Hopefully that will give me super powers to yell louder when coach tells me to yell
September 30th, 20111:59 pm
Congratulations FIRST….you must be proud! What a D*****BAG!
2.3 years is how HE got here
September 30th, 20112:06 pm
An athlete is not paid on how he won the big tourney back in 2002 or 2004 or 2005. He is paid on his RECENT accomplishments or he leaves the sport. This is true of execs, sales managers, sales pros, jockeys, etc.
CMR holds his future in his hands. Win, and he has a job for another week. Win all the way to the Dome and he can lose to LSU or Bama and he WILL STILL have a fabulous job. A NY Day bolwltrip seals his fate for longevity.
Question is …………………. IS CMR HAPPY still coaching?? Hmmmm???
MSU is owed and we had better win and win big.
Goooooooooooooooooooo GEORGIA BULLDOGS !!!

No need to register, just vote. http://www.nomobobo.com.
Our commitment to UGA starts with the dismissal of the dismal. Bye bye BoBo.
September 30th, 20112:18 pm
I for one thinks that Coach is on the right track for getting things turned around. If by chance he doesn’t get it done then I would place a heavy bet that he has already been contacted by North Carolina and Miami to coach at either one of those places next year.
Mark (another one)
September 30th, 20112:29 pm
No one is contacting Richt or Bobo at this time. That would be stupid. As for this being a must win game, why is that surprising. Do you think Saban views any games as okay to lose. Upsurd. Richt goes into each game needing to win it as does every other SEC coach.
Its also true that no single loss will get one of these coaches fired. Its the culmination of their work and more importantly, does the AD think the coach will bring future success. Georgia needs to decide if Richt is their man for 2012, and they won’t make that decision until after the season. In the mean time, SEC game day pressure is pressure enough.
September 30th, 20112:36 pm
@ gdawginkalamazoo: I agree with you. CMR is obviously getting the warning, but we have to give him a chance to right the ship. He does need to focus on the O-Line this recruiting class and I think that will help determine if he’ll be back. Georgian’s don’t like to lose their home-grown talent to other SEC schools and he needs a great O-Line class.
September 30th, 20112:38 pm
The pressure of the SEC is rigorous enough (as you stated) but don’t think for a minute CMR doesn’t feel more pressure than Saban right now. There is a reason it’s called the hot seat and unfortunately ESPN and the boosters drive the AD more than CMR’s work ethic. Go DAWGS!!!
September 30th, 20113:08 pm
You know its a must win forg so use the old must Alabama and Florida get off this s- – - and write about football it’s friday and dont have anything to write about so use the old must win ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm get a real job
September 30th, 20113:10 pm
typing was a mess what the hell it was a must win for me sorry.
September 30th, 20113:11 pm
If you are coach Richt do yiu go for the blowout win against one of the coaches that the fan base has been so enamored with?
Say It Aint So
September 30th, 20113:16 pm
Mark (another one)
You think a single loss will not get CMR fired? Let him loose to the bees from N Ave and see what happens.
Winning is Overrated
September 30th, 20113:31 pm
We’re just happy to be playing the game.
September 30th, 20113:40 pm
Hairy Dawg, yes you do. You go for the blowout win every single game in the SEC. No shame in beating somebody 45, 50, 60 to 14 or so as long as nobody gets hurt.
September 30th, 20113:50 pm
“You know its a must win forg so use the old must Alabama and Florida get off this s- – – and write about football it’s friday and dont have anything to write about so use the old must win ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm get a real job”
September 30th, 20113:51 pm
I wish I felt like we’ll win out and Richt’s future with UGA is safe and intact. I just don’t see it happening. That said, it is still possible that the Dawgs do run the table although, highly unlikely. I think Richt has enough capital to lose at least one more, maybe two except, losing to Florida. Richt could lose this game and still remain at UGA for a long time. Lose to Missy, lose to TN, run the table and he still has a job. Lose this one and win all others but FL and he’s a goner. Two more losses, maybe 3 and beat FL he still has a 50/50 chance of being the coach next year. He’s not as far on the edge as most of these writers want you to believe
September 30th, 20113:55 pm
You’re just gonna get a headache doing all that ciphering. It don’t matter how many we lose. Mark will be back next year, and you know it.
September 30th, 20114:04 pm
Winning is overrated,
I do wish I could agree with you, really. I just can’t. I think Richt can lose a couple and stay unless they include either FL or the bugs or both. 8-4 might cut it. 7-5 will cost him a job. I do believe 9-3 is just too high a mountain to climb.
Bottom line, I think it is still his job to lose. 9-3, 10-2 and he likely gets a contract extension. 7-5 or worse he’s gone, 8-4 could easily retain if we beat FL….it’s all conjecture and JMHO
September 30th, 20114:15 pm
Don’t want to be on the hot seat, don’t play .500 ball for the last 2 seasons. Don’t lose to bad teams.
Don’t under perform when every other major program has won a national championship.
Half Century Dawg Fan
Let’s just beat the snot out of MSU and then worry about the next game.

