Nice interview Chip. I just hope the special teams and kicking game’s been fixed. If not the Dawgs might lose. Fields goals and kickoff coverage should be automatic at a top SEC school like UGA.

I might as well go ahead make a prediction about UGA-AU game:

UGA will lose.

I predicted BAMA lose because of kickoff/punt weakness(I also got it spot-on right).

I predicted BAMA’s loss because of their kickoff/punt weakness. It turns out their kickoff/punt is OK, but their field-goal kicking is horrible. Still, I was right their kickers are not reliable.

UGA may suffer the same thing as BAMA did last week.

Dawgs 23 Auburn 17 if Bogotay kicks. Auburn 17 UGA 14 if Walsh kicks (and misses 3 field goals)…

Georgia played New Mexico State last weekend. Bama plays Georgia Southern this week. Florida plays Furman next week. If these teams are going to play those teams this late in the year, then the fans should be allowed to go watch these exhibitions for free. The SEC should be ashamed of itself. Give Georgia credit this year, as they did play Boise State (although they did not represent the SEC very well in that game). I can see playing these teams early in the year to get ready for the SEC, but not this time of year. Who cares about going to these games..

“Aaron Murray is the best in the SEC”
____________________________________________

jaxbeachdawg November 10th, 2011 8:45 pm

“Ga upsets lsu in the SEC title game–mark it down!”
_______________________________________________

Georgia will end up 11-3 having beat not 1 team who ends the season in the top 25 of any college football poll. Georgia tek is already NOT RANKED, will get no votes for beating Duke and therefore plays UGA as an UNRANKED team. After that game, it doesn’t matter what Georgia tek does – having Lost 6 Consecutive Bowl Games, Georgia tek is not going to be a top 25 team for 2011.

Aaron Murray has not been the better quarterback head-to-head in 9 games in his career already, having been here on campus since bowl game practice 2008. He has beat not 1 team his entire career who ended the season in the top 25, and he also Lost to 2 teams as our Starting Quarterback, and the only 1 to ever take any snaps at all this entire time, neither of those 2 teams who ended up in the top 25 – Colorado a 7-Loss team should have been an 8-Loss team and 5-Loss Florida last season, should have been 6-Loss Florida team last year. Aaron Murray is 0-7 vs teams who ended the season in the top 25 and in addition has these 2 losses to teams who did not finish in the top 25 and all 9 of those games, the better quarterback on the field, head-to-head that game, was NOT Aaron Murray. His passes are thrown over the heads and behind the players he is throwing to; he averages 1 yards per carry for his entire career while all these other quarterbacks in college all average far better; he chokes in pressure situations with poor footwork still; is inaccurate; is small; fears getting hit; gets thrown around like a rag doll on the biggest plays of every game; and, runs up his stats vs teams who do not finish in the top 25 while losing some of those games and beats NONE of the teams who do finish in the Top 25.

Our 10-game winning streak is against not 1 single team who ends the season in the top 25. With no defense, no special teams and no passing offense, Auburn is # 25 in the AP Poll today and will drop out of the polls tomorrow and then lose several more games not ending in the top 25 and never had any hope of finishing in the top 25. Auburn is a bad team.

LSU will demolish little Aaron Murray, who will have his worst day EVER against them. He would have done the same against Alabama. The quarterbacks at LSU Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee, the quarterback at Alabama A.J. McCarron and even the quarterback at Arkansas Tyler Wilson are ALL FOUR (4) better than Aaron Murray. Stephen Garcia was a LOT better than Aaron Murray in that game this year, and was better than Aaron Murray last year in that game, head-to-head, too. Kellen Moore was FAR SUPERIOR to Aaron Murray in that game. Tyler Bray was better than Aaron Murray in our game vs the vols this season before he got injured. John Brantley had a superior game as QB than Aaron Murray head-to-head this season, only Florida could not run the football. Jeff Godfrey for UCF was significantly better than Aaron Murray that day head-to-head. Cam Newton was also a LOT better than Aaron Murray that day. John Brantley was so much better than Aaron Murray in that game last year as to render this BS moot. The Colorado QB Tyler Hansen had a LOT better day than Aaron Murray last year. Chris Relf was dominating in his performance last year compared to Aaron Murray in that game. Arkansas QB Ryan Mallet was head and shoulders better than Aaron Murray in that game last year.

