Let’s be clear on this.

Tech sucks.

Anyone who thinks that AJ Green is going to come back, and find every team hitting on just only him with no running back added to assist this moribund offense and no quarterback with even 1 single snap to step up next year and lead us on offense, is out of his mind.

It is a very sorry sad losing group of seniors we have for 2010. There are not good players as seniors again next season.

We had another 4 fumbles and could have been 5 fumbles when Caleb King cannot even hold onto the damn football again too.

“Well, if you take away the 5 more fumbles and the 75 more yards in penalties, we could have should have, won.”

What B.S.

Those are the same guys who we get back again next year, you sit there and try to say are so damn great.

You want to tell who is going to play secondary for UGA next year ? We don’t have, and have not had a secondary.

Who is going to play special teams tacking the opponents on kick-offs and punting ? We don’t have and have not had anyone manning those positions, either.

We have 2 senior fullbacks next year, who in their 5 years here, we have not given the ball to, at all. There is no fullback recruited for next season, and there are no junior fullbacks, no sophomore fullbacks, and no freshman fullbacks. And, again none recruited for next season.

We cannot evaluate talent, and we cannot see the holes we have and then go out and fill those holes.

To those of you who say that Brian VanGorder is great, excuse me. The Falcons defense totally sucks.

Measured against the Final AP Poll of True Top 25 teams, Coach Richt’s “coaching staff” in his 9 years here now, are 17-20 against the Top 25 Final AP Poll teams with now an astonishing 7 Losses to teams not in the Top 25 Final AP Poll.

You play a 1-AA team. You get no credit for the win. If you lose, the loss counts.

Against Final AP Poll Top 25 teams, then, in the Coach Richt Era, we are in fact a true 17-27.

How can you go a full football season, not knowing who your tailback is ?

Who has any NFL experience on this entire “coaching staff” ?

This offensive line, which has done nothing for years and years and has no one from it headed to the NFL, who does nothing but jump offside like they don’t know the snap count themselves, and who spend their off-seasons making the headlines in the AJ-C as Arrested/Suspended, finds 10 players who are juniors and seniors next season.

We have once again, done what we always do on the OL, and that is to have recruited a grand total of 5 players for the freshman and sophomore classes, and we have 2 more we are trying to recruit for next year. 2.

What’s wrong with this picture ? 10 seniors and juniors and only 5 sophomores and freshmen, with adding only 2 possibly at most for next season.

Quarterback, next season, we have no one who has taken 1 snap. Not 1. We have no senior QB next season. We have a guy who returns punts by calling fair catch, and let him throw the interception to the best player on Florida’s team at his own goal line, with no one else on the play anywhere to be found. He will be a junior next year, and other than that 1 snap has not played at QB at all. And, besides this punt returner who only calls fair catches, as QB for next year, no one else has taken a snap at QB. We recruited 0 Quarterbacks as seniors. We recruited 0 Quarterbacks as sophomores. We have 2 redshirt freshmen as Quarterbacks and that is it. We recruited 0 quarterbacks for next season’s recruiting class. There is hope for 1 of the Quarterbacks, but all we heard from Coach Richt’s “coaching staff” is that they are both light years away from being ready.

Transition year. So, that is the definition of a transition year next year.

6-5.We are 6-5.

That’s 11 games.

We have rushed the football a grand total of 352 times in 11 games.

32 rushes per game all season long.

We still don’t know who our tailback is. Coach Richt says it is Caleb King.

Caleb King is 3rd on the team in rushing yards.

3rd.

Coach Richt then puts Washaun Ealey, whom he just ripped the redshirt off of after 5 games had been lost for the season, in on the goal line and wonder why we had a fumble at the 1-yard line which would have tied lowly Kentucky. Not beat them, but tied them.

21 fumbles.

We have fumbled the football 21 times this season.

Of the 12 fumbles by our opponents, we have recovered a grand total of 1 all season.

We have played 11 games at 6-5.

We have zero running backs who have approached 100 rushing attempts.

The most carries per game for any running back on this team is 9.

We are a passing team, then, right ?

We have thrown 16 interceptions.

We have intercepted 7 of our opponents’ passes.

We have 3 guys in the 18-22 range for passes caught this season, and 1 guy with 47. After that no one on the team has anywhere near 10 catches on the entire season in 11 games.

The 3 guys in the 18-22 catches on the season range in 11 games total average 1 point whatever catches per game, for 11 games.

And, you say that we will be great next year.

Marlon Brown ?

This “coaching staff” announced that he cannot block downfield and therefore will not get on the field.

Marlon Brown is not redshirted.

We have played Marlon Brown in 6 games this season.

2 catches all season long for Marlon Brown.

We ripped the redshirt off Marlon Brown for 2 catches this season.

No wonder he spouted off in the media about this B.S. “coaching staff” of lies, misrepresentations, and hype about a football program who has been no where and who is going no where.

Score by Quarters reveals that we score a lot fewer points in the 3rd and 4th quarters than our opponents do. We are not in good shape. We don’t have stamina. We don’t have depth on our depth chart to have fresh players in the 4th Quarter.

