UGA vs. Michigan State in Outback Bowl; homecoming for Murray, Charles

Georgia and Michigan State, both with 10-3 records and losses in their conference championship games, will meet Jan. 2 in the Outback Bowl in Tampa.

The matchup was set Sunday, one day after Georgia lost 42-10 to No. 1 LSU in the SEC Championship game and Michigan State fell 42-39 to Wisconsin in the inaugural Big Ten title game.

Georgia was among three SEC teams, along with South Carolina and Arkansas, that were in the running for the Capital One, Outback and Cotton bowls.

Orlando’s Capital One Bowl, which had the next choice of SEC teams after LSU and Alabama were tabbed for the BCS national title game, selected South Carolina. The Gamecocks (10-2, 6-2 SEC) finished second to Georgia in the SEC East, but defeated the Bulldogs 45-42 in Athens on Sept. 10.

The Outback and Cotton bowls, equals in the SEC’s bowl pecking order, were next in line to make selections from the league. The Outback preferred the East team (Georgia) and the Cotton the West team (Arkansas).

The Outback, which will kick off at 1 p.m. and be televised on ABC, will be a homecoming for two of Georgia’s top players, quarterback Aaron Murray and tight end Orson Charles, who were teammates at Tampa’s Plant High School.

“Heading home for the Outback Bowl!” Murray said Sunday night via Twitter.

“It’s a great destination for our student-athletes and our fans –- warm weather, wonderful attractions, a first-class stadium -– and we look forward to competing against a great Michigan State team,” Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity said in a statement. “Our fans have been a big part of our success this season, and I’m confident they will support the team with attendance in this bowl game.”

Michigan State is ranked ahead of Georgia in the latest polls, released Sunday. The Spartans are No. 12 in the Associated Press poll and No. 13 in the USA Today coaches’ poll, while the Bulldogs are No. 18 in both.

While Georgia won the SEC East, Michigan State won the Big Ten’s Legends division. Both teams were 7-1 in regular-season league play.

This is the 15th consecutive season that Georgia has reached a bowl. The Outback is a step up in the bowl landscape from the Bulldogs’ destinations the past two seasons, the Independence Bowl in 2009 and the Liberty Bowl last year.

Georgia and Michigan State have met twice previously in football, with Georgia winning both times.

The first meeting was in Jacksonville’s Gator Bowl at the end of the 1988 season. Georgia won that game, Vince Dooley’s last as the Bulldogs’ coach, 34-27.

The other meeting was in the Capital One Bowl at the end of the 2008 season. Georgia won 24-12 in the final college game for quarterback Matthew Stafford and tailback Knowshon Moreno. Stafford threw three touchdown passes in the second half, the last one to Moreno.

“This promises to be a great match-up,” Michigan State athletics director Mark Hollis said in a statement. “The last time these two teams met … the outcome wasn’t decided until the fourth quarter, so we anticipate another competitive game.”

Georgia has played in the Outback Bowl three times previously, winning all three, while this will be Michigan State’s first trip to the Tampa game.

Michigan State seemed on the cusp of a potential game-winning touchdown in Saturday’s Big Ten title game when the Spartans returned a Wisconsin punt inside the 5-yard line with less than two minutes to play. But a running-into-the-punter penalty negated the return and gave Wisconsin a first down, ensuring its victory and a Rose Bowl berth.

Georgia coach Mark Richt and Michigan State coach Coach Mark Dantonio will discuss the Outback matchup in a joint media teleconference Monday.  In a news release from the bowl Sunday night, Richt was quoted: “… Playing a top quality opponent like Michigan State will be a challenge we’ll look forward to.”

Both teams rank in the nation’s top five in total defense. Georgia is No. 3, allowing 268.5 yards per game, and Michigan State is No. 5, giving up 272.7 yards per game.

I don’t know if this is true but someone tweeted last night that Texas A&M is expecting their 2012 SEC schedule to be as follows:

Home: Bama, Florida, LSU and Ark
Away: Ole Miss, Auburn, Ms St and Mizzou

Welcome to the SEC!

