UGA can win for two weeks in a row, Ole Mess is their new name and if the young pups eat their chow and get their sleep it looks like it will be a cake walk in Oxford next week.
But folks getting two wins against two horrible teams does little for a program that is not living up to the hype and the expectations of the State of Georgia, UGA Alumni, and its fan base.
But congratulations on the win, it beats being 0-3.

WOW–Maybe next week they can play a real team and win–maybe Grady High School–LOL–

Why is it just what the doctor ordered? So we can prove we can beat up the little guy? It actually just makes the Dawgs look more desperate and foolish. And now that USCe looks shaky, the Dawgs look shakier. Ole Miss will play lights out to save their coaches job. UGA? Who knows? Miss. St. is not a gimme by any stretch. Now Vandy looks better than they have in years. I thought Tenn. hung tough with a surprisingly good looking FLA team — so Knoxville is not gonna be easy. Everyone, including Murray, talks about running the table. Does anyone really think that’s in the cards? Based on CMR’s recent body of work, I sure don’t. My true feeling is McGarity waited a year too late to hire a new coach — he was on the Florida sidelines today. But then, that’s the Georgia way. Day late, dollar short. Wake me when it’s over…
September 18th, 20111:48 am
Keep playing one game at a time….
September 18th, 20112:00 am
can you say?
September 18th, 20112:04 am
Yep. Who could argue with a Kool-Aid drinker? Delusions of grandeur are just the ticket — just what the Puppies need right now — just what the doctor ordered. And just in the nick of time for an away game against an SEC under dog. That always turns out for the best, doesn’t it??!! Especially for an SEC team looking for some success . . . any success . . . that they can point to. A team that knows well how to just go through the motions, or if by some chance, playing a good game, how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
September 18th, 20113:01 am
Good win Dawgs!
But what does it really mean? Does it mean we are a contender in the SEC? Probably not. Does it mean we can contend with second tier divison one teams? Probably. Is this where the Dawg Nation wants to be? Probably not. Should we expect more out of the Georgia football program? Yes. Why? 1- one of the top football facilities in the country, 2- great booster and fan contributions and support, 3- great recruiting classes …. just to name a few. The facts speak for themselves, we are trending down, we are not feared in the SEC, we are known as a team which cant finish. LOOK AT THE FACTS…… they cant be disputed….
1-GEORGIA is a combined 0-5 against Top 25 teams in 2010 and 2011
2- GEORGIA has lost 10 of its last 12 against ranked teams. (2-10 record)
3- GEORGIA is now 15-14 in his last 29 games
4-GEORGIA is 6-10 in the past 16 SEC games.
5- GEORGIA is 3-5 in their last 8 games going back to last season
6- GEORGIA has won 1 of it last 4. (and it wasnt a powerhouse we beat today)
LETS SEE WHAT NEXT WEEK BRINGS WITH MISSISSIPPI
September 18th, 20116:48 am
I see the dumbarsese are out in force. They hate Richt so much they can’t be happy with a win. I think they’d be happier if the Dawgs lost by fifty then they could be happily miserable.
They are bandwagon Tech wannbe fans.

September 18th, 20117:14 am
We don’t want ‘em either Dan.
September 18th, 20117:37 am
dbc, I totally agree. Muschamp is the next great young coach and we let UF have him because we needed to hang on to the coma victim for one more year. I watched the UF game and Muschamp’s fire and intensity was unreal. He will win Florida another national championship and we will continue to be their b**tch every year in jacksonville. I guess the pollyanna richt lovers enjoy getting beatdown by florida every season. We have the recruiting base and facilitues to be a big time program but the richt lovers don’t want that. It’s okay that were mediocre because our coach is such a good man seems to be all they care about. I want change.
September 18th, 20117:38 am
Florida is the only remaining team on our entire schedule who is ranked, and they are not very good. So, the question is are we going to lose them, again, too ?
September 18th, 20117:39 am
Running back Jordan Hall and defensive backs Travis Howard and Corey Brown received impermissible benefits at a charity event they attended earlier in the year and were suspended for NCAA violations. Six other Buckeyes were already suspended for NCAA violations- including running back Dan Herron, wide receiver DeVier Posey, offensive tackle Mike Adams and defensive end Solomon Thomas, who all will miss five games as part of their involvement in an investigation that led to the departures of quarterback Terrelle Pryor and Jim Tressel, who is now replaced by Luke Fickell. Terrelle Pryor stand-in at QB Joe Bauserman connected on just 2-of-14 passes for 13 yards in defeat as Ohio State was 4 of 17 passing for -0- TD only 35 yards in the air, and threw an interception in a 6-24 blow-out loss to Miami of Florida, who just had lost giving up 32 points in a loss to lowly Maryland. Neither Maryland nor Miami of Florida, obviously are ranked. Neither is Ohio State, now.
