Murray: ‘If I had a broken leg, I’m going to play in this game’

ATHENS – Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, held out of practice last week because of a bruised sternum suffered against Auburn, practiced without problem for the second day in a row Tuesday and appears set to start against Georgia Tech.

“I haven’t had any pain in two days,” Murray said Tuesday night. “I feel great throwing the ball. . . . I think I’m ready to play Saturday.”

Earlier Tuesday, coach Mark Richt said: “I think he is going to play.”

Murray, who also suffered a bruised knee and a cut chin against Auburn, said the bruised sternum –- the most significant of the three injuries — occurred early in the game. “I played the majority of the game with it, so . . . I feel like I can play through it if it re-aggravates,” he said.

Murray said he never doubted that he would play against Tech.

“I don’t care if I had a broken leg, I’m going to play in this game,” he said.

Even being a Tech fan, I have to admire his toughness. Scary thought, Murray is doing better his first year than Greene(I went to South Gwinnett and I KNOW how good he was) and Stafford. Still think this game is going to go to the wire, not some crazy blowout. I’m glad he and his teammates who went to the duke game enjoyed themselves, I think it showed sportsmanship from both sides on how low key they kept things and the light ribbing the UGA players received. See you puppies in Athens Saturday. GO TECH!!!!!!.

If attitude was all that counted, and execution didn’t, Murray would win the Heisman this year. Kid has a good attitude, doesn’t execute well when it counts on 3rd downs, in the 4th qrtr, and in the red zone, or against teams with winning records, but he does have a good attitude. And yes, he’ll need to figure out a way to execute better in order to win more than 5 games a year.

He might be a little TOO positive. He might not be able to see or correct his weaknesses.

Murray seems to have the drive to be great, if he ever gets down things like timing, and quicker decision making, he can be great. But it’s a long shot. The kid excels at theory and planning and attitude, struggles with practical stuff like correcting mistakes, timing & execution. Lot of work to do. Not sure he’s the right QB for UGA. Lemay or Mason or Gray, maybe so.

Technical reasons Lemay, Mason or Gray better fit? See below.

What corrections does Murray need to make?
1- too indecisive–waits too long in the pocket
2- doesn’t get the ball to playmakers enough
3- chokes on 3rd down
4- chokes in the 4th qrtr
5- chokes in the red zone
6- overthrows too much–poor timing
7- underthrows too often—gets receivers like Ealey/Durham killed
8- doesn’t use his legs enough–rumor is—he runs pretty well–but only gets 15 yards rushing a game
9- chokes against teams with winning records
10- spends too much time watching film, too little repping mistakes
11- be as accurate when you have a small lead, are tied, or are behind, as you are when you’re up by 15.
12- build trust of teammates by beating more than 1 winning team a year–figure out what leadership is all about

Tough to be critical of Aaron Murray at this point. Best Freshman (redshirt) numbers ever for a UGA QB. He seems to be improving over the course of the year as well. He is getting the ball out quicker and going thru his reads better. He does still force the ball into coverage a little too much but he doesn’t have too many ints. He’s not the reason UGA only has 5 wins, but he will be a big reason why they will soon have 6

Murray is a tough kid, he came back from a broken leg in high school to lead his team to a championship. I believe he would play in the Tech game with a broken leg. The shots he took from Fiarley 2 weeks ago and kept getting up were unbelieveable, some of them were cheap too i might add. One hit I personally saw him take and get back up was when UGA had the ball on our last posession against Arkansas. Ealey missed his block and Murray got blindsided worse than anybody i’ve ever seen. Still got back up. If not for that one missed block we beat Arkansas.
Can’t win them all. Maybe we can squeak bt the techies.

The D also held SC & Miss St to under 20 points, but the offense couldn’t score enough to pull out wins in those 2 games.

Offense won 0 games, and lost 3 (SC, Miss St & Florida).

Marcus-YOu can’t just go by record. Murray doesn’t play defense. THe O_Line & running game hasn’t measured up to expectations either. He also had to play withough AJ Green for 4 games as well. Even when Green did come back…UGA was playing well & had the lead, but once he AJ started to have cramps & had to leave UGA ended up losing. It was like AJ 1st game of the yr., bc he had been out for so long. I’m sure their record wouldn’t have been quite as bad if they had AJ for all those games. Not saying they would have won all those games, but at a least some. UGA was expected to have a really ogod O-Line & RBs this yr., & an inexperienced QB. So, it makes sense that they would not ask Murray to do too much early on. It’s not his fault that the rest of the team turned out not to be as good. He still had some pretty good numbers despite the fact that the coaches hadn’t even turned him loose yet.

