At least some of the credit should go to the way Bobo has handled Murray.

I sure would like everyone that has thrown UGA Dawgs under the bus woulld at least wait until after Saturday’s game with Kentucky. Hell, We don’t know who they will play if they win until after next week-end. It maybe Bama, could be LSU, or what about ARK. That picture is still unclear. Too Damn many Monday mornings QB that don’t know what they are talking about. I’m also concerned about their knowledge of the STATS. concerning those 4 teams. Bama, LSU, Ark.,UGA SAD, SO SAD….They all are in the top 10 in most catagories nation wide. “O”, “D”. “ect”. You don’t have to believe me take the time go to your webb site and look it up and stop running you mouth. You will see. So, In closing I don’t see that much difference in those 4 team. Should be a great game.

@GTBob .. noooo, you would not “easily” make the SEC Championship Bob, you couldn’t even beat UVA who is about a 21 point dog against FSU. You couldn’t beat a mediocre Miami team. So what makes you think you could beat MSU, Florida, Auburn, UT (in Knoxville) or even Vandy for that matter? Prove it on the field by at least beating the teams you THINK you should beat.

Dawgs win the east simply because they are the best football team and have played the best football of anybody in the east. People like to point to schedule but those games were played and won already. GO DAWGS! Beat LSU if for nothing else but to screw the system up even more.

@TampaDawg take it easy on ol GTBob I mean the Bugs gain all those yards and they have the best offense in the galaxy, its just so unfair that people continue to score more points that they do…and lo and behold there is a lunatic fringe in the college football fanbase that think that points are more important that total yards gained…can you believe it??

I’ll say it again. All the haters gave the Dawgs no chance to run the table leading into the SEC championship game. AND THEY KNOW IT! They predicted a second straight loss to MSU. They predicted a loss to UT in Knoxville. They predicted a usual loss to the Gators. They even thought the Dawgs may lose to Vandy and Auburn. MOST of you haters were predicting the dawgs to finish the year at best 8-5. SO now that they are 8-2 with a chance at an SEC title and/or a major bowl game win, a 10 win season all but a lock, and a BCS ranking at the end of the season, all you can talk about is the schedule. GT fans have NOTHING to say about the schedule because you couldn’t even beat the bad teams on YOURS! So don’t talk about ours. Because if you want to compare the ACC to the SEC as a whole, just compare the bowl wins each year since that’s when the teams are playing out of confrerence. Just take a gander at that!!!!!!

@TampaDawg yeah lets not tell ol GTBob not sure he can handle the truth….well that and the 1-9 record the Bugs have posted in the last decade vs UGA. …just as we need to keep this truth firmly in mind we control our own destiny but we have to beat UK they will not forfeit we will have to beat them. Stay focused Dogs!!

Sometimes just beating who you should beat is overlooked. 8 straight wins is what it is and in the SEC or the WAC or any conference i’ll take it. This really is a good team anyone who KNOWS football can see that.

There is all this talk about Georgia playing a soft schedule. The truth is this- An Sec schedule is tough enough for anyone. Not many teams can go through that gauntlet and stay unscathed.. For Ga to go through it only losing once speaks for itself. You cannot say it is because Ga hasn’t played one of the big three in the Sec west. Looks like they will in the SEC Ch game. Then let the chips fall where they may! So all you losers quit whinning!(Ga Tech)

It is really great to talk of “running the table” but there again we still have two more games left. We definitely SHOULD beat KY. and may be favored over GTBob’s team but both are capable of beating us if we don’t get our heads on straight and stay focused. Certainly we want to win both games but the KY game is MUCH more important.

Murray had an “almost perfect game” against Auburn but…………..if he has one of his worst days we could lose to any team left on our schedule. Looking back I noticed that he missed at least 2 or 3 receivers open for touchdowns in every game before Auburn. On his “Auburn: days he should be a frontrunner in the Heisman Trophy race. Addionally, he is a great and tough team leader. He usually finds a way to get it done.

So what makes you think you could beat MSU, Florida, Auburn, UT (in Knoxville) or even Vandy for that matter?
Because those are 5 of the worst teams currently in a BCS conference. One needed a miracle to beat Utah St. Another needed a miracle to beat Louisiana Tech in overtime. Vandy, is just Vandy. UVA and most other teams would easily win that division.

