Classic Cars ‘Cruizin’ to Panama City Beach Nov. 8-10

Hundreds of classic cars will be on display at the Cruizin in Panama City Beach.

When I was a teenager, one of the most memorable road trips I ever took was to Panama City Beach. The water there was spectacular and its 27 miles of sugar sands were unlike anything on earth. Completely and utterly beautiful, it's brought me back time and time again.

Now it gets even better.

The Eighth Annual Emerald Coast Cruizin rolls into Panama City Beach Nov. 8-10 to show off thousands of classic cars, hot rods, custom cars and trucks at the Grand Panama Beach Resort (12000 Front Beach Blvd., near Shipwreck Island Waterpark).

There’ll be more than 125 top-name automotive vendors, a giant swap meet, a car corral, special shows and live bands.

Do you own a hot rod? A classic car? Then bring it in and add it to the collection of eye candy. Between the beach and the classic cars, I can’t even imagine the scope of photo ops you’ll find.

Cool cars are only part of it. There’ll be crafts and jewelry, parades, fun rides and games as well. Admission is only $10 daily, $20 for a three-day pass, kids 12 and under are free. All the information is at www.emeraldcoastcruizin.com or at (662) 587-9572.