18.We have given our opponents 1st downs 18 times on penalties.

17.We have 17 first downs per game for 11 games. Atrocious.

We have punted the ball twice per game, even with 16 interceptions and 21 fumbles.

We have, therefore, almost 6 possessions a game where we accomplish nothing.

Our opponents have more kick return yards and more punt return yards than we do, and they have been the ones kicking off, not us.

Our opponents have a higher kick return average and a higher punt return average than we do.

6.We are 6 penalties away from 100 for the season. We have 800 yards of penalties.

We only have been sacked 11 times all year, once per game, for 11 games. This is because we prefer to teach our quarterbacks, who also had 0 snaps before this season started, as the ones next year will have, to throw interceptions than to take a sack or throw it away.

For years now, we have taught our quarterbacks to throw interceptions.

That is because we don’t have a back-up quarterback who even gets to play in games.

And, we obviously will continue that trend again next season, with no QB with any snaps on the entire roster.

Again.

Read that to mean MORE INTERCEPTIONS next year.

The only quarter we have more points than our opponents, is the 2nd quarter.

We start out kind of slow, then fizzle out all together.

Branden Smith is 1 touchdown away from leading all running backs. He has 2 TD.

We have given Branden Smith the football 16 times in 11 games. He has 211 yards rushing, nearly leads the team in TD by 1 with his measly 2, and averages over 13 yards a carry.
Too obvious that that is working, and NOTHING ELSE.

16 times, not even one a half carries a game.

Munzenmaier has 6 carries all season and Chapas 2.

One would think, of all the running backs, those 2 only have hope of NFL.

8 times all season, the FB have been handed the football.

8 in 11 games Fullbacks have carried the ball.

In a season, bereft of running backs.

God Almighty.

The Back-up QB has thrown 5 completions all season long. 11 games, less than half a completion per game.

Oh, he has thrown 2 interceptions.

AJ. Green has 6 TD.

11 games and AJ Green has 6 TD.

And, for this, you say, he is coming back to be a part of this great and wondrous team.

Brandon Boykin averages 25 yards per kickoff return.

Branden Smith averages 16 yards per kickoff return.

So, why in heaven’s name does Branden Smith, who fumbled the Kentucky kickoff to cost us the game, have 13 kickoff returns ?

Because this coaching staff doesn’t know that Branden Smith should be getting those touches as running back, not as kickoff returner.

We don’t know who should be returning kickoffs nor who should be rushing the football as a running back.

We also don’t know who should be our quarterback.

Nor who should be playing secondary.

Do you know who has a fumble recovery this entire season ?

Rennie Curran. 1 fumble recovery by the entire team.

Our Opponents have fumbled the ball a dozen times. We have 1 of them.

We said Richard Samuel is our Best Running Back. Now, we say Richard Samuel is so bad, he should not even get on the field and take a snap.

We started Richard Samuel at Tailback for the first 6 games.

Now, he rides the bench.

Which is it ?

Starting Tailback or doesn’t even see the field ?

How wrong can this “coaching staff” be on personnel deciding who should even play and who should not ?

Tavarres King is our Starter this year. Did you know that ? Tavarres King has a grand total of 1 TD in 11 games, as Starter. He is 4th on the team in receptions.

Starter. 1 TD. 4th in receptions.

What’s that all about ?

Did you know Arthur Lynch is our Starter ?

Arthur Lynch started, like Tavarres King, against Kentucky too.

Arthur Lynch has 2 catches all season long. 2.

Starter.

Arthur Lynch started against Arizona State, LSU, Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, and Kentucky.

2 catches.

All season long combined.

Michael Moore. Did you know Michael Moore is our Starter ?

Of course, Michael Moore is gone now after 2 more games. But, I bet no one knew he was our Starter.

Zach Renner. I bet you didn’t know Zach Renner is our Starter too, now did you ?

Zach Renner started against Arizona State, LSU, Tennessee Tech and Kentucky.

Jonathan Owens and Kevin Perez are Starters this season. Did you know that ?

Derek Rich. Did you know that Derek Rich has started each of the last 3 games ?

Montez Robinson. Did you know Montez Robinson has Started 4 games this season ?

Against Auburn, Montez Robinson was our Starter. Against Kentucky, he didn’t play.

Branden Smith Started against Florida. Otherwise, Branden Smith is not good enough to be one of our Starters.

Vernon Spellman is a Starter for us. Did you know that ?

Kiante Tripp Started 2 of the last 3 games, but against Kentucky, he too, did not play.

DeAngelo Tyson has Started 5 games this season.

Kade Weston did NOT Start the first 3 games this season.

Aron White has Started 11 games this season. He has 9 catches and dropped pass after pass last night. Orson Charles has more than twice as many catches and is a star NFL player. Orson Charles has Started 1 game.

Excuse me.

Who in the hell is in charge of player personnel decisions for this “coaching staff” ?

