Don’t blame DISH they are trying to save you money. If they are forced to pay the Fox increase fee then the cost is passed onto you. DISH tried to get everyone the game on CH9664 &9667 but these stations were blacked out by Fox…in essence they locked the front door with sports south and as you tried to go in the back door they locked it too. Screw Fox!!

Sam, reforms after Kemp (reforms so strict that they had Munson whining that “they’re trying to turn us into another Vanderbilt”), Harrick fired, Evans fired. A certain retrograde group complains that the UGa police pick on athletes and regard Kemp as a villain, but far from all of us. No humiliating loss to Florida will ever embarrass me the way Harrick Jr.’s basketball final exam does.

The party school thing? I supposed that is a real thing, but it too is far from universal. I’m a high school teacher in communication with many very bright former students over there. They work hard and honor the school with their behavior.

Watching the game and enough excuses for the defense. We cannot stop anyone. This defense should be coming together by now and they look worse each week. It’s time to bench Rambo, and put Ogletree in the game. Rambo is always out of place and can’t tackle anyone. Grantham needs to change some players on defense and they still are missing too many assignments. The OL still giving up way too many sacks and still not controlling the line of scrimmage. We need a new offensive regime. We are too far in the season to still be playing this sorry. Green makes a difference but, when he’s out of the game, we must find a way to keep the offense moving. We must change OC, OL, RB and WR coaches in the offseason. Team still lacks a lot of discipline on both sides of the ball, especially on the defense.

You can stick a fork in this season … it’s done. Georgia’s lack of intensity, concentration and discipline costs it another ball game. CMR’s time is done. He can’t get the players up. Colorado looked like a BCS finalist against Georgia. Most of the time Georgia did not have a clue what was going on. I’ve never seen running backs who can’t hold the ball. It’s over, it’s done, go Alabama. I am of mind to say CMR needs to be fired now. No waiting until the off season. This is as bad as I have seen a UGA program in some time. He has lost total control this program. There is no way he can salvage this season. Not even upsetting UF. This team will most likely be an underdog in every remaining game. From stupid on field mistakes to coordinators in way over their head (Bobo). to the multitude of off field prooblems and arrests… CMR righted the UGA ship coming in, but it is apparrent he is not the man to get UGA over the hump to be a consistent Top 10 team and NC contender. It is sad to see the state that UGA football is in. I for one am glad I am in Afghanastan and can’t see this pitiful display of football. If Mark Richt’s first call is not to his wife to contact a realtor, I am confused. This is a disgrace! I will provide one statistic for you. At halftime, AJ Green had 7 receptions for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns, along with 40 yards rushing. The game is now over. AJ Green ended the game with 7 receptions, 119 yards and 2 touchdowns, along with 40 yards rushing. Mike Bobo was a joke at quarterback and clearly the worst full season starter to play the position in over 30 years. He is an equally bad offensive coordinator. This all rests with Mark Richt, who has clearly lost control of the program. We look undisciplined and we can not complete a game without making HUGE mistakes.

Toughest times I have ever known as a 40 year dawg fan…I don’t remember it this bad during Golf or Donnan years….I have never seen a team so disfunctional and unable to do anything right. I agree…I think you turn the program over to graduate assistants and let the entire staff go…bring in an interim coach who can bring a drill sargent mentality to get this team under control. Time to take drasticly serious measures.

I hate to beat the drum over and over…but altitude = low humidity and less oxygen = cramps if you don’t drink fluids nearly constantly (even if you aren’t thirsty).

Unbelieveable. A truely stunning season at 1-4. The hardest part of our schedule is ahead of us, and there is no hope to recover from an incredible four loss skid. The coaches have no answers, and the players don’t seem to care. I can’t bring myself to believe firing CMR is the answer, but he needs to be called in for a closed door meeting and asked if his heart is really in this thing. Meanwhile, I think you bag the season. Don’t fire Bobo until after signing day unless you can land a bigtime OC, and just ride out the storm. However, there are some people who need to be thrown off the boat come December.

Much like the Braves, Richt’s luck has run out on him. If you all think back at how many games Georgia has barely scraped out a win against lesser competition or had a miracle play save them. Richt has survived on winning two SEC titles during relatively down year in the league (especially 2005) and catching fire late in 2007 and trouncing an overmatched Hawaii team. Has he ever had a dominant team with all the talent that ends up in the NFL? Nope. The 2008 season showed that the Georgia staff cannot coach talent and the last two seasons have shown that the staff can’t recruit OR coach talent. He lost the fanbase and don’t be surprised when donations and season ticket renewals drop drastically if a change is not made

Hummon, you’re right on. Heartbreaking loss tonight, but there were many good things in the game. It was exciting to see the effort made by the TEAM including the coaches. Tonight was Georegia’s time to lose, but all in all it was an exciting game. So many good, positive young people and efforts are made at UGA. It’s hard to read the rants and name calling that goes on here. Disappointment and other emotional responses to losses are understandable, but the vicious hurtful name calling is uncalled for and unnecssary .

For the life of me I do not understand what Richt and Bobo were thinking when they decided to try a trick play when Georgia was in field goal range and still had a good shot to win, in spite of their errors. Like a lot of the previous posters I wanted Georgia to score the touchdown rather than put Blair in the position of having to win the game by a field goal. Unlike last week Georgia played with a lot of heart but it was sickening to watch the players being robbed of their chance of winning by poor play calling. Something is VERY wrong when we lose to a team that got shellacked 52-7 by California. Under Goff or Donnan, we would probably have pulled it out. I’ve said this before – Richt is doing his best to turn Georgia into FSU North, trying to win games by trickery and finesse. That will NOT work in the SEC. It’s hard to believe that my high school alma mater has a better record at this point than Georgia.

Close, but no cigar.

At least we saw some improvement, and AJ was awesome, as usual.

The defense still often looks lost. When their quarterback is scrambling and desperate to find a receiver, there’s no excuse for him being able to find one wide open. Dawgs had 100 years to cover and weren’t there.

Aaron continues to sparkle. He’s going to be fine. Can’t wait for next year.

Not going to blame Walsh. Nobody’s perfect.

Caleb had some good runs. Dent was solid, and glad he was able to get back in.

Mistakes again, and an inability to finish. But some definite improvement.

Keep working, guys.

Well…..Florida proved they are not yet ready for prime time….but I think their season is a lot brighter looking that Georgia’s season right now. At least Florida came out in the second half and played Bama head to head and can build off of that….although I am not sure if the Gator offensive coordinator understands that Brantley is a down the field thrower and not an option QB. The Gators need to make some changes to the offense if Brantley is to continue as the QB….or go with Trey Burton at QB if they want to run the spread. I think the Gators will bounce back big next week. Georgia….oh well.
