Palm City Dawg has and will ALWAYS support Richt and the DAWGS. I have never waivered from that support, even thru all this bulls__it abuse some so-called UGA fans have thrown at him. GO DAWGS, GET Drew, Jenkins, and Crowell. Drew coming aboard in 3 hours!!! Oh hell yeah!!!

It sure doesn’t take the (Special) ones that long to “play”.

I have faith things will turn around in Athens. New s/c program and the fact Richt realized that no hitting was making the boys soft will help tremendously. A top 5 recruiting class and the willingness to coach up and use young talent will prove detrimental to this teams ability to win games. I think Granthams system will be much improved from last year and I think the big hogs on the Oline will be tired of hearing how soft they’ve been. Murray is going to continue to improve, while A.J. gone will hurt a little there are enough talented guys to fill the gap. Get Crowell in and get a much needed boost at TB. Win the east and keep your job coach! GATA forever! GO DAWGS!!!

Looking forward to the 2011 season and turning this thing around. Still have some concerns on Bobo running the offense. Truly feel like we need somebody competent to be the OC. I really hope we hire Friegden and make him the OL and the OC coach. We need somebody with some creativity to confuse the defense. Right now the offense is too predictable and we will be in the same situation as last year. With all of the top coaches in the SEC, we cannot afford to be prredictable. We need to run some 5 WR sets and single RB backfield to be more creative, but all this depends on how well the OL blocks and the type of condition we are in. The first 2 games of 2011 will tell our season. Hopefully we will make a statement for the enitre season in the opener against Boise State.

Defense will be MUCH improved. Another year for the kids to learn Grantham’s system. Pass coverage will be improved. Pass rush should improve (will be spread out amoung multiple players instead of just Houston making it happen). I think they may even get crazy and disguise the blitz next year. Bobo will continue to get better. Think of the numbers the offense has put up the past couple years with first year starters at QB and an anemic run game. Ealey will have a strong year–mark it. He was great as a Freshmen and had the Sophomore blues this year. But will Ken Malcome and now possibly Crowel to push him Ealey will be much improved. UGA will be top 4 in rushing for 2011. TK is a legit #1 receiver while Wooten, Brown,Bennett, Charles,, and Gray will need to provide additional threats. Look for Orson Charles and Aaron White to have huge years.

Look, I don’t want to be one to rain on the parade, but…
How many years do we finish recruing in a flourish? Samuels, King, Ealey were all rated in the top three nationally when seniors in high school. Same with some of these other highly regarded recruits. Most of them never made a difference. Why? Well, some of them were flat overrated. But most of them just received poor coaching: poor fundamentals, laissez faire conditioning, zero discipline, and tolerance of such nonsense as allowing hip hop dancing in the huddle instead of getting your heads into the game focused on winning.
Who is to blame for this? It’s simple although many cannot bring themselves to say it. It is all at the feet of the Tan Man who banks away three million dollars a year for turning the UGA program upside down–Mr Mark Richt, CEO of UGA football and PhD candidate for football theory.
Isn’t this whole thing just nauseating? Think about Bobo for a minute. Any reasonable ordinary person could probably call better offensive game plays than this guy.
I am happy that our recruiting seems to be picking up momentum. I especially like Ray Drew who looks like a determined and focused young man and a leader. But isn’t it disturbing that such a distinguished group of recruits–the Dream Team– will be dependent on the proven incompetent and limp Mark Richt and the abysmal talents of Mike Bobo? I think it is scandalous.
Puting off the inevitable by leaving Richt in charge only delays the day when the UGA can regain its former glory.
