Hoping that all those talented Dawgs prevail on Saturday between the hedges. Should be a beautiful day. I’ll be there.

Let’s just hope that our stupid coaches don’t blow it again for the team like they have done so many times.

Looks like Preacha Man Marjoe Markt Wrecked may be back next year to receive additional millions in unearned income, serving that koolaid all around the state.

UGA is not as bad as Penn State but they are gaining on them in ethics. Yea start Isiah, you know he let the team down by failing a drug test, but at UGA he is probably a role model. Go doggies!!! I’m sure yall are proud of Isiah !!!

I’m wondering… some of these “fans” whose comments sound as if they are shaking in their boots, are so busy ringing their collective hands that they have lost sight of something very important?

Forget about this weak schedule crap. This team is DIFFERENT this year.

Their mentalities, their abilities, their belief in each other, their commitment, their determination… they are different this year.

These guys are in the top 10 in the NATION in the defensive statistics that matter.

Have a little faith, ya’ll!

Auburn has lost 5 of last 6 against Georgia because they’re always looking ahead to Bama, then beat Bama, 7 out of last 9. That pattern will repeat this year. Lose to Georgia, beat Bama.

“Aaron Murray is the best in the SEC”

“Ga upsets lsu in the SEC title game–mark it down!”
_______________________________________________

Georgia will end up 11-3 having beat not 1 team who ends the season in the top 25 of any college football poll. Georgia tek is already NOT RANKED, will get no votes for beating Duke and therefore plays UGA as an UNRANKED team. After that game, it doesn’t matter what Georgia tek does – having Lost 6 Consecutive Bowl Games, Georgia tek is not going to be a top 25 team for 2011.

Aaron Murray has not been the better quarterback head-to-head in 9 games in his career already, having been here on campus since bowl game practice 2008. He has beat not 1 team his entire career who ended the season in the top 25, and he also Lost to 2 teams as our Starting Quarterback, and the only 1 to ever take any snaps at all this entire time, neither of those 2 teams who ended up in the top 25 – Colorado a 7-Loss team should have been an 8-Loss team and 5-Loss Florida last season, should have been 6-Loss Florida team last year. Aaron Murray is 0-7 vs teams who ended the season in the top 25 and in addition has these 2 losses to teams who did not finish in the top 25 and all 9 of those games, the better quarterback on the field, head-to-head that game, was NOT Aaron Murray. His passes are thrown over the heads and behind the players he is throwing to; he averages 1 yards per carry for his entire career while all these other quarterbacks in college all average far better; he chokes in pressure situations with poor footwork still; is inaccurate; is small; fears getting hit; gets thrown around like a rag doll on the biggest plays of every game; and, runs up his stats vs teams who do not finish in the top 25 while losing some of those games and beats NONE of the teams who do finish in the Top 25.

Our 10-game winning streak is against not 1 single team who ends the season in the top 25. With no defense, no special teams and no passing offense, Auburn is # 25 in the AP Poll today and will drop out of the polls tomorrow and then lose several more games not ending in the top 25 and never had any hope of finishing in the top 25. Auburn is a bad team.

LSU will demolish little Aaron Murray, who will have his worst day EVER against them. He would have done the same against Alabama. The quarterbacks at LSU Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee, the quarterback at Alabama A.J. McCarron and even the quarterback at Arkansas Tyler Wilson are ALL FOUR (4) better than Aaron Murray. Stephen Garcia was a LOT better than Aaron Murray in that game this year, and was better than Aaron Murray last year in that game, head-to-head, too. Kellen Moore was FAR SUPERIOR to Aaron Murray in that game. Tyler Bray was better than Aaron Murray in our game vs the vols this season before he got injured. John Brantley had a superior game as QB than Aaron Murray head-to-head this season, only Florida could not run the football. Jeff Godfrey for UCF was significantly better than Aaron Murray that day head-to-head. Cam Newton was also a LOT better than Aaron Murray that day. John Brantley was so much better than Aaron Murray in that game last year as to render this BS moot. The Colorado QB Tyler Hansen had a LOT better day than Aaron Murray last year. Chris Relf was dominating in his performance last year compared to Aaron Murray in that game. Arkansas QB Ryan Mallet was head and shoulders better than Aaron Murray in that game last year.

The reason Murray had a field day against NMS was because there was only 35 players on the entire team over 6′ 1″. tall. He could actually see the field. Most of the players for NMS are under 6 feet. It is very important that Murray proves he can play a taller team and do a good job. We can still beat Auburn with a shut down defense but we can’t make up for a lot of mistakes by Murray that gives Auburn great field position all day. When we get to LSU they will blitz on every play so Murray will only have a small pocket and little time to decide what to do , This is a formula for a disaster. So, Murray must prove he can play against a tall team that keeps him tied up in the pocket.
In two years Murray probably hasn’t completed a screen pass more than 20% of the times. The reason for that is because the defensive ends all 6′ 4″ or taller. I have never seen a Georgia Quarterback do worst than Murray on screen passes. This game will be a huge test for Murray.

