Playboy names two UGA players to preseason All-America team

Two Georgia players, wide receiver A.J. Green and punter Drew Butler, were named Monday to Playboy Magazine’s 2010 Preseason All-America football team.
This marks the first time since 1982 that Georgia placed two players on the Playboy preseason team, which the magazine has chosen annually since 1957.
In all, at least 18 other Georgia players have been on Playboy preseason All-America teams over the years: Knowshon Moreno (2008), Quentin Moses (2006), Jon Stinchcomb (2002), Richard Seymour (2000), Matt Stinchcomb (1998), Eric Zeier (1994), Bernard Williams (1993), Terry Hoage (1983), Jimmy Payne (1982), Herschel Walker (1981-82), Rex Robinson (1979-80), Bill Krug (1977), Joel Parrish (1976), Royce Smith (1971), Jake Scott (1968), Bill Stanfill (1968), Lynn Hughes (1966) and Edgar Chandler (1966).

The rest made good money which is the reason to go to college in the first place. Not to get a degree in women’s studies.

You got to love Georgia fans. Have you ever seen a punter get more pre-season attention by a fan base? It won’t be long, “Drew Butler for the Heisman!” Hey Dawg fans, with the amount of punting this guy is going to be doing this year, he very well may be a Heisman candidate.
