Georgia’s Oct. 1 game against Mississippi State in Athens will start at noon and be televised by Fox Sports Net, it was announced Monday.
The game will be the Bulldogs’ third consecutive early-afternoon start, following last week’s 1 p.m. kickoff against Coastal Carolina and Saturday’s 12:21 p.m. game at Ole Miss.
CBS will televise two games involving SEC teams on Oct. 1, one at 3:30 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m., and exercised its “six-day option” to hold off on making its selections until after this week’s play. But CBS said it will choose from among three Oct. 1 games: Alabama at Florida, Auburn at South Carolina and Arkansas vs. Texas A&M in Dallas. After CBS selects two of those games, the other will be on ESPN with a noon start.

Matthew Stafford once went on a stroll through the Agricultural Memorial Gardens off of Lumpkin. It was a swell Spetember day. As he walked by, just like E.T., the flowers and blooms perked up, the plants grew, and it was just the prettiest fall Garden you’ve ever seen. To commemorate this occasion, he took all of the staff there to Amici for some calzones, wings, and buffalo chicken garcheemar. And as always, by all accounts, it indeed was delicious.
NOTE: As a ‘thank you’ for his help, the staff interbred 3 species of various flowering plants and named the new species: Staffordus Awesomenius Matthewitus. It’s a very strong and majestic plant that strangely enough blooms Detroit Lions blue flowers and dominates landscapes. Maybe it was a sign of things to come.

Is a fl fan seriously trying to knock another team? I saw the fl/tn game in person this past wknd. What I learned:
-Brantley is no better than he was last yr. All but ~20 yds thrown were to rbs (rainey, demps & burton) out of the backfield, which were nothing more than screens or swing passes.
-There’s not 1 wr on that team to fear.
-Fl beat a UT team that had the provervial “wind” taken out of their sail w/ the acl injury incurred by Hunter on the very 1st pass play.
-I do have to give credit though to the fl d-line. Easley is a future star!
With the above said, Fl has yet to play anyone. The UT team that came into that game was not the same that left. We’ll all see just how good UF is after October (Al, LSU, & UGA) is over.

It’s a shame that the only time you regularly get a prime time game is when
you play the Gators. Maybe after you replace this entire staff ya’ll will be competetive
again————to many good players for ya’ll to have the record you do.

Only 2 tough games in Oct, likely lose to LSU and Bama but have a chance for an upset. Auburn and Georgia, the Gators will be favored and should win those games——-so a 2-2 record in Oct isn’t so bad(playing #2 & #3 teams), 2-2 is the about same record the dawgs will have in Oct., if it’s 1-3 after the Florida game, Richt can kiss it good bye.

As crappy as this sounds…I hope we lose to Ole Miss so maybe they will go ahead and get rid of Richt…he has lost his edge and needs to get out of there before we become the next FSU…

As long as the trolls keep showing up in great numbers you will know UGA is still an elite program. Nobody is on the Troy site talking about them.
Its when the trolls dont care about you anymore that you have lost relevance. As long as they are here it means UGA football is still respected and feared. Thats a good thing.

I am completely amazed at the number of Gator and Bama fans that spend so much time and effort on UGA blawgs and articles. I can honestly say I do not click on fla, bama, GT or schultz articles. Does not seem worth my time or effort. Your constant presence here speaks volumes you just do not realize it!

I hate to root against my own team but any victories moving forward will only delay the inevitable…a wholesale coaching change at UGA! We’ve had far, FAR too many top 5 and top 10 recruiting classes to be a laughinstock, capable of beating only high school teams. The only victories we get anymore are against teams we bribe to come play us…and Central Florida took us the WOODSHED! What a joke we’ve become!!

“It’s good that we played these first three games in our state.,” Bobo said. “We’ve got a bunch of young guys that hadn’t been in a (college) game environment so they’ll be more comfortable. You always have to deal with the road, but if we prepare well and get ready to play, I think we should be fine.”
Good grief, this man is not the sharpest tool in the shed. If you loose, what does it matter if it were home or away? In some regard, it would have been better had it been away.

Dawgs must win big on the road at OLe Miss or the air comes out of the balloon again. If they struggle their will be doubt once more and the chances they “upset” MSU get mighty slim. FL is a must win for CMR to retain his HC job at GA.