The reason Murray had a field day against NMS was because there was only 35 players on the entire team over 6′ 1″. tall. He could actually see the field. Most of the players for NMS are under 6 feet. It is very important that Murray proves he can play a taller team and do a good job. We can still beat Auburn with a shut down defense but we can’t make up for a lot of mistakes by Murray that gives Auburn great field position all day. When we get to LSU they will blitz on every play so Murray will only have a small pocket and little time to decide what to do , This is a formula for a disaster. So, Murray must prove he can play against a tall team that keeps him tied up in the pocket.
In two years Murray probably hasn’t completed a screen pass more than 20% of the times. The reason for that is because the defensive ends all 6′ 4″ or taller. I have never seen a Georgia Quarterback do worst than Murray on screen passes. This game will be a huge test for Murray.

I just have to laugh at the UGA people. On what planet are you guys from? There is no rational reason why you will win this game. The only reason the spread is so high is because Vegas knows if it was any lower no one would pick Auburn, because we live in a nation of idiots who think home field advantage is so important. Vegas likes the bets to be about right in the middle so they don’t lose their butts either way. Sure, UGA may win this game, but all logic says no. UGA has lost to the best two teams they played. Their wins are against no joke the five worst SEC teams (VY, TENN, FL, MISS, MISS ST) and two patsies. They lost at home to SC, a team Auburn beat on the road, and other common opponents favor Auburn as well. You could argue that Auburn beat Ole Miss and FL better than UGA did, and the Miss State game was about even. Auburn also has been more battle tested. After playing LSU and ARK playing UGA will be like a game against Ole Miss for Auburn. Hitting UGA will be like a practice. Auburn is going to win this game straight up. 26-17. And lay off the redneck remarks people. You likely live in Georgia, quite possibly just as bad. I mean get real, you intentionally spell dogs like DAWGS to give it a nice southern twang and your fans bark at people. Get some tradition besides stealing the Green Bay G, having a fight song 1,000 other schools use, and copying Tigerwalk before you talk.

Dave Cutler

Georgia’s schedule is what it is. We did not know the entire East conference would be in transition.
Boise State, TCU, Hawaii for a few years , and a few other’s have lived in the top 10 by playing only one hard team ,the first game of the year and a very weak schedule after that first game. It will all work out for Georgia in the end because we at least have a legitimate play off in place . South Carolina had their rear ends handed to them last year and Georgia will also if we are not ready for the west conference winner. It is what it is, we will see.

Dave (I love animal husbandry) Cutler

If by chance you wish to discuss the opinions and finer points of the UGA/AU game you have come to the right place. However, your methods for doing so is quite juvenile and like the scared kid screaming from across the playground that your daddy is bigger than somebody else’s.

Your logic is extremely flawed. One true statement which complete blows you from the water is teams do match up differently to each other. Auburn beating SC and playing FL tighter means exactly dic. Now if you wish to engage in a discussion on an intellectual level, you’ll have to do better than that. Of course you are probably a 2nd year AU student and that is all you have, am I correct?

Dave Cutler,

Allow me to answer where others have failed. Georgia will win the game because their level of defense will be able to stop any offensive threat Auburn throws at them. Not saying Auburn won’t score, but I feel as if Georgia’s defense will stop them more than they let them score. I don’t feel as if Auburn’s defense can hold Georgia’s athletes down enough to outscore them. Our offense definitely struggles, but we are getting back our deep threat and a running back that is hit or miss in my eyes, so we’ll see if Crowell can get it going. All in all I feel as if Georgia is playing on a higher level than Auburn and I feel as if our team has more speed than them this year.

I have noticed that when trolls don’t come on here, these comments don’t happen. But then he wants to say that he is the only guy “talking football” but then still mixes in his trailer comments.

