SOUTHGADAWG88,
You were asked, sir, to explain why Aaron Murray should not be set down, to explain why Isaiah Crowell has no stamina in the 2nd half, to explain why Malcolm Mitchell did not start vs South Carolina, to explain why Aaron Murray had 3 interceptions 2 fumbles 3 times Aaron Murray settled for field goals 2 sacks 8 penalties by the offense who by the way didn’t do anything in the 2nd half having now beat 3 of the sorriest football teams in the nation with no good team on the schedule and where was Aaron Murray on his pick 6 with his world-class dual-threat qb with great legs under him that he was so out-run by the guy downfield who then blew his doors off leaving Aaron Murray skipping behind him as he trotted into the end zone on 1 of the 3 Aaron Murray Interceptions on this day ?
Today we start Michael Bennett at wide-out. Half of the season gone, and the geniuses on our offensive coaching staff, still don’t know who to put out there. What does that tell you ?
Isaiah Crowell did not start vs Boise State or South Carolina.
Ben Jones is out there after the game is over, trying to start a fight. I mean wow Ben. We beat Missy State who has beat no one, like Ole Miss and like Coastal Carolina. Like the vols, Florida and South Carolina as well.
Marlon Brown started vs South Carolina and not Malcolm Mitchell and you think this offensive coaching staff does not deserve any measure of questioning on all this ? Oh, no, you actually cannot think of anything this offensive coaching staff has done that is good. That is why you haven’t replied. Their idiots. And, that goes doubly for anyone in here defending them, like you.
After Carlton Thomas scored in the 2nd quarter, we put up all of 3 points. Can you explain that ?
Missy State cannot pass their way out of a wet paper bag, our defense handed the ball back to our offense all afternoon long, all afternoon, and our offense not only puts up only 3 points after Carlton Thomas’ TD in the 2nd Quarter, but gave up a TD on offense AGAIN this week.
Aaron Murray on the season is 36 rushes for minus – 48 yards.
Aaron Murray 6 interceptions in 5 games including the 3 worst teams in America Coastal Carolina, Ole Miss and Missy State.
Aaron Murray has 7 fumbles in 6 games including 3 worst teams in America.
Aaron Murray has lost to every team finishing in AP Poll Top 25 entire career.
Aaron Murray has lost to 2 more teams who did not finish in the AP Poll Top 25.
Aaron Murray just had his worst day ever.
The worst player on Georgia’s Defense, is Aaron Murray.

In all of the state of Georgia, you mean to tell me we can’t land ONE Nico Johnson. One Courtney Upshaw, One Donta Hightower, One Mark Barron! Yeah UGA gets their share, of what’s leftover. Think about it. Every time Auburn has a so-called “special” season, GA players are the “special” ones on their roster.
Did you folk just see Alabama and LSU play? After 11 years, UGA look like a glorified high chool all star team. If UGA gets all these recruits who were “best on their team”, then what the heck does Alabama AND LSU have? PRO’s? Did you see the playcalling for Alabama,AFTER they were called for 3 penalties inside the redzone in the first quarter? It was masterful. Folks, UGA has nothing like that, not even close. Saturday proved that UGA SHOULD run the table. Talent wise, they are just a bit better collectively than even Florida is this year.

Whats’ with all these pics that Murray is throwing! I don’t see how he or Richt cannot be concerned. For goodness, throw the ball away instead of trying to feed it thru tight coverage! And, Walsh, you need some more practice! You must have a new girlfriend and thinking about her instead of kicking as you have been doing. Leave all this crap behind when you visit Knoxville and take on the Vols. They are mostly one dimensional. They have no one who can run the ball and have one outstanding receiver, D’arick Rogers. The sports writers in Knoxville are saying that Georgia should be a win for them. Georgia usually lays an egg when they visit Knoxville. Remember that and don’t let it happen! The Vols believe that the Dawgs are the team to beat in order to win 7 games this year. They’ve almost conceded losses to LSU, Alabama and South Carolina and believe they have a better chance with Georgia. Don’t let that happen! Be ready……..GO DAWGS!!

Perfection,
You rule the day in your mind because you haven’t played the big boys (?) in your conference yet. Perfection against inferior teams doesn’t get it. Beat Clemson, VAtech. (although they aren’t that impressive), and you will probably not have have to play florida state, and then you can brag. This is not a blog titled, “WANNA BE’s”. It is about Georgia’s defense. Oh yeah, you will have to face them also. If your QB throws those soft passes and wobblers against a real defense, he is going to be in trouble. Might want to stick to the ground game and leave the passes alone when you play tougher teams.

Wow!! How attitudes change with a few wins over the weakest teams in college football. UGA has one of the weakest schedules in D-1, and even if they go 8-4 or 9-3, so what? Just another average year and a program that has not come close to playing for a national title in 30 years. So what?
Mike Bobo 17 INT

If the UGA fans come off the gas against having CMR removed, and allow him to keep his job by winning just enought games, then this speaks volumes of how tanked this program really is. Nobody cares if this program goes 9-3 or 8-4, Alabama, OU, and LSU are chasing national titles, while UGA is content with just winning a Chico Bail Bonds Bowl.
Athens needs to quit living for the moment and start planning for national titles.

