Green……… No one could blame you for taking the money. Not one sould with half a brain…………but, you know better than the rest of us what type of impact you could make on this program for a decade to come if you will give us a full year of your talent. Get your insurance policy (im sure you already have) and give yourself peace of mind that you did your best on behalf of your school and the bulldawg nation while you were here. You made a mistake. We all have. You have handled yourself with total class. The money will be huge. It is not going away!! We needy you Buddy!! You know that! Be the team leader that you can be and get all the guys to rally around the best coach in the Nation.

Auburn was 5-7 two years back. We will be very good next year.

Richt knew that changing the defense was a potential pitfall for this year. It wasn’t just a change of coaches but a change of schemes and philosophy. We saw the beginning of the learning curve, and there are some holes to fill, but Richt and his staff watch the film and they see what we see, and more.

I would love to have AJ and Houston back next year, but they need to focus on the bowl, and then their decisions. In a normal year, I would expect them both to move on and take the money but with the potential for an NFL lockout, this year might be different.

I’m so proud to have a good Christian man leading our Dawgs Football Team and I pray you will stay the at Georgia Coach Richt; I would ask that you get fired up a little more often and push those atheletes and assistants to do their best. Living in Pensacola where we have a Georgia Fan Club can be tough when we seem to lost most every year to the Gators. Please turn that around!

I realize that they are bowl eligible but if they were real men (including the coaching staff and AD) they would respectfully decline since they do not deserve to go to a bowl. Yes,, they have improved as the year progressed but face it they just are not bowl material this year as a team. Some players are but not the team as a whole.

Hey Dawglovr, I respectfully disagree with your logic. The reason you don’t decline a bowl bid is because it allows you to have an additional month of practice. This is very valuable in starting to prepare for next year. In addition, we were only a hand full of plays away from a much better record so I’m not buying the fact that we do not deserve to go to a bowl.

Why do loyal dawg fans continue to support a coach who has a winning record of .732. That seems good if you are satisfied with a 7-4 record every year ok!!!!!!!!!!! Not me!!! There’s some problem as Georgia has been a top 10 school in recruiting 5 of the last 6 years. This with the 12 thug factor equates to a change. If you disagree, you must be satisfied with a contiued derterioration of the program which will not produce 7-4 records. Let Miami have him and his “Richard Petty” sunglasses!!!!!!!!!!!
