Fall Events In South Walton For All Ages

The beautiful town of Seaside is hosting a Back to Nature Family Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 13th. It’s the ideal time to take in the natural surroundings of this area, including state parks, coastal forests, rare coastal dune lakes and more.

  • Did you know that only a few places in the world have coastal dune lakes? Australia, Madagascar, New Zealand and Florida! That alone is reason to come explore. Take time to watch this video: coastal dune lakes

Another outdoor family friendly event is the Flutterby Arts Festival in nearby Rosemary Beach, Nov. 10 and 11, 2012. It’s two days of arts and entertainment for kids of all ages. It’s also friendly on your wallet as you can attend free dance performances and enjoy storytelling, arts & crafts, a butterfly exhibit, live music, games and other great family activities.

Want more? Parents will love the Taste of the Beach -  a series of wine and culinary events you can savor over the course of three delicious days, November 2-4.
