The football game between Georgia and Georgia Tech in Athens on Nov. 27 will kick off at 7:45 p.m. and be televised on ESPN, it was announced Monday.
The game will be Georgia’s first — and only — this season to be played in Sanford Stadium at night. The Bulldogs’ previous five home games started in the noon hour. Also, this will mark the first time a Georgia-Georgia Tech game has been played in Athens at night, UGA confirmed.
Georgia, which doesn’t play this week, will enter the game with a 5-6 record. Tech will be 6-5 or 5-6, depending on Saturday’s game against Duke.
ESPN picked up the Tech-Georgia game after CBS, which has first choice among games in SEC stadiums, chose LSU-Arkansas for its 3:30 p.m. telecast on Nov. 27.

you didn’t see the game LIVE or on TV? The announcers said that the Auburn guys stayed on the sidelines as the UGA players rushed the 11 Auburn players on the field.
M
You are in DeNile. The SEC(if they ware not scared) would enforce their OWN RULES, but the SEC wants UGA to get a shot at a bowl for the money. If the SEC wasn’t a JOKE and ment what they said UGA would have to sit most of the UGA Starters and Lose to an ACC team for sure. UGA could lose to TECH with all their players or they could win, but It is a toss-up. The SEC will not enforcet their won rules because they are SKEERED UGA will lose and it will hurt the SEC IMAGE.

CJ, all this game time means is that we have to wait all day for UGA to smack us. Every Tech fan knows it’s coming. Y’all will get to smacktalk to us for another year. Just be gentle! Ha.
Truth be told, this game should be played at 3:00 A.M. on ESPNU, just after the Purdue-Northwestern women’s field hockey game.

Tech wouldn’t be bowl eligible this year if it played a real schedule (and I don’t even mean only an SEC schedule… I mean a Big 10 schedule, a Big 12 schedule, or a Pac 10 schedule)… oh, and do any Tech fans have the courage to admit that Paul Johnson isn’t good? His own recruits don’t seem to work nearly as well as Chan’s recruits in his Mickey Mouse system… Let me list out the wins that GT has had this season and I’d like for Tech fans to tell me which one they are most proud of: South Carolina State, UNC, Wake Forest, Virginia, Middle Tennessee State University. Seriously, great job Paul Johnson… I’m sure this is exactly what every Tech fan had in mind when they said you’d go undefeated this year…
Are you serious?

Yes, UGA players were on the field but not any further than most coaches when calling a time out, and none of them did anything to warrant a suspension, like throwing a punch. So, your fantasy of beating UGA because a lot of players are suspended will not come true. Or, and neither will the one about Princess Leia….

Call out the GSP, ACC, Bogart, and Gwinnett police departments. That game will be DUI CENTRAL and DATE R.PE CENTRAL. IF UGA loses I hope the UGA wives and girlfriends can get away before the drunk’n beatings start. God only knows what kind of “COLORFUL” Language your children, wives, or girlfriends will have to hear after the Dawgs get to Drink ALL DAY.

You need to read the rules and the players that left the sidelines were farther on the field than you are willing to admit. Go to YouTube and watch it again. On Barnhart and Duram and listeren sent a list, but that list included players that just stepped past the white of the Sideline. I let them go, but Many UGA players were more than 10yrds into the field of play.

WARNING!!!
Tech players – be VERY careful.
If you tackle the Georgia players hard, their fans will cry and yell that you’re playing dirty. They don’t like it if you actually play physical. They’ll even have half their team storm the field and try to instigate a fight.
Fair warning.

you are concerned with players stepping 10 feet onto the field, and yet your Farley has been hitting QB’s late all season. This helps explain why your school will soon be on probation and why you accept a thief/cheat as your hero! War Beagle!