I was wrong. I thought there was no way you could pull me into this mud slinging contest. GTBob, you apparently know all the right hot buttons to bring out the worst of the worst red neck UGA fans.
This is a sports blog. Hate mongering has no place in a spirited debate between opposing teams’ fans. Constructive criticism and viewpoints is one thing; mudslinging is quite another.
I have always been and always will be a Georgia fan. There are days that, because of many of these posts, I almost wish I weren’t. If you are reading this, you are a sports fan. Please don’t disgrace your school/team by posting irrelevant dribble that disses opposing viewpoints.

GTBob: I don’t like to drop-kick a team list this, but after watching Tech several times this season I’m not impressed with the athleticism. Or their ability to play solid defense snap to snap. I know they turned in a good defensive performance against Clemons (on purpose) and the offense was explosive early in the season.
The fact remains that when Tech falls behind, the passing attack is hampered by inadequate pass protection and a QB who is uncomfortable directing a passing attack. UGA may struggle with the basic option package, but if Tech starts trailing by a TD or two they play to the Dawgs strong pass rush and secondary strengths … and that won’t be pretty.
I’ve watched PJ’s teams for years … Georgia Southern, Navy and now Tech. He’s a great coach, with a real flair for finding weaknesses in a defense. However, the talent level he currently has at Tech is more like that at Navy than a major D-I school.
He may or mayn’t have success next week against UGA. I just don’t think it’s going to happen.

Please tell me what UGA Dawgs has done after the FLA game. 62, points against NMS and 75 players played. 45 points against AUB and over 60 players played. It only takes 22 players to play a game. So, it looks like to me there was a lot of sub. playing. Few Starters played much after the half. Say what you will, the Dawgs will be ready. They are dailed in, trust me. Miles of LSU, Saban of Bama want look at the so called soft sechedule. They know this is the SEC and it will be a fight. Remember 5 “NC” from the SEC the last 5 years. Call it soft if you like, I’m not buying your what you’re saying.

I like this team! Coach Richt has finally gotten a handle on the discipline… All the dismissed players, the suspensions… He cleaned the house of the attitude problems and the guys who didnt give a @$&$… Obviously somewhere along the way he has gotten the players attention.
My favorite thing about being a Dawg Fan is when we have a great defense. I have always loved our linebacking corps and when we can stuff the run. 4 Dawg backers is scarier than 3, and I love the 5-2 fronts we often employ. Todd Grantham deserves a lot of credit for teaching scheme and technique.
It’s been a rocky road, but it feels good to be a Georgia Bulldog again and be proud of the men and the effort they are giving.
I made a bet with my buddy that the Dawgs would run the table in the regular season after the SC loss. Every week he’s been thinkin he was gonna get $5… Not yet! Now he’s talking double or nothing vs LSU! I’ll prolly take it… Just have a feeling about this group….Finish the drill… GATA!

“If we were in the SEC East and had UGA’s schedule then we would easily make the SEC Championship.”
If you were in the SEC East or West you would be on the bottom of the division EVERY YEAR!!
If Vanderbilt was in the ACC they would dominate your low level conference regularly.
You are not worthy to even read this blog much less post on it.

My Lord Dawg Fans, you need to keep your eye on the prize!! Western Beatdown? SEC Championship? Slaughter LSU? Best in the East? What gives? You slid backward into the SEC Championship game, and you blatently forget UK bet you in 2009 – If Georgia comes into it’s game Saturday against Kentucky with the mindset in Atlanta, they’re going to leave Sanford Stadium with a major bubble burst!! Focus on Kentucky, NOT LSU/AUBURN/ARKANSAS!!!!! Any Dawg Fan with an ounce of memory will understand Georgia is world famous at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!!!!!

Geogia schedule may be soft, so what. Georgia is a better team now than when the season started. When Georgia runs the table, beat Kentucky, Georgia Tech, they will be a force in the SEC Champtionship. Do people really believe that LSU or Bama will have a cake walk? Pleases!!!! UGA goes 11-2 and the Sugar Bowl.

It’s really quite simple and I think when you pull out your calculator and protractor and start doing the math you’ll realize that Georgia owns you. We could play 11 High School teams and lose everyone leading up to the Tech game and still destroy you. UGA is so far into your skulls that you can’t sleep, eat or crap without thinking of us.
Get ready for your annual beat down!