Marcus…You my friend do not know what you are talking about. Have you ever even played the game. Murray has had a tremendous year as a redshirt freshman. No way no how is Gray or Mason a better option than Murray. I really do not know what team you have been watching if you are laying our losses on #11. The worst game he has played all year was against Florida and the kid still brought us back. Bad decision in overtime is the only MISTAKE I have seen the kid make that cost us the game. But in reality if we score 31 against the likes of a FL our defense should hold them under that number for a W. So I do not even put that on Murray. Our qb position is great hands for the next few years and I am glad we have him. Murray you are a damn good Dawg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would also be interesting to see what the norm was for third down yards needed was this year. I know that the inability to run on 2nd down, especially earlier in the season, has affected those third down completion rates. As a team, UGA is actually pretty decent nationally, as far as 3rd down conversion, due to (i’m guessing converting the shorter run, and relying on the pass for the longer). would also like to know how those 86 spots break down as far as class. Also conference, SOS, etc. I see some pretty high percentages for some teams that arent very good.

UGA is very highly rated nationally in red zone scoring, and Murray personally is highly rated in points accounted for. I think only 2 SEC QBS are higher rated nationally. only 2 or 3 with a higher overal completion percentage. Then there is the 30+ points streak exceeding any in UGA history deal. So obviously cherry picking stats can be made to say whatever you like.

#84 in the 4th quarter
#89 in the red zone
#74 on 3rd down

If he’s the best Georgia’s seen in a while, no wonder Georgia has had 2 seasons outside the top 25. I’d say he’s the worst QB to ever play at Georgia. Certainly, Murray’s record is the worst under Richt in over 24 seasons.

Really, Georgia’s only shot at a win against Georgia Tech is if the defense forces 3 or 4 to’s, and that will be hard to do, Tech protects the ball pretty well, and doesn’t pass much. I don’t think the defense will be able to bail Murray’s ineptness out this time.

I don’t think the reputed interest elsewhere has any bearing. Richt would be in very high demand any year he chooses to be.

As far as coaching changes: Hard to predict. Lower level position coaches are always coming and going. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of that. I absolutely think there is going to be some revamping of who does what and how. Some combination of symbolic and functional. I do not think Bobo get fired though.

Personally, I think our issues have a lot more to do with recruiting, than play calling. My gut feeling is that they believe they are looking at a couple of really good classes coming up, and reluctant to make major changes right after the Huge shackup in the defensive staff last year. Still a year or more likely two, before that is settled in.

Optimistic, blind, whatever. I just do not see McGarity walking out of those Friday meetings with his hair on fire.

Agree. if UGA had 21 other starters with Murray’s heart and want to, we’d be tough. Offense did cost us some games this year. However, we haven’t played good defense since 2005. We won’t win many big games without luck until we start playing real D. watch the replay of the FL game or Auburn. Once the other team figured us out we didn’t stand a chance to stop them. We score to tie FL and on FL’s next drive it’s obvious we can’t stop them. I was at the game. Didn’t feel so pathetic about defense til watching the replay. 4th quarter they did what they wanted. Pitiful D. Part of our problem is also that CMR has gone so conservative. Who didn’t think when we kick FG against Auburn that it was basically over?

Guess there is solace in knowing we weren’t blown out this year. We spit the bit in almost every big game, either the O turning it over or the D can’t stop anyone. Look at our losses to FL since Richt’s been here. Everyone we have more turnovers. For whatever reason we can’t avoid the TO’s. I think Richt is too conservative. get up 14 on any team and he tries to be nice. Next thing you know it’s a game again. Today’s college football, up 14 means nothing. CMR is out coach. He can turn it around if he changes his attitude. Be nice AFTER the game. Say sorry coach you couldn’t stop us.

Marcus- another thing, Ealey has been good whenever he’s played, he has had some supsensions. Then there have been some games where UGA seems to abandon the run. That’s something they have been known to do. King & Ealey had really good avg. yds. per carry against AU, but they rarely even gave those guys the ball. You’re talking about how Murray should’ve doen more w/ the talent that’s around him, but the offensive players you’ve mentioned have often not even been there for him to utilize. The defensive side of the ball is where they’re lacking the star power.

