Folks, here comes this week’s excuse from da Preacha Man. The offensive line is injured… We’re short… Boo hoo…
Why is UGA always short linemen and linebackers under Richt? Seems like there would be a number to keep on the squad and each year you roughly recruit enough of each skill to maintain enough inventory to cover injuries, etc.
Maybe Richt thinks this is one of the administrative tasks that McGarrity relieved him of so that he could devote more time to the intellectual study of the game of football.
Doesn’t seem like anyone is managing this at UGA…
Why do people think that Ole Miss in Oxford is gonna be an easy game? Nothing is ever easy with incompetents like Richt and Bobo and now it looks like even Grantham.
I tell you now that Houston Nutt know at least as much about the game as Richt and Bobo and probably a lot more. Plus, he does act like he’s alive and interested on the sidelines unlike Richt and Bobo.
I’d say that Ole Miss is backed up on their own territory for this game. UGA needs to be very worried and approach the game with a great strategy and game plan. Perhaps Richt and Bobo could call some other coaches to help get a game plan that will work…

You going to the Fla/Ky game? You might want to give your tickets
away, the Gators will beat the wildcats for the 25th straight time. Worse than
that, you will see a Gator team that is not in the rebuilding moded or down this
year as so many experts on this blog suggest.
They in no way resemble that disaster Florida put on the field last year. Last
year was the year for the dawgs to to beat Fla, this year –forgetaboutit-it just ain’t gona happen.
The dawgs couldn’t beat the Gators (with a less talented team) with a better team last year than they
have this year. Actually, our first year coach will do his alma mater a favor by getting Richt
fired so the dawgs can get a decent coaching staff. Try this Charlie Weis vs Bobo the clown, I’ve got a side I like.
I’m sure you give your expert analysis of the Gators if you attend the game. Have fun if you do.

It’s hard to understand the hostility for this video. I saw no bias in it at all …. just accurate reporting of sources along with his opinion. I think the AJC is owned by the same folks who have Channel 2 (WSB).
They have always been fair, perhaps even biased a bit toward UGA. If the sports news is negative it should be reported that way. I see no need to leave reality just to suit people who can’t face the truth.

2- GEORGIA has lost 10 of its last 12 against ranked teams. (2-10 record)

In this game, I think Georgia’s starting O-line problems will be neutralized by Ole Miss’ D-line size and lack of quality depth. If Georgia has any further injuries it may be a serious problem.

Richt remarked today that if UGA tries to fire him that he will appeal it all the way to the Supreme Court. He went on to explain that as a professor of football, he now has tenure in his 11th year and is virtually untouchable. He added that his contract call for a ten percent annual cost of living increase, with the 10 percent increasing by 2 additional percent each year until he is 80 years old. He also said that if he dies that the head coaching contract automatically transfers to Mike Bobo so that he can continue to feed his 17 kids and maintain Barbara Dooley’s niece in the style of living that she has become accustomed to.

How could UGA have depth issues on the O.L., or any other position. I mean Richt is the greatest recruiter of all time, and he has nothing but top 10 recruiting classes. Unfortunately Richt and his master recruiter Garner don’t have a clue how to recruit for needs. These clowns have to take whatever kids are left after other schools rape the state, and that is why they never can stockpile talent at postions of need. When you have to take whatever is left after the talent has been raped, you wind up with 10 t.e’s and one O.L. This coach and his staff were totally outrecruited in 2007, and they have been getting beaten instate by major rival schools each year. How can the wonderful Richt and Garner not have any depth at O.L., W.R., R.B, D.L, L.B, D.B, and especially safety? Great question since the arrogant ass Richt and his wonderful coaches “Know what the hell they are doing” Richt has no clue what the phrase “You have to win in the Trenches” to win games in the SEC. He doesn’t even know what the hell in the trenches means, he gets it confused with in the ARENA. What a joke this excuse maker, arrogant, loser is

Richt just needs to pray more. I spent all last season hoping we’d have a losing season so Georgia would fire Richt. It’s surreal to me that he’s still the coach after finishing with a loss to UCF. Again, I hope Ole Mis wins, because if Ole Miss wins, WE WIN. Why do Georgia fans take this crap?? Richt’s has our program in worse shape than it’s been in the 30 years I’ve been a fan. We are absolutely AWEFUL. And he spent YEARS creating this disaster.