This is the time of year that changes are made. First with all the problem’s we have had with our last 7 or 8 running back’s , McClendon is not the answer for a top 10 program. I don’t think there is any argument there.
The next problem that must be addressed is for someone to be the special team’s coach . If Belin had stayed at Georgia I feel Georgia may have been undefeated this year. Special team’s lost every game that we lost except the Boise State game. What lost the Boise State game was when Ogletree went down Grantham didn’t quite have his defense tweaked yet. They could not have beaten Georgia late in the season. Turnover didn’t help.
Now for the players: Murray has got to prove he can play under pressure without turning the ball over. CMR and Bobo has got to put strict guidelines on Murray and make him more disciplined and less inconsistent. As much praise as Murray get’s the Quarterback position need’s to be won or lost in practice this spring . Murray has got to earn the starting job for next year. Get one or two bigger running back’s that can run up the middle, 5′ 6″ running back’s are not going to get the job done in the SEC, and shore up the offensive line. I hope part of the problem will be solved today if Marshall sign’s with Georgia . We may have to go to the Jr. College route for the offensive line.
The final problem is can the Freshman punter and kicker that have committed for 2012 get the job done. I can’t get any information as to how they did their last year in high school.
Our defense next year will be one of the best in college football . If we get our offense problems handled Georgia will stay in the top 10 all season next year. Grantham has my vote as coach of the year as far as the defense go’s. WE ARE NOT FAR OFF FROM BEING A GREAT TEAM.

“As much praise as Murray get’s the Quarterback position need’s to be won or lost in practice this spring . Murray has got to earn the starting job for next year.”

Do you think Richt or Bobo will EVER pull Murray? It will never happen. Murray will continue as QB as long as he is there because CMR believes in being loyal. Just like he is loyal to Bobo and was loyal up to the breaking point with Martinez.

No. I actually said that Alabama was the BETTER TEAM the last time you played them. So, bandwagon. You have a set number of responses. You plug them in whoever you speak with, like I said it. You are a complete liar, utterly. You act like LSU is so great when it looked to me like Alabama should have won and all you can say is neither of their kickers could catch a cold. Excuse me. Nick Saban has been doing what about that since that game ? You don’t have a clue bubbette. You have not posted to this blog before LSU week. You showed up. You logged in. You posted away. You never read 1 post. Nor 1 reply. Now, that you won, you act like what you said pre-game about us is what we were saying to you. No. That is not what was said, but you didn’t read the replies and now you do. Fine read away. Post here for all I care. Stay here until 9 January when you lose to Bama. Your offense stinks to high heaven. You have no business talking in here about how you are going to beat Bama. You have NO HOPE. I have always enjoyed my conversations with LSU fans FOREVER. You are the 1st and only ever to totally turn me off son. PurpleNGold, grow up. Your team is NOT NC this year. 2007 yes, you beat 2 top 10 teams and we beat NONE. You win straight up no questions about it. If you ever want to know what real Bulldogs’ football fans think, sit back, quit trying to have the conversation be all about you, and learn about UGA football. We’ve played football toe-to-toe with LSU for 119 years. We have our advantages and you yours. In the Les Miles and in the Nick Saban years, you have been better than us. In the Mark Richt era, your superiority over UGa is unquestioned.

Then, you run in here like I said, not someone else, me like I said we are better than LSU. STFU. No, I take that back. Say whatever you will.

You STILL LOSE TO BAMA.

Your wide-eyed BRAGGING about LSU this season, is OVER when you lose. And, you LOSE.

Come brag about them in here and that is ALL I will tell you son.

My bet is that Lemay will get a strong look in the spring.

I would not be surprised to see a change in OC either once the season is done. Bobo will most likely still be on staff but either richt calls plays or hires an OC

People underestimate McGarity. He is very precise in his words. He has said we will wait til the end of the season and evaluate.

It’s past the breaking point with Bryan McClendon; it’s past the breaking point with no special teams’ coach; it’s past the breaking point with walk-ons on special teams; it’s past the breaking point with 33 scholarships Mark Richt gave out to play vs LSU who DID NOT and who are JUST GONE; it’s past the breaking point with the players running roughshod over Mark Richt such as his headliner Isaiah Crowell turning his back on Mark Richt at the game on the sidelines directly in front of my seats for us all to talk about our disgust of that right then right there; it’s past the breaking point on Mike Bobo; and it is past the breaking point NOT BEATING THE GOOD TEAMS and sprinkling in a loss or 2 to teams who we SHOULD NOT HAVE LOST TO.

Old Dog, it’s WAY PAST the breaking point. Read your posts to THIS BLOG and see the other 34 posters like yourself, all of us saying the same point. Even the Mark Richt supporters say that they too have noted that for the last entire six (6) years that the direction is NOT THERE with Mark Richt.