I just have to laugh at the UGA people. On what planet are you guys from? There is no rational reason why you will win this game. The only reason the spread is so high is because Vegas knows if it was any lower no one would pick Auburn, because we live in a nation of idiots who think home field advantage is so important. Vegas likes the bets to be about right in the middle so they don’t lose their butts either way. Sure, UGA may win this game, but all logic says no. UGA has lost to the best two teams they played. Their wins are against no joke the five worst SEC teams (VY, TENN, FL, MISS, MISS ST) and two patsies. They lost at home to SC, a team Auburn beat on the road, and other common opponents favor Auburn as well. You could argue that Auburn beat Ole Miss and FL better than UGA did, and the Miss State game was about even. Auburn also has been more battle tested. After playing LSU and ARK playing UGA will be like a game against Ole Miss for Auburn. Hitting UGA will be like a practice. Auburn is going to win this game straight up. 26-17. And lay off the redneck remarks people. You likely live in Georgia, quite possibly just as bad. I mean get real, you intentionally spell dogs like DAWGS to give it a nice southern twang and your fans bark at people. Get some tradition besides stealing the Green Bay G, having a fight song 1,000 other schools use, and copying Tigerwalk before you talk.

And it’s easy to see that if UGA had Bama, ARK, and LSU on the schedule, they could easily be a 6 loss team.

Georgia’s schedule is what it is. We did not know the entire East conference would be in transition.
Boise State, TCU, Hawaii for a few years , and a few other’s have lived in the top 10 by playing only one hard team ,the first game of the year and a very weak schedule after that first game. It will all work out for Georgia in the end because we at least have a legitimate play off in place . South Carolina had their rear ends handed to them last year and Georgia will also if we are not ready for the west conference winner. It is what it is, we will see.

I’m glad Mitchell is back. We’d be fools not to throw to him, Orson Charles, and Chris Conley all game. Those guys are a head above the rest, maybe add Michael Bennett in there, but I think we win if we target these guys instead of Tavarres King. They have proven themselves, and with a dose of Crowell I think we can win this game by 7.

Dave (I love animal husbandry) Cutler

If by chance you wish to discuss the opinions and finer points of the UGA/AU game you have come to the right place. However, your methods for doing so is quite juvenile and like the scared kid screaming from across the playground that your daddy is bigger than somebody else’s.

Your logic is extremely flawed. One true statement which complete blows you from the water is teams do match up differently to each other. Auburn beating SC and playing FL tighter means exactly dic. Now if you wish to engage in a discussion on an intellectual level, you’ll have to do better than that. Of course you are probably a 2nd year AU student and that is all you have, am I correct?

Contractor

November 11th, 2011
9:36 am

Dave Cutler,

Allow me to answer where others have failed. Georgia will win the game because their level of defense will be able to stop any offensive threat Auburn throws at them. Not saying Auburn won’t score, but I feel as if Georgia’s defense will stop them more than they let them score. I don’t feel as if Auburn’s defense can hold Georgia’s athletes down enough to outscore them. Our offense definitely struggles, but we are getting back our deep threat and a running back that is hit or miss in my eyes, so we’ll see if Crowell can get it going. All in all I feel as if Georgia is playing on a higher level than Auburn and I feel as if our team has more speed than them this year.

TampaDawg

“And lay off the redneck remarks people. ” .. it’s funny that this comment is followed up by “go back to your trailer in Winder.” .. boy this Dave guy lacks common decency and class. I have noticed that when trolls don’t come on here, these comments don’t happen. But then he wants to say that he is the only guy “talking football” but then still mixes in his trailer comments.

Here is one for ya then .. Did you by chance see how many yards Auburn gives up on the ground to Ole Miss, Miss St, Florida Atlantic, Utah State and Lord knows let’s not get into the Clemson game. Fact is, Auburn is BACK to being an average team at best since sCam left. That’s why they had lost 4 straight to the Dawgs prior to sCam playing last year.

TampaDawg

November 11th, 2011

If Auburn is so much better then explain the 12.5 pt spread. I mean, Vegas has their agenda but to gain a spread that thick, they obviously are begging people to bet on Auburn now. That and they don’t believe Auburn can hang either.

You really want to talk football?

Or do you want to keep telling us how bad our schedule is and how we would lose to teams we won’t play?

Is that talking football?

The pointspread of this game is a joke. It should never be 13.

Auburn is absolutely capable of winning this game. Our defense has run up great stats against not so good teams.

I expect a shootout because Auburn won’t be able to stop Murray. I honestly think our D is better than theirs but until we play, we won’t know.

Could be 38-35 or something like that.

Lex, I don’t think it’s a shoot out at all. They can run the ball, but that’s about it. Their QB issues are something they will need a year or two to fix. Trotter threw for 178 with 2 TDs and 1 INT against STILL winless FAU. 31-17 Dawgs.

TampaDawg

November 11th, 2011

AR, they have played some good games and they are a team that in a year or two win the QB situation gets a little better, and I expect it will, they can compete for the SEC again. But not this year. I think they finish 8-5 with a bowl win but, I guess to your point, that isn’t half bad after losing studs on both sides of the ball.

Dave Cutler

November 11th, 2011

Well for some reason my posts are being eaten…perhaps because I am making too much sense…I’m out. Good luck to the UGA fans…you guys will need it. Monday morning you will be in here rehashing the Richt discussion. UGA’s numbers and wins are inflated because they played very bad teams. Auburn’s numbers are decreased because we lost to three top ten teams on the road. See ya!
