It doesn’t take a statistician to know that moderates and independents help Obama win, along with Republicans who just refused to vote for McCain. What we are witnessing is voter hangover – the euphoria is long over now. Reality is starting to set in: broken campaign promises, a failing war in Afghanistan, spending billions to take over corporations under the guise of bailing them out, a trillion dollar stimulus bill that was supposed to immediately reverse job loss, a rejecting by the majority of Americans on Obamacare (and calling them brown shirts and nazis by the leftwingnuts), establishing his pals as “czars” to control corporations, continuing Bush’s “illegal” wiretapping as it was called during the Bush years, attempting to set government control over the internet under the guise of a “national emergency” which can be defined as anything they wish – like voters rejecting Obamacare you can bet on it, and on and on and on it goes.

These leftwingnut liberals running Washington think they were put in power by a nation that shifted liberal left. They feel that they can do anything because their liberal wingnut ideas are what Americans voted for. Of course nothing could be further from the truth. What we are witnessing after the ticker tape and balloons have long disappeared, after the empty champagne bottles of celebration have long since been recycled – more likely just tossed in the trash for a landfill by those liberal hypocrites, long after the main stream media’s love affair over Obama from all but the most dedicated liberal wingnut media outlets like the NYT, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and NBC has extinguished, is that the honeymoon of those who voted for “change” is over and they are rejecting a hard shift left by the administration. Let’s also not forget of course things that keep being ignored by the said above media outlets over so many Democrats like Charlie Rangel failing to pay their taxes – yet those people have no problems raising *ours*. They are bringing this all on themselves and unlike what they and their lapdog media outlets are doing now as a smoke screen – blaming Bushie & Cheney – it’s just not going to work long term. Congress has been run by Democrats for two and a half years now, and for seven months been running the Executive Branch (that’s the White House for you Obama voters). The honeymoon is over leftwingnuts – shape up to what the majority wants or be shipped out in 2010 and 2012.