Well, I have been looking for the idiot that predicted a UGA win by the score of 56-0, but since he is obviously an uneducated jerk, I guess he will crawl back into his hole. Now, I did predict a close game score of 31-13, and a NOT SO CLOSE score of 45-10. Paul Finebaum called out all the puppy dog fans Saturday, calling the Dawgs a fraud champion of the East. LSU merely proved him right. They had no business in that game. The Defense played good for awhile, but… they forgot that the game is 60 minutes, not 25 minutes. They spent almost 37 minutes standing on the sidelines, and were worn down by the LSU offense. So much for the new strength & conditioning coach. Even the former star, Buck Belue, railed on the team, saying there needs to be changes in recruiting. Dream Team??? More like nightmare team. The only one that benefited from all this is CMR. He will get an extension and a fat raise. Worst thing that could have happened to the football team.

Well, Old Dog, you might wait until the end of next season.

At that point, will not have beat any team ranked in any poll that day either, not that year, not the year before that, not the year before that and will have been 8 years since we beat a team who finished in the top 10.

But, me thinks in the meantime, that you will come back and share your special knowledge, as mine too, of Bulldogs when we DID BEAT TOP FOOTBALL TEAMS.

Nowadays, all we care about is SAYING WE ACHIEVED 10-Win season in a 14-game SEASON, meaning we missed out on 4 wins.

We played 4 teams this year who will end up in the top 25, including Michigan State.

Fully, as Albert Einstein said, this will be a LOSS, too.

Personally, I am fed up with it.

Totally.

For those that believe that BAMA will win over LSU, they are wrong. While I might not agree with the way some bloggers, like purplengold, look at LSU (as if they’ve never been unworthy – hello, Gerry Dinardo); it’s pretty clear that LSU is the team to beat. Sitting in the dome rooting for Georgia on Saturday was a bit disappointing since I’d already felt like I knew the outcome would be as it was. I certainly wasn’t crying in my corn flakes…that’s for sure. Yea, if UGA wouldn’t have kicked off to the Honey Spanker and actually would have caught the 2 TD passes it was supposed to (and made that missed FG), you’d be looking at a game that was more like 35 to 28 or 35 to 31…regardless, LSU still was the better team this year. I wouldn’t define it as a shellacking knowing this. If LSU had lost, this blog would be reversed, and bloggers like purplengold would be supposedly “crying in his corn flakes”…but at the end of the day, he isn’t. We have nothing to cry about because if you’d told me that we’d go 10-3 at the beginning of the season, I’d say you’re on drugs. I’m not jumping off the bandwagon and despite what short-term memory fans might think, it’s not like LSU will never lose to UGA again. Every team goes up and down. Georgia will have LSU’s number again, just like it did in 2005. And LSU will have Georgia’s number again, just like this year. That’s why we call it college football.

I presume Chip Towers is on Vacation ? I wrote more about Keith Marshall show I watched in entirety, over on Jeff Schultz blog – where Jeff makes the point that as UGA fans we turned sour on Isaiah Crowell’s antics on and off the field, and now Jeff Schultz says what if Keith Marshall is the same ? Well, that isn’t going to happen. Jeff knows that. He is stretching. This is the UGA blog. We deserve to have had a blog here on a timely basis.

Keith Marshall wanted to come here because “Mark Richt is a man of God.” I don’t have to quess or wonder why he chose UGA. He said his dad who was drafted by the Denver Broncos as a running back, after running for over 4,000 yards at James Madison – a good school and a good football school too, gives Keith Marshall hope that he can surpass 4,000 yards at UGA. He’ll have 3 years to do that. $1,300 yards including freshman season required. If we don’t play in SEC Championship Game, that is 102 yards per game every game for 3 solid years.

A young person has to have goals. Obviously, Keith Marshall is a perfect complement to the current tailbacks Bryan McClendon has brought here for Mark Richt and Rodney Garner. Rumored as fast as in the 4.23 range for 40-yard dash, all I know is he is fast. He’s not big at 5′ 10″ 190 lbs., but a RB does not have to be big, in fact the best running backs are typically not 5′ 6″ small or 165 lbs. small but small can be an advantage if you are just under the size of a big RB. What is the common thread among the RB at UGA after Knowshon Moreno ? Keith Marshall is the complete opposite.

I listened intently to his mom and to his dad, both very well spoken, about how they raised Keith Marshall studying his academics and how they monitored academics with him, telling him that : “Success is who you are, not what you do.”

