But do you know now that I know now that you knew that I knew that Aaron Murray isn’t the best QB in the SEC? I think Tyler Bray is the best QB in the SEC.

How can we be the favorite when S Carolina controls it’s own destiny? Everyone says we have a easier schedule, but I don’t see that much difference. We have Vandy, Kentucky, Florida, and Auburn. South Carolina has Mississipi State, Tennessee, Florida, and Arkansas. South Carolina could win them all, but I admit Arkansas will be a test. But, UGA will have their hands full with Auburn, and Florida always give us trouble. UGA will have to win them all and South Carolina will have to lose one. Could happen, but I sure don’t buy into the “we’re the favorite” crap.

Thomas Brown, man are you a Murray hater. If he starts laying bricks in the next few (crucial) games I think Richt will definitely sit him, but all we can do is wait and see. I do not think that Richt will let the team suffer for one player to keep his playing time, IF there is a better alternative on the bench. You forget that the Dawgs had AWFUL pass protection last year, plain and simple. It doesn’t explain all of Murray’s int’s but it doesn’t help either. Even Stafford had a lack-luster year in 2008 when our 0-line was killed with injuries.

Let’s just sit back and watch what happens. In the end, we have no control over it anyway and no manner of railing on a 19 year old will change that.

As always… GO DAWGS!

Amen UCF Dawg. I am over making excuses for Murray, but what I think really doesn’t mean squat. And I am certainly not going to bash the kid. I think he’s feeling the heat, especially after the late game pick last week. Hopefully he rises to the occasion.

@ 1eyedjack. The South Carolina AD finally sacraficed the chicken and he’s most likely sitting under a Oak tree drinking a cold one about now, and it happened within three days of a full moon. Does that count? Go dawgs!!!

As a BAMA fan, I hope UGA wins out. In my opinion, it would be more of a challenge to face Georgia in Atlanta than S. Carolina or Florida (again). Hopefully, the BAMA players would feel the same way and avoid a letdown.

All aboard the bulldog bandwagon. Odds currently have UGA 7-1 odds to WIN the SECCG. South Carolina is at 6 – 1. I don’t know the odds to win the east. I do think that USC would match up better with teams from a team from the West than UGA.

There is no way, that we should have lost to South Carolina with Stephen Garcia. No way.

If you dog fans think you are going to beat Florida, you are being silly. You are not Alabama and LSU, us losing to them has nothing to do with your weak program. As usual, you will be talking a bunch of smack before the game and crying and making excuses afterwards. Again

Folks, for all of you that are mad at King Tony, Murray cannot for his own life hit an open receiver, downfield, on a regular basis. We should have beaten TN by 3 more touchdowns. He throws too many interceptions, and loses his cool when he gets regular pressure. By the way, I am a UGA fan, who is a realistist. UGA will only go so far with Murray. Mason needs to be given some play time. Murray has regressed this year, and was only at times impressive last year. Yes, I have watched the same games you have. I was screaming at my TV screen 2 weeks ago, when he was throwing the ball everywhere except to the receivers. Now, King Tony, go away. You have made your point.

UF,SC and UGA all have a chance at the East this season but they must handle their business. Brantley was on the practice field this week and his ankle isn’t as bad as first reported, Demps won’t play against Aub so he’ll be fine in with 3 weeks rest. Should be a good game in Jax this year but the outcome will be the same. UF beating UGA…again!

I agree; the headline is whack. I would think it should have been “…S.C. prohibitive favorites…”

ckgator…et al: You think A.D.s and coaches get to pick and chose which SEC teams they’ll play, year in year out? Did you know that the schedules are done 4-5 years in advance? We “lucked” into our SEC west schedule; the chips just fell that way this year. And, for a Flawduh fan to even mention our cupcake schedule is ludicrous. Actually, we usually have two cupcake-non-conference games; while most others have three. Look it up.

Oh, I see that KingTony….er…ThomasBrown/Pollyanna is finished with his four hour shift and back on the computer. Watch out…someone’s gonna call the SPCA on you for beating that dead horse.

Should be an easy win for UGA. ‘

VANDY has no DEFENSE and the OFFENSE is worse. I saw several VANDY players get pushed by BAMA players and did not push back during the game.

This is probably the easiest game UGA will have this year. 10 points should win the game. Their 3 wins are against cupcakes.

South Carolina has a good chance of losing to Florida and Arkansas…………….at Arkansas.

UGA has test against FLORIDA and AUBARN.

SOUTH CAROLINA has the tie breaker. Carolina will possibly only lose one more game. With CAROLINA probably going to SEC Championship. I doubt CAROLINA loses 2 more games.

SC will have to lose at least one more conference game and we will have to win all of them.
Not impossible but as of today SC is the favorite in the SEC East.

I’m sure the Gators are just planning to give up after the first half this year, if the Dawgs are ahead on the scoreboard. So sure, why even bother with a second half gameplan?

I mean, look how nice Urban Oscar-Meyer was to us in the second half of his last couple of games in Jacksonville. He even let the second string play some. Nice, huh?

If UGA makes to SEC Championship they do have a chance against either BAMA or LSU.

OLE MISS beating FLORIDA in the swamp 2-3 years ago was one of the biggest upsets of all time.

It is possible. UGA has to win all of their remaining gamaes and hope SC slips.

Interesting perspective! Why not go on and proclaim the Falcons, Braves, and Hawks to be the “prohibitive favorites” to win their divisions as well. Might as well go on and proclaim Jimmy Carter as the “prohibitive favorite” to reclaim the presidency too! lol

When you look at the tenn fla game every time the vols passed the ball down field the gators had to pull or hold the receiver almost like they were coached to do it. If they played real ball that game may of had a different turn out not saying the vols would have won but much closer. I believe fla had 6 pass interference calls in that game.

dead horse ?

How can a team led by a leader Quarterback who never takes charge win The SEC ?

Heck, he sends Twitter Tweets to opponents before the games telling them how he is going to kick some a**.

He lets the rookie RB jaw at opponents and never says a thing to him. Nothing.

He checks off at the line to his own number.

He has 16 fumbles in 19 games.

He has 14 interceptions in 19 games.

All at the very worst moment.

If it is a