GA O Line has not played well. They are not physical enough, the running backs have sucked most of the time, Defense is not physical enough, getting beat up and pushed around. Aaron Murray has played better then the rest of the team. He has one receiver to throw to for what 4 or 5 games. If AJ hadn’t done his stupid bit we would have a lot better record. Bottom line our kids are not big and fast as the reset of the SEC. So Marcus to blame the losing on AM shows how much you know about football. Just a thought! When was the last time a GA running back fumbled the ball? When was the last time a GA QB threw an interception???? Why are the running backs benched for fumbling the ball or missing blocks and the QB is not changed for his mistakes? The OL are changed in and out each week because of their effectiveness or lack thereof. I know you do not bench the qb for his mistakes but what is our fumble to interception ratio? Do we have more fumbles than interceptions? Quick scoring and the lack of using the running game helps put pressure on the defense especially when the other team controls the clock on the ground or by mixing it up in the play calling…i.e. UF and UA games!!! Yes we caught up or kept up…But we never controlled the clock nor did we give the defense a break. What is our time of possession compared with our opponents this year?

Murray has more pro potential than any freshman (r/s) QB I have seen at UGA in 30 years. We need to continue focusing on blocking and establishing the running game before letting him loose with his tremendous arm. We need to get more speed on defense and defend better against the mid to long passes.

I dont agree with Marcus at all. But I also do not think it is accurate to say the Logan Gray is an awful QB. The kid barely got a chance. I dont feel that to this day we have ever utilized this kid right. We should run wildcat with him occasionally but let him THROW out of it. The Wildcat never worked here because everyone on the D knew that when Gray came in, he would run the ball.

Any QB that Georgia has would have won those 5 games. Idaho State–defense shutout? Win. Louisiana Lafayette defense holds to 7 points? Win. Vanderbilt–defense holds to 7 points? Win. Kentucky–spotted with 4 turnovers from the defense? Win. Tennessee–spotted with 3 turnovers form the defense–Win. The wins have absolutely ZERO to do with Murray and everything to do with the defense, and the lousy level of competition in those 5 games.

Marcus, you got to know the Georgia fans don’t like bad news. They want to think that they’re 5-6 has nothing to with Aaron Murray. They want to blame it on the defense, or on a coach, really, anyone, or anything, but Aaron Murray. They just don’t want to consider that their QB is ranked 89th in the country. Unfortunately, neither does Mark Richt. Mark Richt refuses to bench Murray, regardless of how bad Murray plays. And that’s how you get to 5-6, playing favorites, killing team morale by rewarding your QB with more starts, even though he’s ranked at the bottom in SO MANY AREAS.

I know Colt McCoy said that he is one of the most impressive players that he has seen in person. But I am here to tell you that the kid is not that good! Granted he may break all these freshmen records for QB and end up having the best freshmen year at QB in UGA history. But believe me! My credentials speak for themselves. How else do you think I am able to post on the AJC without knowing what I am talking about? There are enough hard statistics at this juncture to prove/invalidate your subjective, amateur opinions. Please feel free to do some objective homework. Richt and Bobo have a wealth of quarterback experience between them, both as coaches and players. I don’t see how anyone can try and pin the 5-6 season on the O-Line, I mean, after all, they’re the #12 most experienced O-Line in the country, with 155 starts.

This says it all. No further comment is necessary. For gosh sakes don’t go get a job at least flipping burgers somewhere. We’re (people who work) paying for Marcus to live in a delusional world and play fantasy football. Another sign the apocalypse is upon us.

“I have had plenty of time to scout this kid being that I am unemployed and have been since June however I do manage a football team and have for 5 years now. It is a Fantasy Football team but I am currently in 7th place in my league and I have a shot at the playoffs. So stop listening to all these so called experts and start listening to me. Trust me I know what I am talking about”

The RB’s can’t be blamed either. Ealey’s had 9 td’s on only 128 carries. Right at 5 yards a carry, so is Caleb King.

Really?