His Dad is bigger than he is. This is a big huge hole we need, as noted. John Theus is on the OL ahead of him. He made no notice of John Theus, but I would think some other players will want to join him here.

We need to give up some other position coach, and get us a Special Teams’ Coach from the NFL. I know his 1st move would be to open up every special teams’ position to everyone on the team who wants to play special teams.

We need, and should now have an opportunity, to sign another FB like the one we have coming in next year. We need a big Safety. We need to go the NFL and pay for an Offensive Coordinator. There have been way too many games against the top teams, where we give up consecutive scoring runs of 31, 29, 42, and 42 points. Games where the offense was a no-show as if asleep for long periods of just wearing down our defense, while our special teams’ flopped on their collective faces. All 3 phases during very poor.

Bryan McClendon, Keith Marshall tried to call at 1:45 after he called Mark Richt, but he was on a plane. So, he called him right after the announcement and before his personal interview on Fox Sports for a half-hour I watched in entirety.

I know why Keith Marshall came here. NC, NC State, Weak Forest, Duke, those are not football schools. So, # 1 out-of-state. 2, he has always been a Bulldog. 3, he is a Christian. 4, he said Mark Richt is a man of God. 5, he prayed about this decision and was confident and clear about it. 6, he really likes Bryan McClendon. 7, we don’t have a full complement of RB and Keith Marshall stated that he “wants to come to UGA and have an immediate IMPACT as a freshman” but that would be up to the coaches.

Mark Richt can recruit. Bryan McClendon can recruit. Recruiting is the lifeblood of any college football program. We have additional needs in OC, Special Teams’ coach, FB, big secondary players, about 4 top OL, and a consistency in our Offense.

Did you have some point about that ?

I see Aaron Murray has been determined to be the best quarterback in The SEC by no one yet.

Cherry Picker

December 7th, 2011

We need this (or that) new recruit.

We need a new OC.

We need to play the backup QB.

We need a different offensive scheme.

We need a special teams coach.

We need to improve the off-season strength and conditioning program.

We need to get serious about discipline.

We need an easier OOC schedule.

We need etc., etc., etc.

No… What we need to do, after 11 long years, is to face the ugly truth and hire a Head Coach who doesn’t need the fans to tell him how to run Georgia’s football program. Either that, or we need to stop all the bitching and just accept the fact that we’re a mediocre, second tier SEC football program.

4.29 GPA

December 7th, 2011
7:21 am

Well, of course, I believe that this football program of mine does need the input of the fans. We have brought about great changes for the better around here. Yes, the items you list are a great beginning point for our needs, and no I don’t believe that Mark Richt has demonstrated a great grasp of these specific areas you delineate.

I don’t believe that there is any manner or form you can dream up to try to paste The # 11 college football program all-time in WINS as mediocre, Second Tier SEC program. There are only 2 others with more SEC Championships than ourselves and 1 of them is ahead by one SEC Championship alone.

We haven’t been close now for years.

We could be closer now. We haven’t done well in recruiting for 2012 but adding yet another long-term Bulldog fan of Keith Marshall’s caliber should assist significantly.

Aaron Murray is not a bad quarterback. He just isn’t the best yet. He has specific areas which our OC and head coach just haven’t addressed successfully yet. If we can add some more OL, we will have a fun time over the Summer discussing our Future. There are other needs FB we got 1 of, big secondary players, but honestly, talent is not the problem with not beating the top teams. Michigan State is a top team; maybe not the elite top team, but top team enough that our practices now have to be focused to get our special teams and running backs in a short-term better situation. This season is over. It has largely been one of not beating the top teams and having a full year’s worth in a row of bad press off the field because of players that have been run out of the program. Those scholarships need to be converted not to walk-ons who will come here anyway, but to more Keith Marshall players. Keith Marshall himself should be a huge big advantage in this area along with John Theus to get these others.

You cannot argue with Mark Richt’s recruiting.

Bryan McClendon’s either.

Seriously.

So, we dream on of another year, this one largely wasted against the better teams we played. 1 of those stands out South Carolina whom I know all of us are in agreement, we should have beat. Michigan State is in this same caliber of opponent, if not slightly better than South Carolina.

This season is over. There is the last game at 1pm 4 Mondays from now. I am more focused on next year than I am in seeing what in 4 weeks we can do to fix this team so it can beat a top team. The time for that, was this time last year when we stood firm with a pat hand, which was anything but a pat hand.