Here is one for ya then .. Did you by chance see how many yards Auburn gives up on the ground to Ole Miss, Miss St, Florida Atlantic, Utah State and Lord knows let’s not get into the Clemson game. Fact is, Auburn is BACK to being an average team at best since sCam left. That’s why they had lost 4 straight to the Dawgs prior to sCam playing last year.

You really want to talk football?

Or do you want to keep telling us how bad our schedule is and how we would lose to teams we won’t play?

Is that talking football?

The pointspread of this game is a joke. It should never be 13.

Auburn is absolutely capable of winning this game. Our defense has run up great stats against not so good teams.

I expect a shootout because Auburn won’t be able to stop Murray. I honestly think our D is better than theirs but until we play, we won’t know.

Could be 38-35 or something like that.

Lex, I don’t think it’s a shoot out at all. They can run the ball, but that’s about it. Their QB issues are something they will need a year or two to fix. Trotter threw for 178 with 2 TDs and 1 INT against STILL winless FAU. 31-17 Dawgs.

AR, they have played some good games and they are a team that in a year or two win the QB situation gets a little better, and I expect it will, they can compete for the SEC again. But not this year. I think they finish 8-5 with a bowl win but, I guess to your point, that isn’t half bad after losing studs on both sides of the ball.

I don’t see Auburn scoring that many unless Murray has a bad day. If I were betting, I’d say this is the one circled on his calendar. Auburn has big questions at QB. No effective passing threat. They have a decent running attack. Dyer and McCaleb are both good. How much AU scores is contingent on how good of a day those guys have and how good we are at containing it.

The AU defense is porous. The line is talented but, the secondary very suspect. Murry should pick them to pieces

Dave Cutler, sir,

We will beat you because our Quarterback Aaron Murray is BETTER than your group of quarterbacks in this game. We have poor special teams, but our special teams, as poorly as they play, are significantly better than your special teams. Our Defense is stout vs the run. And, all Auburn can do is to run. You have no Passing game, at all. None. Our Defense is so far superior to what you have you call a “defense.”

Auburn
_______
# 108 Passing Offense
# 089 Total Offense
# 084 Rushing Defense we run well behind our big OL
# 075 Total Defense
# 096 Punt Returns
# 081 Sacks of your “quarterbacks” not prime time
# 062 Sacks of opposing Quarterbacks

You have already Lost 3 games, more than we have, and despite you beating South Carolina, our Quarterback gave them 28 points – and hasn’t done that since (well not to that extent anyway, thankfully.) You are going to lose 2 more games before the bowl game. That will give you 5 LOSSES before your bowl game.

Easy opponents ?

Auburn has :
SAMFORD
UTAH STATE
MISSY STATE
CLIMPSON FARMERS EVEN GA tek BEAT
FLORIDA ATLANTIC
FLORIDA
OLE MISS
8-your CRUDDY bowl opponent in the Nashville game

Auburn is notorious for your cupcake schedules, this year no different.

For the record, I have no problem with fans of other teams feeling or believing their team is going to win. I often have the same opinion of my team. But, for crying out loud is it to much to ask for a rational and reasoned explanation as to why they feel that way? I mean, because AU beat SC and played FL tight means they will beat Georgia? Thats play ground logic. Look at the ACC coastal as a prime example. Clemson embarrassed VT, GT beeyotch slapped Clemson, VT broke it off in GT’s aster*. There is some logical reasons why they have ended up as they have.

Georgia’s defense isn’t up to snuff as LSU’s but, it won’t take it to beat Auburn. Unless Auburn pulls a QB and passing attack out of their anus, Georgia should have a rel;atively simple solution to keeping that offense in check. Bring the linebackers up and make them beat us in the air. All indications are they cannot.