November 24th, 2010

Preston – Really? It doesn’t matter what about how many starts they have! It matters how they do in the game. Coming into the season it seemed like they would be very good! But that is not the case. BTW you are including Chris Davis in those numbers that you posted and he lost his starting job to a true freshmen about 4 or 5 games ago because he wasn’t getting the job done. Nuff said!

Can’t blame coaching. Team has really improved in many areas such as to margin, penalties, kick off coverage, etc. Defense & Special teams improved dramatically. Offense has had 5 games in a row scoring 30+ points since AJ got back.

Kenneth

Wide receivers have been stellar, just like last year. King leads the team with over 20 yards a catch, Durham’s over 20 a catch, Charles is at 16 yards a catch, AJ’s at 15 yards a catch too, all these guys had a great year, just like last year with Joe Cox, they’re not the problem.

Marcus- finally you provide some links. However they don’t back up your beliefs! LOL

Marcus

November 24th, 2010
11:14 am

And another from ESPN comapring Cam Newton who is also terrible to Murray

“After completing a review of the game tape and metrics for Murray both on his own and in a head-to-head comparison with Newton. It turns out there is ample evidence to believe he is capable of keeping up with the Heisman Trophy front-runner on a pass-for-pass basis.

Marcus

November 24th, 2010
11:16 am

As impressive as Murray’s totals are at a glance, there are three areas that look even better upon closer inspection.
The first of these is Murray’s bad decision rate (a bad decision being defined as when a quarterback makes a mistake with the ball that leads either to a turnover or a near turnover, such as a dropped interception). In the five games against the Bulldogs’ toughest SEC opponents (South Carolina, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Kentucky and Florida), he had only three bad decisions in 128 dropbacks.

Marcus

November 24th, 2010
11:17 am

Divide those together and it equals a bad decision rate of 2.3 percent. That would be a quality figure for even an NFL quarterback, but it is more notable here because it wasn’t tallied in a dink-and-dunk offense. Proof of this can be found in the 55 vertical passes Murray threw in these games (a vertical pass being an aerial that is thrown 11 or more yards downfield).

Marcus

November 24th, 2010
11:18 am

That means 43 percent of his attempts were chucked long distances. Most offenses devote somewhere between 30-40 percent of their throws to the vertical route depths, and yet Richt has allowed his first-year starter to top that mark in these contests in large part because he knows Murray won’t force passes into coverage.

Marcus

November 24th, 2010
11:21 am

Really?, You wanted evidence that backs up my views. There you go!

Marcus

November 24th, 2010
11:21 am

Another reason Richt lets his quarterback stretch the field is his phenomenal numbers on bomb routes (defined as aerials thrown 30 or more yards downfield). Murray completed 7 out of 16 bomb passes for 325 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions against the best SEC teams Georgia has faced this year

Go Dawgs!

November 24th, 2010
11:30 am

Marcus….I don’t even know where to begin with you kid.

Being 5-6 has more to do with the fact that our defense has switched to a 3-4 from a 4-3.

Look kid, if a defense gives up an avg of 15pts or less then it’s on the offense if they lose the game.

If the offense scores 24 or more and they lose that’s on the defense.

UGAs offense this year has avg 30+ pts per game, so if you want to look for reasons UGA is 5-6 look no further than a new defensive scheme with young players still learning.

Keep telling yourself Murray’s not a good QB if that helps you sleep at night, but you will hardly find anyone with any football acumen to back you up.

Facts

November 24th, 2010

Altamaha:

Completely agree with you on Murray. He is one of only a handful of players that played well for the Dawgs this year. Houston, Dobbs, Butler, and a few others.

Disagree with you about Richt being marketable and continuing to be so as a major college head coach. When CU fired their coach and there was a rumor they might go after Richt… the sports radio call in shows in Colorado were interesting:

One very knowledeble host that likes Georgia and loves college football made the point: Why would we want to hire Richt? He got outcoached twice by the guy we just fired? Hawkins beat Richt this year and was the only guy Hawkins seemed to be able to outcoach. During Hawkins first year as a CU coach he went into Athens and completely outcoached that staff despite a last minute tough loss (which I have to agree with). He ran the same 3 plays over and over and over and Georgia couldn’t stop it.