Mark Richt, Chip Towers could be right, is going to have to be extended beyond 2 years, from the recruiting stand-point. I would like to add a clause to his contract about paying for beating top teams.

# 11 all-time college football program, UGA, does not have to hold its collective head down to anyone. We just aren’t beating the good teams, and have not been for obvious reasons, many of which you just listed.

Good post good question. I don’t think mediocre is how # 11 all-time program can possibly be resigned to be; maybe striving to take advantage at this time when the ones between us and top 10 all-time are all struggling too; but resigning ourselves to 2nd Tier, isn’t right and I think you admit that ?

As for the head coach. Well, he might not be fully seasoned to be a head coach yet; but, I like him. The recruits love him. I’m not perfect either. Bottom line, is I like the guy. Wish he could beat some top teams, which he really has never done here. He needs to search his own soul and staff for that, and his recruiting of players he then wants to discard. Keith Marshall is a 3-year keeper.

6 out of the last 7 SEC consecutive NC teams have been coached
by carpet bagging Ohio bred coaches, who came South to plunder
the SEC talent, knowing this was an opportunity to gain fame.

Now, one of these carpet bagging coaches has fled back to Ohio
plundering his former SEC team by taking their recruits, coaches,
strength coaches back to Ohio.

I’m ok with that too, with caveats. I want specific wording in extension beyond 2-years and want that now, during this recruiting cycle now – between today and BEFORE the bowl game, to read that wins over teams finishing top 25 get this bonus, and that wins over teams finishing top 10 get this ADDITIONAL BONUS.

And, of course, after the season, after 4 Mondays from now when Greg McGarity finally sits down about the areas for improvement that he intervenes in special teams’ coach and where that position coach can be cut by Mark Richt to open that position up, and that Greg McGarity get down and dirty with Mark Richt about what does and what does not constitute DISCIPLINE. Mark Richt just doesn’t understand it; and, it has nothing to do with HIDING suspensions. In fact, the contrary. I believe Mike Bobo has to replaced, not put down a notch to QB coach. There is no way you could describe the moving forward, teaching, evaluation, training, aspects of our Quarterbacks on this roster, are advancing. If anything, what Aaron Murray brought with him (like Matthew Stafford) has not been added to or improved in this season over last season. 0-8 vs 8 teams who end up top 25 for both seasons is totally unacceptable.

I wonder what the excuses will be if UGA loses to the ” boring” Michigan State?
1. Ref’s
2. They were disappointed with what bowl they got ( the old Alabama/Utah excuse)
3. They needed the big 10 to win a bowl game.
4. All of our RB were in jail
And of course if they win they will claim dominance over college football.
LOL SEC fans are so funny.

Since the New Year’s day falls on Sunday the traditional games will be played on Monday 2ed. As luck would have it I will have to work that day. I know I will DVR the game and ESPN3 doesn’t have the Outback Bowl on their schedule I may not be able to see it live. Anyone know of any sites that will show it?

The way the bulldogs were humiliated against LSU and embarrassed the whole state of Georgia, I can’t believe that dog fans have the nerve to even post comments on this blog.

4.29 GPA – “We just can’t seem to beat the good teams”

Isn’t that the definition of “mediocre”.

“Well, he might not be fully seasoned to be a head coach yet; but, I like him”

After 11 seasons?

4.29 GPA

Yes, after 11 seasons, you either have (1) one year of experience 11 times or (2) you have or could have had a mentor Vincent Dooley, to show him areas of being a head coach which Mark never was before and assist him. We have # 1. Replacement red panties and now tennis player, neither have any experience at this at a major college level. He is figuring out what to try and try it and then try something else.

Specific examples. Coaching staff. 1st, he tried to specifically never hire anyone from the NFL. Said that he believed they are not loyal to program. Instead, we have had poor coaching staff for him, loyal, but haven’t taught the players what they need to know – how to hold a ball running with it for example. 2nd he tried hiring a coach from the NFL and here we are. Now, he might lose him. Ok, he will find another good choice. It happens. Cannot keep the guy down. Good assistants should leave. Happens. If the assistant stays, I believe you could have an issue with them. Now, if you can pay them more money, by all means keep them.

Definition of Mediocre : Yes, 0-8 this entire season and last entire season vs teams who finished top 25, is clearly mediocre – both seasons. This season we averted losing to teams, who if they did not beat Mark Richt, they would not end up in the top 25. That also is definition of a poor loss. Poor losses is mediocre. You might be able to withstand 1 such loss, but not every year. 1 such loss every 2 years is too many. We have 17 in 11 years such poor loses. Thus, yes, very definition of mediocre.

