Three UGA players named first-team All-SEC by coaches (w/ full teams)

Three Georgia players are on the coaches’ All-SEC first team, which was named today. That’s two more than on the media’s first team, named Monday.

Outside linebacker Justin Houston was voted to the first team by the league’s coaches, as he was by the Associated Press’ media panel.   Joining Houston on the coaches’ first team are Georgia offensive lineman Clint Boling and placekicker Blair Walsh.

Georgia also has three players on the coaches’ second team: wide receiver A.J. Green, tight end Orson Charles and punter Drew Butler.

If they had a “Lack of Inspiration” team, UGA players and staff would fill it top to bottom… exceptions being Houston and Murray.

No one in their right mind would take Jeffrey or Jones over A. J. Green at WR. Watch the NFL draft and see who the pros think is the best. The only thing more insulting than the bias in the weekly polls are the honors at the end of the season.

I just want to know if Cecil was soliciting his son, why didn’t he ask UT or Oklahoma for money? The ONLY person who talked money was MSU so why isn’t anyone discussing the REAL wrong-doers in all this? If ANYone was trying to cheat, it would be MSU and their booster, Bond. And if Cam did copy a term paper at Florida, WHY is it AUBURN’s fault? Because they recruited him? So was everyone else trying to do the same! So does that make EVERY team who went after Cam a cheat?

Cam was simply having a good time.

He was enjoying the game and doing what he loves.

He was enjoying the moment and leading his team in winning the SEC Championship.

So what SHOULD he have done, in your opinion? NOT smiled? NOT enjoyed it?

He’s a charasmatic, personable kid. People like him. Well, except for you haters who are so consumed with envy and bitterness, it’s pathetic.

They forget that UGA outbid Clemson for Hershel Walker and oh yea; please don’t mention the Jan Kemp scandal for playas not attending class. Can’t wait till Christian “ME” LeMay and his preaching daddy get to town. I promise you the Humpers dont want to talk about a player who was suspended from his highschool team for sexcapades.

HMMM 6-6 georgia puts 6 players on the team, 9-3 Alabama puts 12 players on the team.

#1 Auburn puts only 4 on the All SEC team, and then people wonder why we all say they are a 2 player team (Newton & Fairley).

Next season will be very interesting in the SEC :

USCe returns a ton. They will challenge for the SECE again.
UGA loses Houston and Green, but will be better than 6-6- Murray is the real deal.
FL will find themselves..somehow.
Rocky Top will continue to improve.. they have a great QB- see UGA
AU loses the franchise and the thug…will fall flat on their asses.
The Tide will flounder and Saban will be off to…_____fill in the blank. Denver? Dallas?
LSU will make strides with the ex GA QB.
Miss ST continues to improve under Mullen.
Hotty Toddy wishes he never heard of Masoli.
ARK- do they have a replacement for Mallett?
UK- same ol same ol
Vandy- should stop fielding a team. When Johnson left so did the program.

I promise you A. J. Hawkins from MLK, who started at Center for Ole Miss. and Jujuan James from N. Gwinnett who started at Right Tackle for Tennessee will make the All-SEC Freshman team, and I would guess James will be named Freshman All-America. Searles needs to keep this kids home. Did you see what Roke Watkins out of Creekside who starts at right guard for S. Carolina did to Georgia this year. The same goes for Ray Dominguez, Arkansas starting left tackle out of Bainbridge. He had a great year. I can’t beleive that he and Chance Warmack out of Westlake (Cam Newton’s high school by the way), and starting right guard for the Crimson Tide weren’t named All-SEC. They each had all SEC calibre seasons. I was pleased to see that James Carpenter from Augusta, who started for two years at right tackle for the Crimson Tide and Byron Isom from Lovejoy, starting right guard for Auburn were named second team ALL-SEC. Richt needs to figure it out. Not only is he losing tremendous in-state talent, he ends up empowering the very teams he’s being paid $2.8 million a year to beat. No state in America produces more athletic offensive lineman than the state of Georgia, yet year after year Richt stands by and watches them leave the state, and in a couple of years stands by as they help kick Georgia’s butt. Wait till ya’ll see Ed Christian out of Lowndes Co. line up at OG for Auburn next year, and I can’t wait for Xzavier Ward,a 6′6″ 260 lb. stud out of Colquitt County to commit to Bama. This is crazy but as long as Richt is ok with it, so are we. Keep ‘em coming.

“We would have won 3 more games with A. J. Green.”

This may come as a surprise but UGA lost three games after Green rejoined the team. Lost 3 games without Green and lost 3 games with Green.

Super B, the all SEC teams have no bearing or interest on how it relates to the NFL draft. AJ is where he belongs because he did not play the full year. The vote seems accurate to me. SEC coaches could care less about the value of players vise vie the draft. It is a non-starter for them.

No, it’s really sad and pathetic to read the crybaby remarks from the 6-6ers. Auburn is going to play for the championship and the 6-6ers are heading to the fattest city in America to play a team that most people forgot existed.