September 18th, 20117:42 am
What in the world are we supposed to learn about THIS WEEK’S GAME vs Ole Miss, when they just got run out of the stadium by Vandie ?
Muschamp looked and acted like a complete dork… commentators made fun.. he acted insane !!
September 18th, 20117:47 am
I don’t know why I even read these blogs. The CMR haters will complain if we do win out, win the SEC and play for the title. For whatever reasons, they will not be happy until he is gone. Not true Dawg fans in my opinion. Probably very few even went to school there. (or beyond high school at all)
September 18th, 20117:48 am
Keep the faith.. it;s very possible.. to be in SEC. championship game,, just take ‘em one week at a time… we beat S.C. just not on the scoreboard…. there’s parity in the S.E.C. East all will lose 1 or 2 games… go Dawgs !
September 18th, 20117:52 am
Lakeland, if you wanted to take anything from last week’s game against Coastal Carolina, or this week’s game vs Ole Miss, you are out of your mind – wait, you’ve long since proved that. We did not beat South Carolina, DISNEYdawgs.com
September 18th, 20117:54 am
How do you really believe Mark Richt would do in The SEC Championship Game against Alabama or LSU ? Even Arkansas, for that matter ? Please tell me you think Mark Richt and his “coaching staff” would obviously belly-up to the bar and beat them, any of them. I expect no less from you pre-game.
September 18th, 20117:57 am
we do need to play Hutson Mason more.. great passer.. Parade All American out of H.S…. what’s up with Ken Malcome ? I was expecting alot more ????
September 18th, 20117:58 am
This week game is what it was suppost to be a breather on the schedule. Ole Miss is a joke and Miss State is not as god as billed nor is Auburn. Florida is the real deal and Tenn and Vandy may be much better than we expect. Unless something changes Tech looks like it will roll. Know you dont want to hear it but we could lose 2 or maybe 3 more games this year.
September 18th, 20118:09 am
u guys just beat the Coastal Carolina Cosmetology program. Great win!
September 18th, 20118:10 am
All these mental defectives on here talking about winning out and playing in the SEC championship game make me laugh. Really? Richt and his staff aren’t capable of doing something like that. What have any of you seen in the last 4 or 5 years that makes you think Richt and company could pull that off. Heck, I’m starting to doubt that we could even beat Vandy on the road. This team is going to lose at least 3 or 4 addtional games if not more. Talk about blind homers with their heads in the sand.
Tech looked awesome… gotta give ‘em that… none will be easy… what we say here makes no difference… that’s why they play the games… it will be exciting and suprising…. we’re getting better… Go Dawgs !!!.
September 18th, 20118:22 am
Wow. We are sounding like Tech. Crowing over beating a cupcake team.
September 18th, 20118:45 am
“Florida is the only remaining team on our entire schedule who is ranked, and they are not very good.”
I think the Tennessee QB, the Tennessee RB, and the Tennessee head coach would strongly disagree with you. Florida IS good…..and they are going to get a lot better throughout the year. They are also very young……..
“Muschamp looked and acted like a complete dork…”
If a dork is a head coach winning, not losing, the first big SEC East game……give me the “dork” over the “non-dork” every time. Florida will be 4-0 when they play Bama under the lights in THE SWAMP. And something tells me the Bama QB and RBs will have their hands full with very fast and talented defensive linemen and linebackers as well. Not predicting a win just yet…..but it is going to be a hell of a football game.
September 18th, 20118:51 am
Florida isn’t the real deal yet…….as they have a lot of youth playing in the secondary (2 freshmen and 2 sophs) that tend to make too many mistakes. But the Gators are working on becoming the read deal….very soon.
…….and I know you Dawg fans hate Chris Rainey, but he is a truly special football player. 100 yards rushing, 100 yards receiving, and a blocked punt (after scoring after a blocked punt last week). One of his runs last night reminded me of Barry Sanders when he played for the Lions. So HATE on him…but the Georgia players better be ready to tackle air in JAX this year.
September 18th, 20118:53 am
agree, I paid $25 to listen to Bob Neil babble the entire game….this guy needs to retire. Although the game was a blowout he could have been more attentive regarding 2nd & 3rd team subsitutions. Buck carried the broadcast!
