Peter sounds like a pretty regular guy who grew up in a nice family and pays his taxes one moment, then acts like a flaming non-thinking liberal the next. What do the Peters of America want? Personally, I want to reinstate the draft. That way the Peters of America would get a taste of what it takes to secure their families' futures, learn something about how the big bad world operates, and start thinking for real about what kind of leadership is best suited for our nation. I want more leadership that has served America militarily. They have the keener insight and the clearer foresight. No way to get around it. America has offended its enemies and its detractors with its warlike stance under the former administration. But it's like the general said, "A strong offense is the best defense." This is not the time for a leader who apologizes for our offenses, but for leadership that will take the offensive and turn the screws on America's enemies. Look what Israel has to put up with, for example: not only the enemy, but American liberals who criticize everything they do to stay on the map. Peace, Peters of America, has a huge price. It comes by defeating the enemy then dictating terms of surrender. Not through negotiation and appeasement. Look at Germany and Japan. As docile as house cats today. Look what it cost us in American lives to transform their behavior and attitudes. America would be a lesser country if Obama were president in that day with the Peters of America to support him. I'm relieved to see that Obama's sheen is starting to wear off. I feel more confident in saying that he'll be another one-term president. Then, come next election, we can try to get it right again with or without the Peters of America.

Barack Hussein Obama has started to form his one "Million Man Army" whose soldiers pledge their loyalty to Obama and will be under Obama's total control. Barack Obama boasts that this personal million man army will be as powerful as our US military forces. This is exactly what Adolf Hitler did by forming his Brown Shirts and his Youth Korps. This personal army of Obama's will be used to indoctrinate our young and to intimidate the masses. Below is a site with two YouTube videos inserted in an article about Obama's Million Man Army. The first video is of Obama calling for his million man army. The second video is the first of Obama's personal foot soldiers with many more to come.

Hey Retired Soldier.....

I thank you for admitting the soldiers went into a made up WAR with out proper training, as my retired Major friend told me.....so we all agree !

I have a problem with you saying folks don't want to help themselves. There are allot of folks who have not gotten the breaks in life that I have or you have. I had two parents that cared, showed love, and taught right from wrong.

When I screw up, I have to look in the mirror and find the person who is at fault. I then have to deal with the mess I made, and learn to live with it, and correct the problems.

For you to say we are just giving stuff away to the less fotunate, well that is not so big of an issue to me, I have empathy. I wonder why the Bush administration cut off funding to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and to the after school programs for city kids.

I believe that was a very bad idea.........young kids in the inner city need help and guidance period !

Also the lie of No kid left behind was just that.....Military spending went up tremendously, while education spending has not come close to going up in the same fashion. Education has been failing in this country for a long time, and it is even worse down here in the south.

But reading what you write, it has me thinking you are OK with the millions given to defense contractors via cost Plus contracts, and no bid contracts.

As I see it that was part of the Made up WAR.......Cheney creating contracts in his office for Halliburton and the rest to sign, thus BILKING AMERICA !

The Most difficult thing I have ever done is run my own business for 23 years now, and keeping it afloat in the good times, and the bad.

I have zero idea about what you did in the military, so I have no say as to what you did, or didn't do, or your your credentials period. I have no doubt you were an excellent soldier, why would I think other wise ?

I do love my country that has given me the opportunity to be my own boss.....so I stay in the loop, watch what is happening, and CERTAINLY do NOT drink the Kool-Aid from the Right who cares little about American's in general, and are sick with Greed and Power !

The problem as I see it you care more about a few, that the whole.......You make assumptions about people in general, thus you show why in general the Right is very prejudice, and all about ME !

Gandhi freed his people, and he never fired a shot.....I do understand having a strong military is NOT an option.......but to use it for the benefit of a few, well that is where we disagree !

Peter-

There you go again. First, the reserves where trained, to the level of active duty, maybe not. That is not what is expected of them. Are you prepared to pay for a vastly expanded active duty force? Didn't think so, you would rather spend it on social programs for those who are unwilling to help themself. After we must ensure equal outcomes for everyone, not equal opportunity for everyone.

I'll be happy to share with you my credentials for military operations at the tactical and operational level of war if you will share yours with me. You have a hell of a nerve to be critical of my handling of soldiers and their care and welfare. The most difficult thing you have ever done is push yourself off a couch and away from the TV. Take my suggestion and do something for your country you love to hate so much.

I do appreciate you seeing the humor in this conversation. If soldiers lives weren't such serious business it would be funny. Sadly you drink the liberal koolaide and look at what you have become, Sad, angry and hatefilled. I feel sorry for you Peter.