The SEC East is one of the weakest conferences in D-1 football right now. Even Florida just got their helmets handed to them by Alabama from the SEC West. UGA would never survive in the West, and only have to deal with Florida once a year in the East, and cannot get past them.
Think about if UGA had to deal with Alabama and LSU every season….they would get drilled..

UGA will never win a big game with Richt,Bobo, and their boy Murray. Murray is not a winner, and he proves it every week. This guy is a below average Q.B. He locks in on one receiver and telegraphs his passes. Why did Richt not yank his sorry ass after the pick 6? Just shows what a terrible coach Richt has become, and this spineless head coach showed his chicken sh-t attitude once again by not going for a first down on 4th and 1. His finesse offense and his terrible Q.B. will get their asses handed to them on the road next week. Can’t wait for all you RIcht lovers to come on this blog and make up all of your excuses why this pathetic coach lost another big game. Richt, Bobo, and Murray=the 3 stooges.

A lot of good observations from you guys who are so intense and avid fans. Have to agree on Bobo( or Booboo) He seems to call a good half and then thinks he’s a genius and tries to over sell the product. Most recipes for success are basically simple with the proper seasoning. Bobo seems to get excited with his own success and dumps all of the seasoning into the game plan at once. I think he doesn’t recognize what’s working and what isn’t during the game. You can’t fool talented teams all of the time. Keep it simple and knock their butts off.

Fla tire , you continue to show you complete lack of knowledge about the game of football. Ever coached, Played ? , sounds like neither.Find a new team, please, Tech wants and needs you. Before the season you were one of the ones that said Miss. state had passed us , now thy’re that sorry Miss. state team. Murray made some ill advised throws, he made some good that were dropped, But I suppose when you played QB at UGA you never threw an interception.

richie…………….It doesn’t matter who Bama and LSU play or Arkansas either. UGA doesn’t play anybody and as was stated before the season UGA can easily back into the SEC CG. Not that the dawgs really want that. The WEST rep will KILL the dawgs and show McGarity how far the dawgs have fallen, but playing in the SEC CG Richt will get to stay.

Whether CMR is back in 2012 or not, AM will not be the UGA starter all year long. He has not grown with experience and in fact, his choking, trying to make Orson Charles the All American TE that he is not.
Murray is hurried up because of our O line but he needs to tuck it and run out of bounds or throw it away. He is unable to win big in this league and frankly, has YET to win vs a good to great SEC team.
Florida, as a fairly good ? SEC squad will be a REAL test. BS and SC were his Waterloo and were very suggestive of his LIMITED WINNING QB skills. Period. Brantley was hurt pretty badly last night. Murray will in my mind CHOKE vs the Gators but time will tell.
After Florida, the UGA family will be so dividied that we make changes. This is why AM will not be the QB next year and beyond. He brought it all on himself with his PIC 6s.

For everyone (flat tire) who wants us to throw to our TE’s more like Figgens because it’s worked so well in the past, Figgens I think has 1TD in his career, and he moved to FB. So you don’t really have any idea what youre talking about. Also, you don’t sit
Your starting quarterback. And, they went to Samuels because last week (if you watched the game) he gave a huge second effort on fourth down to get the first down.
When this show does end ............
October 2nd, 2011
11:48 am
When the U of Georgia does make a HC change, we will see who gets IMMEDIATELY hired elsewhere OR back at UGA with the new regime. Mike Bobo will end up as a position coach in JUCO in Milledgeville, Ga or, some south Ga HS coach. Period.
McClendon and Garner and Granthom and Latkatos and one or two more will make lateral moves or a step down but will still be in college, somewhere as coaches ……………Not Mike Bobo.
THIS FACT is a big part of UGA’s demise over the last 2.3 to 4 years.
Go Dogs. It is what it is.

What WE learned over the weekend? The Writers Voting in the polls don’t really know crap. The Preseason Polls are garbage for the most part. the Preseason All Conference teams are Stupid.
The SEC East doesn’t have any very good QB’s.
Luck may have been a Heisman QB, but Russell Wilson is the real deal.
PS O’Brian at NCSU is a fool for running him off.

Mississippi State letterman last year, sophomore jersey # 5 Nickoe Whitley is captured on photo doing number 1 on our famed Georgia Hedges during the football game Saturday, 1 October 2011. This player should be arrested, and suspended from further SEC play, making the 70-man Mississippi State traveling roster.

Enough of the it’s Bobo to blame comments. I am not saying that he is the best OC by any means, but an OC is only as good as his line. The line has not been impressive for years. Look at them, out of shape and slow. Their collective inability to read Ds leads me to believe that they are not as bright as Olinemen should be. To top it off, with the excepetion of Jones there is no nastiness there. As for Murray I will agree he has some bad moments that make it hard to stomach. Again the line is more often than not to blame for his shakiness. Also for the record, Murray is a true 6′1 guy. Not very tall but tall enough. There are a few qbs not so tall who have proven themselves at the next level.
