CBS will televise the Auburn at Georgia football game this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Sanford Stadium.
This will be Georgia’s second CBS appearance this season and 66th in school history, joining the Bulldogs’ victory against Florida two weeks ago.
Although Auburn (6-3) is coming off a victory against Ole Miss, the Tigers have been inconsistent, alternating wins and losses in five consecutive games. The Tigers have lost on the road to Clemson, Arkansas and LSU but defeated South Carolina by a field goal.
Georgia (7-2) has won seven in a row after dropping its first two games of the season. The Bulldogs control their destiny in the SEC East, needing victories at home against Auburn and Kentucky to clinch a berth in the SEC title game in the Georgia Dome on Dec. 3.

I hope Georgia players show a little class and not cheap shot auburn players like fairly did last year. Its not always easy doing the right thing but it shows sportsmanship something auburn didn’t show last year. Just win the game and the SEC East, that should be revenge enough.

We didn’t find any wrong doing by Auburn, however, it does seem awwwwfullly strange that during the DOGS annual arrest season that the coaches didn’t seem to know anything about their players wrong doing BEFORE the FL/GA game and they just happened to suspend the offending players during a gimme match. Auburn cheaters?? HA HA HA “hello pot, my name is kettle. You’re black!!” Look in the mirror dogs fans. You’re the cheaters!!!

If you do win the SEC East Dawgs, enjoy it while it lasts. Next year Auburn will be in the SEC East and it will be a loooong time coming before you play in the dome again. Unless it’s to get spanked by Boise State again. With Auburns extremely young team, almost our entire team will return next year and with the quality of their recruitment team, we’ll have talent building up for years to come. This will be the last year you “luck” into the championship game.

Auburn has losses to Clemson, Arkansas and LSU. Hmmmm. UGA’s losses were to BS and SC. So, neither team has lost to weak opposition. This should be a real good game. The DAWGS should have plenty of incentive remembering the way they were (mis)treated on the Plains last year. Playing before a home crowd is a plus, too. So give the edge to the DAWGS.

Jacka$$ Handy: Speak for yourself. There is no comparison to the 2010 UGA team. CMR will be there for a looooonnnnngggggg time so get use to it. Fortunately for UGA most of us don’t think like you. All you morons are doing is hurting UGA recruitment. Every team in America would like to constantly, year in year out, live under the “wish list” of good things you listed but EVERY DAMN TEAM IN AMERICA can’t win championships every year. Richt is the 10th active winningest coach in America and SABAN and MILES are trailing Richt. I believe I speak for the huge majority of DAWG NATION when I say we would be better off if you and your ilk just put a sock, make that 2 socks in it.

UGA may want to borrow the kicker from BAMA’s team to help em LOSE the Auburn game. They’ll be looking for an excuse after the loss anyway. Might as well have one determined from the kickoff. WAR DAMN EAGLE

@ Aarh – Auburn beat SC and UGA lost to them so it’s a pretty easy jump to say that Auburn is better than them and UGA, while they outplayed them they lost to them, may not be. Both played them with Lattimore but UGA had them at home while AU won on the road. As for the QB’s during the UF games Auburn did win against the backups but as crippled as Brantley was in “The Party” I would say he was as much a hindrance as an asset. He was truly awful in that game and you beat a one legged QB where we beat a couple of true freshman QB’s. I call it a was except for the fact that we were never in danger of losing.

“CBS knows that if Florida beats USC at noon then both teams will know that Georgia is going to be the SEC East Champs prior to kickoff! The Florida / USC game will be the biggest win for the GAtors this year! Anytime you can beat the “Old Ball Coach” is a memorable one.
GO DAWGS!!!”
Come on fellow Georgia fans, do not sell your soul and root for the Gators, against anyone, with the possible exception of Satan’s Legions. Then it would be a toss-up, depending on whether it helps Georgia or not.
We don’t need Florida to do a damn thing for us. Just take care of business at home against a fair to average Auburn team and a bad Kentucky team, and we punch our own ticket to Atlanta.

How does this blog attract all those Auburn punks? What are you going to claim after the Dawgs kick your proverbial butts and send you back down to the plains lamenting the days you had Cammy taking care of your business for you. Those days are gone! He cheated and you covered it up, now you have to live with being a cheater.
Yeah, the Dawgs owe you a big one for the dirty play of Fairly! The Dawgs have something waiting up front in answer to Mr. Fairly! You may want to leave early so you’ll miss the slaughter! GO DAWGS!!

Been following the GA fans discussion of how they think the Dogs have already won this Saturday’s game and are talking about their chances of beating LSU in the dome, but they better focus on the business at hand this Sat between the hedges. While their recent run has padded their stats they have yet to beat a quality opponent on the field this year. South Carolina 45 points vs the dogs, 13 point vs Auburn. I know the special teams gave up many points vs SC, but their play against Fl did not leave the impression that this problem has been solved. Looking forward to a good game and praying for no injuries.

104-36 best winning % of any SEC coach and in top 10 coaches in country. Do not see any change to staff unless someone gets a better offer elsewhere. Beat Auburn and play for title and anything can happen on a given day. Believe the odds are going to be greater that what everyone would guess for this game.
Still se Coach breaking Coach dooleys record down thr road and then retit=ring.
Add 6-7 great recruits to this class and next year will be even better.

Since you are the board then I guess you would know that UGA couldn’t have cheated for there is no set rules on drug testing. Each university sets there own standards in which UGA has the toughest in the conference.
I guess it is not black after all. What goes around comes around and Auburn will soon have the wrath of what they did……. and then everyone will be laughing. LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I don’t know how history will rank this team, It certainly won’t be anywhere near 1980 or any other championship team, Georgia has won 7 in a row Simply because of a weak schedule, The only ranked teams Ga has played resulted in losses, Auburn is in a rebuilding year and a Ga victory will prove nothing, If Georgia wins the east it will be by default and will be followed by a sound trashing by who ever wins the west.

ARE THE DAWGS FOR REAL?
Regrettably this question will not be answered even with wins against Auburn, Kentucky and GT.
It will take a win or a great performance in The SEC Championship to answer that question.
The fact that many of us in Dawg Nation must still ask that question is a result of the first two losses / poor play and incredibly weak subsequent schedule.
In all fairness however, they did win them all (so far).
So it comes down to winning the last three and performing well (win or lose) in The SECC.
Bottomline in my opinion.

Dooly might not have won 400+ games like JoePa, but I’m pretty sure if he had caught Bill Lewis raping some 10 year old boy in the locker room he wouldn’t have just ignored it like JoePa did with Sandusky. (On the other hand, he did just stand quietly by while Bill screwed Ga Tech!)