September 18th, 20118:54 am
September 18th, 20118:55 am
P.S. Congrats on the big win yesterday. You needed it. Ole Miss should be a easy victory as well. So…..maybe after that win, all the negative Georgia “fans” will jump back on the summertime bandwagon. I, for one, think Georgia will win all their games before traveling to JAX. I hope so.
Have a nice day! Be positive now.
September 18th, 20118:58 am
You have to admit Tampa Gator, he acted “Pelini-like” going off on the refs at halftime.
September 18th, 20119:15 am
Pelini-like.,….only in emotion……not in language. But I do think his emotions got the best of him in that situation. But I think he will learn from it……and I think Foley will talk to him about it. But he is one heck of a football coach…..and I am sure glad he is the head Gator. And Brantley looked OK last night too. But he still looks and throws to only one receiver. That will kill the Gators against Bama if he does not get better at looking off DBs.
September 18th, 20119:17 am
you losers just beat up on a little school and now you’re talking that same old UGA trash…run the table, etc. Come on ladies you stink…and beating up a lesser opponent and then crowing about it makes you stink even more…BTW did you notice that Tenn Vols had -9 yards rushing yesterday….Crowell be warned
September 18th, 20119:18 am
Rainey looked good yesterday, but he always does against college players who take bad angles and tackle poorly. That’s not to take away from Rainey or Demps for that matter. For some reason, Florida coaches have mastered the art of putting all of their speed in positions to succeed. UGA seems to not have this kind of knowledge…hhhmmmm. And we are supposed to be a finesse, offensive minded team.
Double Zero Eight
September 18th, 20119:20 am
Great game. The Dawgs played with intensity for 4 quarters.
Let’s hope Richt can keep them motivated. It was a well
coached game, even though the opponent was over matched.
The diversity of the play calling was good practice for
upcoming SEC games.
September 18th, 20119:24 am
Muschamp does need to calm down though. It’s difficult teaching your players pro techniques, especially DB’s, and expect the refs to just let it pass. You get little to no lee way with college refs and bumping receivers down the field. It seems as if “some” of this is for show and the cameras. You know how, when you get upset at a woman or a child, and there is nobody around to correct you, you just keep going and going and going until you sound like a fool to yourself…lol
September 18th, 20119:34 am
Just think we’ll be able to hire Dan Mullen for O.C…. when Bo Bo gets a head job…. next year… and Mullen gets fired… MSU. should have never lost to a mediocre Auburn Team… Mullen was out coached by Chizik… and I don’t think much of him.. either… Richt’s better than aforementioned coaches….and will beat ‘em this year !!! Go Dawgs !!!
September 18th, 20119:39 am
Destin, Hutson Mason was NOT a parade All American. Watch the embellishing. He’s a VERY capable back up though.
September 18th, 20119:43 am
Sugar hill… Fact Check…YES ! Mason was Parade 2nd team .. ALL American.. his senior year !
Flat Tire on I-95 in Jacksonville
September 18th, 20119:50 am
I’ll tell you whats up with Ken Malcolm
He is in Richts dawghouse why do you think he came in for one play
Thats what coaches do when your in the dawghouse buts thats fine
We have no back up at RB
Good job coaches
September 18th, 20119:54 am
After re-watching the FL game we will lose AGAIN!!! in Jacksonville
but ol Energy Vampire / Dream Team Richt will stir up the fans and say its not fair we have to play in Jacksonville
Whats not fair coach Richt 40,000 UGA fans and 40,000 FL fans playing in a city since the 1930’s
Stop blaming the venue coach and look in the mirror
September 18th, 201110:00 am
I ‘m watching a Tenn. team who can’t even snap the ball to the Q.B…. very sloppy game here…. Gators have 2 or 3 losses before we play’em… nothing overwelming in this game… parity means all will lose a couple..
old dawg fan
September 18th, 201110:06 am
I like Muschamp showing emotions as opposed to CMR showing litle or no emotions. Yea-we beat a High School team Saturday-that should really kick things off for the rest of the season. Did I mention we are 1 and 2.
CMR said the players executed well. Most good High School teams could have beat CC easily-wait a minute a good “high school team” did beat them Saturday!
September 18th, 201110:07 am
FLA looks like a loss. The rest are winnable with Aub, TN, Miss St, Vandy, and Tech as probable toss ups but winnable if we play up to our ability and don’t get outcoached.