I think you are right however, this should be a game the Georgia defense shines. Auburn has a really good running game. Gerogia is really good against the run. Too much has been said about UGA’s weaker opponents for a defensive comparison. Yet, nobody is speaking the same way about Alabama’s, their schedule has been just as weak and yet their defense is undeniably very strong

Auburn will run for more than Georgia’s average against the run. This is only because Georgia’s last six or seven opponents have little or no running game. Ok Dawginlex, ARDawg…and whoever talked smack while I was gone…I’m back from break! So, I am not talking football huh? I’m a sophomore at Auburn huh? Whatever, you guys are just mad because everything I said in my original post is the truth. I realize you cannot always use the team A beat team B, but lost to team C, so therefore, team B would also lose to team C logic, but in this case, it is all we have between Auburn and UGA. No one really knows how good UGA is…and you blowhards know it, you just don’t want to admit it. You have beaten nobody. I know how average Auburn can be, but perhaps that is because of the top teams we have faced. You are quick to say Auburn will be a five loss team but I can assure you UGA would be a five loss team if they had to play @ Clemson @ LSU and @ARK. The two best teams you played torched your so called defense. Please explain what other offense you have shut down or what other running back as good as Dyer and McCalleb you have shut down? Auburn is just flat out more battle tested this year and it is going to show tomorrow. Notice how I am not saying Auburn will def win this game and never had. I am just saying the point spread is misleading, as is your team, and these over confident fans is exactly why UGA can’t win the national title. You guys have no humility and it trickles down to your players. The fact you just assume this one is in the bag is hilarious. Like that genius who said the UGA special teams is better than Auburn’s. How so? Last I heard Walsh was struggling and you were last in kickoff return coverage while Auburn’s kicker and punter have been great and have a very dangerous return man. Aaron Murray? You are joking right? Please tell me his signature win. Has he ever beat a ranked opponent? Auburn’s QB situation isn’t great by any stretch of the imagination but it is functional with the offense that we run. The only advantage I see UGA having in this game is the fact Auburn will likely come out flat as we always do after a bye…I hate byes. But once Auburn settles down this game will come down to the end.

There was EVIDENCE there to convict the man. In Auburn’s case, there never was any evidence that Cam and his father entertained the idea of money with anyone except Miss State and former alum Rogers. The fact that the NCAA conducted 80 interviews and lived on my campus for 10 months is enough EVIDENCE for me to suggest nothing was there. There is no injustice in what happened with Auburn. You just don’t agree with it, and yes, that makes you a child. You can’t on one hand slam Auburn and say things like “Oh you will eventually get yours, see how long it took with USC”, then once the verdict is given question the verdict. The NCAA said in their statement pretty much what Auburn fans said for 10 months, that you need more than speculation and blogs and opinions. What happened to all those recordings? What happened with the FBI? Face it, it was all garbage and people like yourself were the line leaders. You are just mad because you have had to put your foot in your mouth, but I guess that’s what happens when you have a losing head to head record against AUB, TENN, LSU, BAMA, and an embarrassing head complex with Florida. If you haven’t noticed, UGA is in last place and also last to win a BCS title…deal with it.

Dave, I am not even going to give your post the amount of time needed to sort through it. So at ease your self-rightousness and listen. You don’t know everything, you just turned the blind eye to facts. Admittedly, maybe the NCAA couldn’t find anything. Does that mean nothing happened? Absolutely not. Cecil admitted to Auburn officials during the investigation that he had worked to negotiate payments from Miss State. Again, it is difficult for the NON-Auburn fans to believe that he would have dealt with Miss State that way but just let Cam go to Auburn for free. Not to mention, four other players come out and admit they played at Auburn and received extra benefits including cash. But somehow, I guess they had a reason to lie about the whole thing right?

Now as for the insults, you keep up with the “you’re a child” rants but let’s face it, you’re calling names and ranting on here like this is your life. Get over yourself. You’re not that guy that all others should be sitting at the feet of soaking up your wisdom.

Listen, all this being said, I HONESTLY, hope beyond hope they never do find anything. Why you might ask? Because I believe in SEC dominance over the other conferences. I don’t believe it to be a myth, I believe you can point to consistent bowl performances and NCs the proof is right there. What would it do to the image of the entire SEC if they did find something? Trolls from any other conferences would hit SEC blogs in droves. I am tired of hearing the crap from other conferences who wish they had the record of the SEC.