He went on to say, Richt didn’t beat anyone this year despite having upper echelon SEC talent. What is he going to do in Boulder with a bunch of 3 star players. Ain’t no AJ’s in Pueblo wanting to go to CU, ain’t no Aaron Murray’s in Arvada, ain’t no Knowshon’s or Stafford’s in Littleton gonna be playing for the Buff’s, so how is Richt going to do any better than the guy we just fired?

Everyone who called in agreed that they didn’t want CU to even consider Richt. Now, that doesn’t mean that they are right, but that is a sample of the national perception of Richt right now, fair or unfair.

Now, if he turns it around in Athens next year, he might be marketable again, but outside the South, I don’t think many people are going to offer him $2M plus to coach their football team. If he loses 5 or 6 games again, I wouldn’t want to be his agent.

South Carolina? Threw a pass to a guy in triple coverage who got slammed and fumbled on the goal-line. Couldn’t complete deep balls.

Arkansas? Had the ball at the end of the game, took a sack, when he only needed 20 yards to get into field goal range.

Colorado? Handed the ball off on the 20, when he shouldn’t have, resulting in a fumble, also choked when AJ went out of the game for 1 quarter.

Florida? Only 3 interceptions and a fumble. In his 10th game. Not his 1st game. His 10th game. – (Against one of the best D’s in football and made up for it by leading the team back in the 2nd half)

South Carolina? Threw a pass to a guy in triple coverage who got slammed and fumbled on the goal-line. Couldn’t complete deep balls. (Actually Ealey fumbled on the goal line on a run not a pass you dolt and he completed a long pass to Durham)

Arkansas? Had the ball at the end of the game, took a sack, when he only needed 20 yards to get into field goal range. (If the oline doesn’t block and his recievers don’t get open and he gets sacked how is that his fault?)

Colorado? Handed the ball off on the 20, when he shouldn’t have, resulting in a fumble, also choked when AJ went out of the game for 1 quarter.(How is he suppose to know before handing a ball off that the RB is going to fumble? I guess if he was a psychic)

On the subject of AJ. While I agree that playing college FB (or BB) would probably rank at the top of “funnest things to do”, AJ would indeed be foolish to come back for another “fun” year, since I doubt that he is a pre-med or pre-law student, or even computer science, math, chemistry, accounting, etc., major. I would ask Fairley about Murray, but all he would be able to say is, “yeah, I late hit & got me some dirties in on that boy”, so I would rather not speak to trash.

As far as Marcus goes, I think the people “stealing” your handle make more sense than you do, so you should apppreciate them. You seriously can not believe that Gray is better than Murray. Running? Are you talking about when Gray is in for a kickoff return & either fair catches, takes a knee or runs backwards?

Murray is a baller & a damn good Dawg! He’s done great this season & will continue to be great. I was looking forward to watching Mett as QB & wasn’t sure about Murray, but he has proven himself over & over. He has taken big hits & bounced right back up. Fairley did hurt him in the AU game & not from clean hits. That’s the difference.

For those blaming this & that for the losses, they came as a whole. Each loss was different & for different reasons. Our coaching needs to improve on & off the field and so do our players.

I hope to end the regular season on a great note by beating Tech. For those of you trolls making fun of us going to a “not so glamorous bowl” after we beat Tech, who cares? It’s a bowl & gives our seniors another game. We’ve had a bad season & it’s been tough on our fans, but who hasn’t from time to time? I can say this, it has & always will be GREAT to be a Georgia Bulldog! Fair-weather fans, we don’t want or need you in the Bulldog Nation, only the tried & true!

Here’s to a great game this weekend! (and AJ & Houston deciding to stay one more year) A girl can wish!

Could any of you handle the pressure you are putting on him at his age or at any age?
I get frustrated when Tech loses and they don’t perform to “MY” expectations but these kids lay it on the line every week for the sheer love of the game. So while we (fans) beat our chest each week when our team wins while we had absolutely nothing to do with their success.

Only an absolute moron would fail to see that Aaron Murray has just had statistically the best season at QB for UGA in several years.

My guess is that Marcus is an armchair quarterback that has never strapped on a helmet in his entire life, who constantly needs to be on the contrary to those real jocks who actually do know what they are talking about. I know his type.

Get a clue. Georgia lost 6 games because teams stacked 8 in the box, stopped the run, and forced Murray to beat them. And he didn’t.

Interesting Murray stat.

