Photo: Downtown Cedar Key

A decaying building, widely known as "Honeymoon Cottage," stands alone in the shallows in Cedar Key. The structure was built at the end of a long boardwalk in 1959, and was severely damaged by hurricane Elena in 1985. Aquaculture (farm raised clams) and tourism are two large industries in Cedar Key.
