I don’t care what anyone’s sexual proclivity is, I just don’t care to read about your sexual preference on a football blog. But, that may just be me.

the number of transplants here in georgia probably overwhelmingly do not support uga athletics, probably because they work with delusional, obnoxious uga fans. is there another state school in america disliked inside its borders more than uga? doubt it.

JAWJeDawg….I care about UGA a lot more then you. I was there when we beat Florida in 2004 and 2007 and 1997. I was there we beat Hawaii in the BCS game. Don’t tell me my busoines and if I want to say Davd polack is hot (he is) then you can stick it.

If i want to gush about a player then so be it.

Moleman – I think your opinion is based solely on you not liking UGA so you can’t handle the excitement building up to a game. That being said, to answer your question:
FSU is hated in Florida in a big way
So is Miami
Texas A&M is hated in most of Texas
Michigan State is only loved by alums in Michigan
Nobody likes OK State, even in Oklahoma
Then there’s always Auburn/Alabama (that’s pure hate right there)

Should I keep going. And being in Florida, originally from Georgia, not nearly as many transplants in Georgia anyway.

Harold: What about the other 100 Division ! teams that haven’t won a National Championship in the last several years. And don’t forget that most of them have NEVER won a National Championship. Hopefully you don’t profess to be a DAWG fan. You need to find another hobby.

Sup Dog fans…
Pollack was a real good player, pretty good TV analyst to. Lot better then Mike Bell on 790, but Alge Crumpler is pretty funny dude.

Pollack would have been nice combination with GT’s Michael Johnson with the Bengels if he didn’t get hurt.

I’m starting to think Kentucky may win the SEC East this year, people are counting them out but they will be a good team ans surprise so folks.

“Gay Dawg” or “David Greene” or whatever you want to call yourself next, we can play this game all day long. You can switch from computer to computer there in your computer lab of whatever school you attend and I’ll just keep banning IP addresses. So I not so respectfully suggest you find another hobby other than hurl insults at people you don’t know all day long.

If Pollack is correct then Richt goes down. The dogs have 6-6 or 5-7 wrote all over them. An 0-2 start, losses to Tenn, Auburn, and Miss State, and a humiliating beat down in Jacksonville at the hands of the Florida Gators, and it is looking like a pretty sad season in Athens. You may not even beat Ga Tech, which is sad in itself

But yes, Pollack and Johnson would have been tough to stop together. And I honestly didn’t even know Alge Crumpler was on radio now. I gotta get on there more often I guess.

I just read three pages of Blowhard UGA fans who have placed this once pretty good program( not good, not great, not premier) on a pedestal. 31. 31 years since a Big Boy Title has been won. While Titantic size Boat Loads of talent has entered and left the hedges playing field. During that time 4 head coaches including the Head Coach who won that last title. Last count we saw 19 first round draft picks play during that period.

Now for those of you who will slam me. That is your right. But until you biased people realize that the opinion of The UGA program is at an all time low is an understatement. Even if UGA were to win the east, it would be ranked right there with GT’s title due to the schedule in conference being the WEAKEST of all SEC schools. That is right. All of SEC schools in schedule strength.

The facts are the program is losing players to other schools that were formally UGA “locks” and the talent base at UGA is nothing close to the years they competed for titles in the SEC. And like it or not, many many of those players were brought in by Donnan. Get over it. The program is not what you make it out to be. But it is not as bad as others make out to be either. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is somewhere around a 5.75 ..which is not going to win many titles.

8-5 with a win over Penn State in the bowl sure seems stellar compared to 6-7 with a loss to C Florida. Lord, if you guys can’t even beat our junior colleges down here, what in the world do you think is going to happen in Jacksonville?! It won’t even be close

UGA, not a premier program. That’s laughable. UGA is one of the top 5 football programs in the history of college football. UGA, Alabama, Notre Dame, Texas and Oklahoma.

Some information for you:

1) UGA has FIVE National Championships
2) Numerous SEC titles
3) Heisman Trophy winners
4) The best tradetions in all of college football

Those things, and many more I could list make the Dawgs a PREMIER NATIONAL FOOTBALL PROGRAM!

End of discussion.

Consensus had UGA unranked. That is not saying they should not be ranked. A great deal of the hype around UGA is based on not playing LSU, ARK, Ala, and playing USC, MSU at home.

But we play the schedules we are dealt and with that I bid you GOOD LUCK.

That poor little old 6-7 team to the Gators to OT, the Gators only got 7 on Miss St, and got drummed by FSU. Crushed by your hated in state rival (who, don’t get me wrong, I hate FSU as well and will pull for Florida on every OOC opponent). Brantley gives every opponent a shot at winning.

I will say its over unless Mr. Towers says it over.

Lets play recent history. You could say the same thing about Notre Dame, Harvard, Yale and so forth…get with recent history. When was that last National Title?, when was that last time UGA played in a title game? When was that last Heisman trophy winner?

Get current and get real.

Your turn.

Thanks for the link, DawginLex. That boy had a motor didn’t he? Went right through two blocks on that play before making the TD – if I remember right, the only TD we got all night.

The “Two Davids” (and Richt) came within a TD (vs Zook & UF) of getting in the Big Game vs Miami.

See that is what I am talking about. The opinion of some UGA fans is just that far off.
Everyone knows that programs rise and fall with their coaches. Where was UF,, VT, Boise St, USC, …ALL OF programs have better records than UGA over the past 10 years. But why argue with someone who wears Red and Black glasses.
