[...] We have a Top 6 Ranking in Recruiting EVERY YEAR by EVERY RANKING found because the Sovereign State of Georgia has the 4th MOST PLAYERS IN THE NFL who played high school football right here, but frankly this “coaching staff” is as …. North Texas , Chattanooga, Charleston Southern, Troy and both have FIU. Oh, but these are the number 1 and 2 teams in the country and I am suppose to believe SEC dominates. For God’s sake they do not even play each other in regular season. …This Blog [...]

The problem is the old softie, Richt. Dawgs will never win a championship with the wimpy coaches that they have and have had in the last 20 years. No fire, no guts, no desire.

And you need to get the administration, Adams and such, out of the athletic department.

BuLLDawg, great analysis of situation whether all facts are right on or not. Richt is finished. The Florida game all but locked it. The Georgia crowd did not show up. The Georgia side was only a little better than half Georgia and no way to know how many of the Georgia tickets were resales. When the solid fans don't show up it spells doom for the coach. It looks to be that Richt doesn't care. They make no adjustments or changes. There seems to be no freash game plan since we opened the season. I know of no other job (except CEO's) that gets paid hugh sums to be fired. I think that's what he's waiting for. Let's not keep him waiting.

GABoy1980, Apparently you are the leading authority on who is and is not a True UGA fan. You have obviously missed the boat. It's definitely not about me and only an 'ID 10 T' key would move to such a position. I am hoping you are not stuck back in 1980, GaBoy.

Hey Todd - Dacula,
   I really tried to ignore your comments, but it just wasn't happening. YOU REALLY DON'T GET IT, DO YOU? Let me explain:

   First - The fact you lived 26 years in Ft. Lauderdale, FL means you were surrounded by Yankees, a few midwesterners and a healthy / varied population of Latin Americans - For the most part, none of these particulars groups give a particular hoot about college sports, but more specifically college football. So don't judge the behavior of those fans against those of UGA or just about any other SEC program.
   Second - Due to your time living in FL, it very obvious, YOU ARE A FLORIDIOT! It's ok, you just need to accept it, and understand that anything you say won't make sense to anyone other than another FLORIDIOT!. Trust me on this point, I lived in Naples, FL for a year, and being surrounded by FLORIDIOTS will cause any true, rational, sane Southerner to lose their mind. After a year, I got the hell outta that state, and now can only take it in small doses and will NEVER live their again willingly.
   Third - Welcome to the Real South, where College Football is a R-E-L-I-G-I-O-N!!!! Yes, you read that correctly, our sabbath is Saturday, where if you can't attend the service (GAME) in person, you watch on TV or listen on the Radio. Furthermore, your tithe is paid through the merchandise you purchase. We the congregation (FANS) will loyaly follow the Reverend (Head Coach), his ministers (Coordinators, coaches, etc...), and the missionaries (The Football Team) he sends out to spread the good word (azzkickings and a winning record), except where the Rev. and Ministers fail to provide the missionaries with message that the congregation truly believes in (ie., poor defense, no discipline, turnovers, multiple losses to conference rivals, etc). We as the congregation will not stand for the spreading of a false message, and will dutifully look for a new Rev. and Ministers if they fail us, and recruit new missionaries if the situation so calls for.
    {{Have I run this analogy into ground sufficiently so that you understand what it means to be a TRUE UGA FAN, yet????}}

Final Notes - While CWM might not be on the field playing, he is responsible for playing those players that can execute the correct coverages successfully, teaching the defense HOW TO TACKLE and RUSH THE PASSER, and generally conduct themselves as excellent sportsmen. He has failed on these points and more, time to find another position or a different line of work.
As for W-L records and NC talk, I understand those things are not guarantees of anything, but no matter what, this team should be a yearly contender for the NC and produce consistent Winning records, and at a minimum be in the hunt for the SEC championship. They has failed on all three fronts. PERIOD.