HA HA HA....... Funny Stuff......RetiredSoldier

"No I don’t think we went into Iraq the second time to free a country, but that was an added benefit. I guess if every major country in the world thinks the same thing, Iraq had WMD’s, just like the U.S. intel community believed, then only we had faulty intel. Get a grip."

You mean believe a LIE !

HA HA HA............ "Any soldier that has a problem with the Guard and Reserves going to war when the nation needs them doesn’t make sense. That is their primary purpose."

OK..... train them first and of course armor them correctly........Which of course we never did !

Gotta Love this statement......... "The Hum-V was never designed to do what we were using it for and and of course there were problems, that is called the “fog of war”."

Yep send them in and not give a crap for their safety !

You really are not caring about individuals as a rule are you ! Screw them, they joined, who cares if they get massacred...... You are a funny guy !

So the bedwetting libs are upset at Rep. Wilson. Listen to all the Idiocrat libs in the DNC main stream media boo and his Bush in the 2005 State Of The Union speech:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2009/09/10/flashback_democrats_boo_bush_at_2005_state_of_the_union.html

Hell every Republican should have stood up and applauded.

By the way, when is TOTUS going to actually give a SPEECH instead of all this campaign-esque crap he's been dishing out since January 21? How long are these people going to continue whining about Bush/Cheney/Palin/Rush?

That Stimulus Bill had to be rushed through to prevent jobs from being lost and to stop unemployment from rising. Since that passage, unemployment is teetering on 10%, well over the 8% the Bidencrats said it would stop. Since that passage, over 9,000,000 jobs have been LOST - note TOTUS's comment that 700,000 jobs were "saved" last night - and they can never back that comment up with facts.

Now the Idiocrats are saying the "miscalclulated." Do you want these incompetents running health care? How'd you like it if they "miscalculated" the amount you'd have to pay - or if your care had to be rationed because of a "miscalculation?" By the way, what's the Idiocrat stance on single payer option this week? I haven't heard the latest flip flop.

And now these bedwetters are looking into forcing people to pay fines for not having health care coverage. What, are they going to throw you in JAIL or something if you don't pay? Is this the kind of nation you want to live in?

"WASHINGTON - Americans would be fined up to $3,800 for failing to buy health insurance under a plan that circulated in Congress on Tuesday as divisions among Democrats undercut President Barack Obama's effort to regain traction on his health care overhaul."

Finally, how come the liberal Idiocrats are bragging that they can pay for everything by cutting spending? Why not do that from the BEGINNING??? And if I hear one more "95%" number from the Idiocrat Party, I'm going to scream.

Peter-
Four trillion? Never heard that number before. Show me one fact how Bush has gained finanically from the Iraq war. Any soldier that has a problem with the Guard and Reserves going to war when the nation needs them doesn't make sense. That is their primary purpose.

Every war America has ever fought is a "come as you are" war. We fielded the most advanced military fighting force the world has ever seen and our leadership has failed us somehow? Come on that is silly. The Hum-V was never designed to do what we were using it for and and of course there were problems, that is called the "fog of war". In the first Gulf War my Mech Inf Bde was the only one there that still had the Vietnam era M113 PC. The rest had new Bradley's. We didn't whine about it, we just kicked the crap out of them with what we had.

Speaking of knowing history, do you know how Iraq was formed? By the Brits when they ruled the middle east. It incorporated areas that were obviously in historical conflict with each other.

No I don't think we went into Iraq the second time to free a country, but that was an added benefit. I guess if every major country in the world thinks the same thing, Iraq had WMD's, just like the U.S. intel community believed, then only we had faulty intel. Get a grip.

Don't know your age, but if you are under 40 I suggest you enlist in the Army. You need some serious physical activity to get all the anger out of your system.

Four trillion? Never heard that number before. Show me one fact how Bush has gained finanically from the Iraq war. Any soldier that has a problem with the Guard and Reserves going to war when the nation needs them doesn’t make sense. That is their primary purpose.

Every war America has ever fought is a “come as you are” war. We fielded the most advanced military fighting force the world has ever seen and our leadership has failed us somehow? Come on that is silly. The Hum-V was never designed to do what we were using it for and and of course there were problems, that is called the “fog of war”. In the first Gulf War my Mech Inf Bde was the only one there that still had the Vietnam era M113 PC. The rest had new Bradley’s. We didn’t whine about it, we just kicked the crap out of them with what we had.