And with that I am out….good discussion fellas…you really brought a lot to the table. I was super impressed with how much analysis you brought. I mean, wow, seven games in a row….you finally beat FL…great defense against those terrible SEC teams you played….woohoo..this team is riding high. Got a coach that wants to fight people putting him high in the ranking of classiest worldwide…and that would be two incidents now…you guys should be proud. Go DAWGS sic em woof woof woof.

AJC Headline: Cops: UGA student from Atlanta busted for selling pot in dorm room

That explains…

1. Another reason why UGA was awarded the title “#1 Party School in the U.S.”

2. Where Crowell and the other athletes get their dope.

3. Why UGA is infamous as The Cesspool of the South.

What a truly wretched, sorry place.

This good news that our RBs and Crowell be back for Awful Burn with Cheese Dip coach. We will be ready to unloads the whooping can on the War Tigers. Dawgs got the talent to show that Aubie is bunch of chumps with not enough talents to play againsts Dawgs. Once we get ahead thwn we pays back Awful Burn for the cheap shotting last year.

Gooooo Dawgs! Awful Burns Stinks!

And Adams know we got to extends contract on Coach Richt for winning East. We goning beat the Barns like the rancid mule they is. They desrves it as being payed back for dirty play last year with Farley. Dawgs will get Aubie back for that. I predict we win 53 – 12.

NCAA said the claims regarding Auburn could not be corroborated. Not that it didn’t occur, but that it couldn’t be verified. They were VERY, VERY specific in including that language. It was not “we found no wrong-doing”, it was we couldn’t find evidence to back up the claims of wrong-doing we know is here. Go back and look at how the NCAA writes their findings and you will see what I’m talking about. They know something’s up, the Barners are just doing a good job covering it up. NCAA still has 4 years left before the statute runs out. I’m sure the active investigation is over, but their ears are still open. Y’all aren’t in the truly free and clear for a little bit. That said, last year has no effect on this year. Different teams, different day. Go Dawgs!

The Uga Dawgs will finally be healthy. I would like a body or two of extra “O” linemen but what we have are Studs. They get it done. “IC” a 100 + day, Murray 300 + day. I think the “D” will play very well. Most players are down playing last year, but I can’t buy all of it. There will be some fallout. I think that good, because it will keep the team awake. They want go to sleep today.

Good luck against Auburn. Funny thing is I’m actually going to the game and 95% of the AH, dog nation faithful, sidewalk fan, posters here are NOT. Hahaha. Look forward to hearing you AH’s get loud and proud before 3:30pm. Novemeber 26th will be a war *I guarantee it)! Glad we won’t be playing that game on paper or on these blogs. Look forward to handing it back to you for 365 straight days!

I don’t think the Auburn players will be jumping up and down on the Uga logo at the 50 yd. line. The Auburn Head “GC” is a little crazy but he is not stupit. I hear that the SEC Comish. has spoken, indicated that players, coachs, ect better act the way thay shoud or ELSE. I think the game will be called with this in mind. Don’t be suprised if some of the sting will be off. It will probably take a few
Ref. call to re-enforce that.

Of course coaches held these players out for an insignificant game. They SHOULD have been on the sidelines for the Fla game, but no way was UGA gonna allow that. Dawgs would have lost to the Gators.

What a chicken-chit coaching staff.

We goning to put Awful Burns out of misery by euthanizing them today. It’ll be a killing like beatimg a rancid mule to death. I can’t believes Awful Burns even thinks they stays in game with 12 poiint spreading. That why Dawgs embarrass them.

Georgia has not faced an offense like Auburn, and Georgia’s defensive success has been inflated by playing teams like Coastal Carolina and New Mexico State. Auburn’s defense has its problems but stopped Garcia and Lattimore at home. On Sunday, those pups who ride in Richt’s smoke-filled bus, will be screaming for his head again.

Amazing video of a high school player from Columbia TN who kicks the ball dead straight 75-80 yards in the air. He was 54 of 54 this year…a perfect 100%. Now he needs a college team. Can you please help?