Might jump ahead of you here, Old Dog, but if we are mediocre and we are and have been for many years, by all accounts to this blog for 6 years and counting – that does not mean I support the firing of Mark Richt and his staff as he so chooses them to be today.

I like Mark Richt. Always have.

The man can recruit.

Kids don’t flock to that flop at Georgia tek, Paul Johnson, sitting right here downtown in a city of 6 million – now, do they ?

I know I know we are Georgia and kids like Keith Marshall grow up dreaming being a Bulldog.

I understand that.

I’ve lived here all my life.

I did that.

What I am saying is that Mark Richt cannot be let go. Cannot make it more clear where we are with him. Frustrated, absolutely. But, it is not his fault that Michael F. Adam$ took Vince from him before he ever got to sit down with him and teach him specific skills such as how to hire Erk Russell.

Vince Dooley has hired a ton of Erk Russell coaches to UGA. Mark Richt, for 1. I can name in my years of watching his hires another dozen Mark Richt and Erk Russell coaches he hired to this University, some of which are still here, such as Andy Landers. Many many more.

We just need to provide him, and I believe we owe it to him, hiring him as we did with no coaching experience. We need to teach him these areas.

Look.

If we let him go, he will have gained this knowledge here which he has learned. He will not make the same mistakes at the new place. Or, he might give up his Calling. But, if he doesn’t, he is young. Overpaid, but young. If he is going to go somewhere else and make new mistakes there and not have this issue of his coaching staff hires here which he has been abysmal at, at some new place – I say, then, let him do that here. He has most of a staff who for the most part are ok.

I am not settling for 106 wins in 11 years. Yes, it ends at 106 for 11. His staff and players not forced out demonstrably are not able to project a win over Michigan State. Even if they were, that is 107 wins in 11 years. There were, in fact, 152 available games to have been won. He won 106.

This is not 1966 when 10-1 was # 2 in the nation or even # 1. This is 2011 where 10-Win season is possible and not even be top 25 since there are 26 teams with 10-Win season this season alone.

Consistently, he has 17 out of 44 vs teams finishing top 25 he beat.
He has 3 out of now 14 teams finishing top 10 he has beat.
He has 17 losses to teams none of which would have been top 25 had they not beat him.

At both ends, beating top teams and losing to teams he should not have, he has been mediocre.

Why is it ?

Clearly, 11 years of an average # 52 Total Offense.

Clearly, 11 years of off-field running off of recruits he gets great praise for bringing here. Maybe even the reason why I want him to get his extension now Old Dawg, that he does get great praise for his recruiting.

Clearly, 11 years of losing games he should not have and not beating the top teams.

Sorry, but I like the guy.

We need to teach him that which is obvious he has no clue. Probably the most glaring of which is that Christians forgive, and that ain’t discipline. Discipline is calmly walking over to Isaiah Crowell when he disrespects me and turns his back to me when I am talking to him, holding his hand, walking him to the lockerroom and seeing to it that the Security assists him in removing his uniform and escorting him out of the facility directly to his parents or high school coach or whoever it is.

Then, when that petulant child comes back, I have my say.

Mark Richt has lots of areas where he needs training.

I don’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade, but I like the guy.

As a Tech fan, I was going to come over here an trash talk Crowell. Before I did that, I did a Control F “Crowell” on this page and read some of the hundreds of comments. I don’t need to. You guys have “hanged, drawn and quartered” him already.
Do you remember that “Dream Team” crap you started? This is the fruit of your idolatry.

Wit? What in the blazes would you know about wit ?

A Georgia tek fan, just blistered for 10 of the 11 years of Mark Richt, comes into this UGA blog and has something to say ?

Witless prima facia witless.

Go back to your NCAA PROBATION and call me when you are NOT on NCAA PROBATION.

ok?

Head coach hiring is picking up. That means other head coach job’s have to be hired and a lot of coordinator’s will have to be replaced.
McGarity need’s to make a statement that Grantham is not on the market by giving him at least a 3 year extension and raised up to at least 1 million with bonus’s.
I would also give CMR an extension but with 2 year’s left he can wait but Grantham need’s to be locked in NOW. I for one would like to give Grantham at least 4 more year’s just to see how good our defense can get.

Hey bulldogs! Your team got stomped and humiliated. Your coach was out coached in every way. Be quiet and just own up to it.
