Dawgs are going to be great this year – mark it down!
We’re loaded, with IC leading the rest of the Dream Team. We will win the East, maybe the SEC but that’s just a set up for next year when the Dawgs will bring thier 6th National Championshiip back to Athens. The tradetion of the Dawgs is winning and that tradetion will be in full force for the next few years.
I know this because the Dawgs get the best High School football talent in the state and Georgia is easily the most talented High School football state in the country. Belive me, I played in Cobb in High School and would have been a Dawg but I blew out my knee my softmore season.
Go Dawgs!

Alot of unconfirmed specs that starting CB Branden Smith is in a boot on his ankle around campus today?

I love David Pollack, the essence of a DGD. I agree with D A Double U g as I have said in this blog many a time, I wished he was on the GA staff, maybe the S&C area. He would be a great recruiter as well as a great motivator. Go DAWGS!!! BTW, I love the Combat Unnies.

Harold , you are the biggest fair weather fan of them all. Find another team to show your support to. Wait a minute you don’t support you just bitch and moan. What did you say Richt’s first 6 or 7 years when he was winning 10 games a year? So called fans like you are all the same , you demand excellence without giving any kind of positive support. For some reason you seem to feel entitled! Find another team LOSER.

LogicalUS: I can’t claim any direct knowledge about Branden Smith and whether or not he’s injured but I can tell you this: It’s rarely as bad as it seems. For instance, Brandon Harton was on crutches on campus yesterday. I know because I saw him. But he’s not seriously injured. He’s slightly injured and trainers just taking precautions that it doesn’t get worse. I’ll find out what I can about B Smith. But Richt stated flatly that there were no new injuries last we met with him.

You’re right; he is no UGA fan. Last year he was a proponent of TN and constantly bashing Coach Richt and all things UGA. Now is SC. He’s just a cynic.
I shouldn’t have even replied to him. I was just baited and tried to defend my university. I won’t do that again (maybe).
Like with tide roll, next time I see his ALL CAPS, I’ll just tap the space bar a time or two and scroll right past his rants. .. Go Dawgs!

In recruiting, unless you do the “oversigning” thing, you must recruit not only talent, but also heart and character. Donnan’s recruits seemed to have all three qualities. While it still must be proved on the field, it seems as if these bulldogs now have more heart and character to go with the talent.

To be truthful, Harold is more honest about the UGA program that 95% of their “true” fans. A lot of fans are predicting a trip to the SEC championship game based on an unproven S&C program, the Dream Team (similar recruting ranking to many previous years), as easy an SEC schedule as your could ask for, and a huge transformation in the players that were on a team with a losing record the year before.
The only one of those items that is guaranteed is the schedule. Many fans are way to certain about some very large assumptions.

Had had enough BS articles from the AJC regarding the uniforms. Seemed that the topic was just used by our writers to stir the hits.
This link says it right ON to me. Very good read on the topic of uniforms, tradition, and creating excitement about UGA.
Says it like I see it and I think very accurate : Note had sitters and old tradition. I think it does hold us back to a big degree and this is comming from a guy who loved James Brown, The Tracks, sitting on the Grass in the corners. Great read and wanted to share.

I guess Cobb county schools didnt teach you to spell check because you write like a 3rd grader. By the way your pups will finish 3rd in the East and in 2012 who knows but a NC in the future ,,,, NOT !