Hey Fans! We so value and look forward to all that fans say that I can tell you we only have half of our coaches on the practice field during the week while the other half are in the athletic offices taking close notes on who to fire, what plays to run, what we’re doing wrong, how we should shuffle the lineup, how we should act (intensity, yelling, clothes to wear), and who should and should not be a water-boy on the sidelines. I only ask that you all slow your comments down a bit because its hard to take notes when the comments in this goldmine of ideas are coming so fast. And for a long time we thought that only Jeff Schultz was our best “secret” coach! By the way, your votes of confidence really raises morale over here so expect us to play our best because of your candid comments. You cannot begin to IMAGINE how it’s helping our recruiting, too!
September 30th, 20114:32 pm
Any sensible college football fan and obviosly the coaches, particular in the SEC knows that…. Every game is a must win??
dog fan sitting on rocky top
September 30th, 20114:38 pm
top dawg stole my thunder!
September 30th, 20114:40 pm
brooksdawg, where have you been?
September 30th, 20114:48 pm
fire the bloggers
September 30th, 20114:53 pm
AnnalopolisDawg, that is just it Coach Richt has very rarely concentrated on the o-line or d-line until it got to be a critical situation. That is part of the reason why we are in this predicament right now.
September 30th, 20115:26 pm
UGA beats MSU and next yeat CMR beats UGA coaching for another school! Go figure.
Wet Willie...keep on smiling
September 30th, 20115:34 pm
Why would you wish for Mark Richt to return as HC??????? Are you stupid or what. Take a look at your sideline tomorrow and you will see a group of coaches that should be at a HS instead of college. If you can’t see the problems then you deserve what you’re getting.
September 30th, 20115:38 pm
@Wet Willie, why are you picking on HS coaches? The real stupid people will in the the stadium, except for MSU fans. Be easy on them and the North Campus!
September 30th, 20116:20 pm
YOU PEOPLE ALWAYS SAYING RICHT A GOONER. LOOK UGA SHOULD BEAT AUBURN, MISS STATE, TENNESSEE WITHOUT JUSTIN HUNTER, AUBURN, VANDERBILT, AND NEW MEXICO STATE. YOU GUYS DON’T REALIZE THAT UGA HAS A REALLY FAVORABLE SCHUDELE THEY CAN BEAT TECH I BELIEVE ALSO. FLORIDA IS THE REAL QUESTION MARK.
September 30th, 20116:24 pm
Yech hasn’t played anybody and won’t until UGA! Go Dawgs!
September 30th, 20116:29 pm
The trick play…
fool me once, fool me twice…fool me every single f*ing time
The new GA motto…
Anyone remember the West VA game? Have we ever stopped a trick play in recent memory? Seriously…
September 30th, 20116:32 pm
I believe Vegas Odds have The Dawgs beating MSU by 7.
Looks like a tossup – which means MSU wins by 3.
Oh he!!, who cares anyway?
September 30th, 20116:35 pm
Now the pathetic Richt is calling out the fans to be loud. Maybe if this moron and his pathetic hand picked coaching staff could prepare the team to play for the first time in 4 years the fans would be excited. This loser has done nothing but disgrace the school the past 3 1/2 seasons, and now he is calling out the fans. My GOD this guy will try and blame anyone, the players, the fans, but never once has he called out his pathetic staff, and his own coaching ability. Richt is a big loser, and so are his coaches, and only losers blame everyone else but themselves. His terribly prepared team will lay an egg once again, but thank GOD the game will start at Noon, and no one will see it,but desperate UGA fans. Richt=mediocrity, always has, always will. And any UGA fan that defends this bum, deserves what they get, a poorly prepared, unmotivated team.
September 30th, 20116:39 pm
The kool-aid bar will be at South side gates by the bridge under the shade tree

The Bizzaro Dawgs vs The BullDogs
I gues we will find out which is which tomarrow want we…
September 30th, 20116:56 pm
The Bizzaro Doawgs should loose this one.
September 30th, 20117:28 pm
I get tired of that “we are young” bull. Teams are in a constant state of flux. The fact is that
players aren’t progressing under this staff.
September 30th, 20117:45 pm
Bizzaro Dawgs are going to give the real Dawgs a scare… a very close scare… but the real dawgs will win in the end..
trusssssss me I knows these thangs
September 30th, 20117:57 pm
its funny how alabama has a new qb and are still trucking along. enough of the were young crap. its the coaching staff period. by the way quit saying people arent true dog fans, their just not cmr fans and believe me there is a huge difference.
September 30th, 20118:00 pm
You are the disgrace. Please quit using that handle, cause it does not suit you, jerk……
September 30th, 20118:05 pm
I bet all of you whiners were big time fans of our coach when we won those 2 SEC titles. If Bear frickin Bryant was coaching this team right now and started out like he did back then, you all would be forming up a darn lynch mob……
All of you whiners make this Dawg fan sick to my stomach. Get behind your team or get the hell on….
September 30th, 20118:44 pm
first……where is excited?
September 30th, 20119:17 pm
dawg4ever=Harold=kool aid stamd=flat tire.
all, same poster all tech fan, all stupid.
September 30th, 20119:20 pm
Lighten up Francis. Try some pepto. Those 2 SEC titles you refer to were long ago in the age of “what have you done for me lately” world of college football. The Dawg Nation is a big one, everybody isn’t going to see the world through the rose colored glasses you are wearing. It doesn’t make them any less of a fan than the koolaiders
September 30th, 20119:30 pm
Dawg4life has my vote! I agree I’m tiered of negativity from some dawgfans