3rd and 10+ yards to go? How’s “Choke City” Murray?
1) Ranked #99 in passing yards
2) ranked #89 in passing accuracy

He’s a choker folks.

Tech seem to think that Murray is pretty and the fact that there own records show we pass 70% of the time on third down and on third and 10+ Murray is converting 47% of the time isn’t too bad. so again unless you can post some sources to your numbers they are just numbers…but Tech is pretty worried about him. They also seem to think he is deadly accurate on third down as well

Teck does not have the defense to hang in there with UGA. I do fear their running game but Georgia will easily outscore the bees. The DAWG has a bigger bite!

Tech is not worried about Aaron Murray. They will run 8 in the box.

On 3rd and 10+ to go, Murray’s completion accuracy is 89th in the NCAA. And his yards (120), rank #99.

Right about the 47% accuracy, but that’s 89th best in the NCAA.

Dalton completes 69% on 3rd and 10+.

Joe Cox was at 53% on 3rd and 10+, and 310 yards last season.

Murray’s at 47% on 3rd and 10+, for 120 yards.

Aaron Murray is going to prove himself. He is getting better and better every game and he will probably go the distance and play all four years, not bailing out for big bucks…(that’s the way college football should be). I, myself, instantly disrespect those whom have been given a full ride for a scholarship and bail for the bucks. There are too many “unknowns”, who, if given the chance, could step up and make a name for themselves and be players. Instead, everything at the high school level is based on a “star” recruiting basis…four or five…and that is based on media coverage which we don’t have where we live….we live in a rural area where so much talent is overlooked because the buck$ aren’t there to promote the athletes and the coaches are busy TEACHING and not recruiting….just sayin’…and yes, I have friends in Buckhead, Roswell, Marietta, East Cobb, etc. who truly don’t understand what it means to come from a background where one doesn’t have the fund$ to promote one’s child to excellence…and have lost not only friends, but respect, for those heartless individuals who can’t see the “other side”.

Surprised, we won’t have a loss on Saturday, it will be a W.

GTfan11, most of us Dawgs love Murray! The only ones on this board who are talking trash about him are, well, let’s just say, not Dawgs fans. Actually had a lot of you techies come on here & praise him, just like you did. But as I said, we love Murray!!! You would really have to read all the posts to figure out who said he sucks & they aren’t one of us.

Go Dawgs! Can’t wait to finally be under the lights again!!! Last one for me was last year’s AU game. Whew, I love Sanford stadium at night.

Also, “forgot your posted name”, you are right on target! I hate when these guys bail. I understand the injury factor, but seriously, we give a lot of money to the school, just as other alums do for their schools & we believe in them staying. Who knows if a game ending injury would happen in their first game in the NFL? Education should be the first & foremost. That’s why I’m praying AJ listens to his Mom & stays. I just have a feeling he will. I respect the guy for his honesty & that this is really weighing heavily on him. Not like with Stafford & Moreno who simply said, “see you later!”.

Go Dawgs! Sic ‘em!

Prety easy to beat the Murray kid. Just score on him first. Go up by 7, he ain’t ever won a game when that happens. The kid doesn’t respond to adversity well, 0 for 6.

Kid talks like he’s tough.

But he don’t play like he’s tough.

Get up on him 7-0, and he gives up.

Not tough.

Never comes back and wins from behind.

No mental toughness.

0-6 in games where opponent scores first.

Murray is a player.

UGA will be talking about him for a lot of years after he is gone.

He has guts and smarts.

Looking forward to next year UGA football.

Murray is a gamer, and a great kid. You guys are very lucky to have him, as a yong man, ambassador of the program, and an athlete.

His senior year, he broke his leg, came back earlier than anyone expected, took his cast off, and limped his way to a state championship. Everyone in the Tampa Bay area was pulling for him and his team.

His HS stats were incredible, but one thing he also did was scramble out of trouble. In watching some of your games, it looked to me that it took an adjustment to learn that he couldn’t run away from everyone in college like he did in HS. Looks to me like he’s figured it out now, and my Yellow Jackets are in trouble.

As much as I dislike UGA, I will never say anything bad about this kid.

Aaron Murray is the reason UGA almost lost. He should have gone out there on defense and stopped the triple option on his own. And his completion rating was a horrid 79% with 271 yards and 3 touchdowns. Are you kidding me? He is the worst QB ever to play at UGA.