We have thrown 2 footballs to Washaun Ealey all season long. 2.

I am sorry. I just am not impressed with this “coaching staff.”

I never saw a “coaching staff” who did not know who their Starters are, let alone the positions they just don’t have any players for that they needed to go recruit for a hole on the their team, until this staff got here 20 December 2000.

I also never saw a “coaching staff” who had so many of their recruits arrested and suspended.

In addition, I never saw a “coaching staff” who was 17-20 against Final AP Poll Top 25 teams with 7 Losses to teams who ended up the season not in the AP Poll Top 25, who found so many “fans” of a football “program” therefore 17-27 against Final AP Poll Top 25 teams in 9 years who said that that “coaching staff” was great.

Just having a bad year.

2001, this team did not deserve to be ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25.

2006, this team did not deserve to be ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25.

2008, this team did not deserve to be ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25.

2009, this team did not deserve to be ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25.

2010, this team will not be ranked in the Final AP Poll Top 25, either.

HALF the time.

5 of the 10 years.

And, we have “fans” coming in here telling me we have been great, just had a bad year.

B.S. We have been NOT great.

We have an inept out-of-date offense scheme.

We have an inept out-of-date defense scheme.

We have an inept out-of-date special teams scheme.

We lose more games against Final AP Poll teams than we beat, and we lose almost once a year against a team NOT in the Final AP Poll Top 25.

And, worst of all, we are inept at evaluating talent.

If you have never coached in the NFL, and none of our “coaching staff” of college roommates of buddies of Coach Richt has ever, then you don’t even know who to call to find out what a proper kickoff coverage or punt coverage, or offensive game plan, or defensive strategy is.

And, you sure as hell cannot say to the kids, look, do like this and don’t do like this, and you can make it in the NFL because I know, I was in the NFL. You have what it takes. Instead, we even have in addition to all of that, guys out of position who know nothing about their duties they are in charge of on this “coaching staff” of nobodies, and ninnies.

I don’t know why you would risk hurting someone’s career to “salvage” a 7-5 season. Especially Rambo – he took a serious blow to the head. It’s disgraceful Richt is “hopeful” he’ll play. Instead, he should be “reticent” because a concussion to a student-athlete is a very serious thing. I’m hopeful Richt will make the right decision because of Rambo’s medical evaluation and future, not just to win a game.

Even in losing seasons- there was effort and improvemnet. You “might” have a 6-6 record but you by far are LOSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How Bad Can it Get? GT will gain 500 yards and score 49 points against Willie’s D. I’m sick of it all. Everybody’s hollering about “fair weather fans”. To have support and respect, you need to earn it … it should never be automatic. That’s what has happened to GA and CMR.
There are no pressures to give back to the loyal fans. We’ve seen it the last two years. Loyalty and friendship are more important to CMR than the hard nose in your face coaching that keeps penalities, mental errors, turnovers and poor play from happening.
CMR is proud of his demeanor on the field. I’m sick of it. He’s one of the nicest guys in the land but I’m beginning to really question his passion, intensity and will to win. GT will have a field day Saturday and CMR will say we went all out and gave it our best shop … those boys from Atlanta had a great game. We were in it for the first series and it went downhill from there. We only had 99 yards in penalities and only four turnovers. What an improvement. Willie’s D did stop them one time in the second period on 3rd and 43.
If Georgia don’t clean house (Willie, Bobo, Fabris and Janek) I’m not going to be on any bandwagon. It’s time for CMR to put up or shut up.

Freshmen mistake, Ealey should have enough reps running that play or due to the fact Richt or Bobo can’t make up their mind on one RB does Ealey get the proper amount of reps in games or practice?????????????????????

Glad I left. Calvin Johnson is my man. If I had him to throw to at UGA I would be an even bigger stud. Hate to say it fellas, but you guys are toast this weekend. Go Jackets.

PS I make my money with Calvin now. Also heard Knowshon is stinking up the place at Denver and might come back for his last year of eligibility. Tried to make GT but couldn’t. Not better than Dwyer and too dumb!

I guess I just don’t understand other UGA fans. There are so many people calling for Willie to be fired (which I totally understand). What I don’t get is why we aren’t universally calling for Bobo to be fired also. I think he’s clearly the worse coordinator–so much talent yet such bad playcalling. Just in the KY game, we saw (1) Orson disappear (2) a draw on 3rd and long (3) a pitch at the goal line (4) a struggling 5th year QB (5) an experienced, underperforming line. . .need I say more? Willie’s results are bad in terms of points, but we as fans don’t really know what’s going on. We as fans can clearly see, though, that Bobo’s playcalling is just horrible. BOBO NEEDS TO GO NOW.

I’m a lifetime Tech fan.
I want to send my sympathies to all UGA fans for your loss of UGA VII.
I watched your game against Kentucky. When they showed UGA’s doghouse with the flowers on top and he not being there, it was a sad thing to watch.
I know UGA 8 will have a good career at UGA.
Now…….back to the rivalry……GO JACKETS !
