Or bama would not have played in the NC game.
