This is a big thing he did. Things that happen at war can be ugly memories. You begin to hate not just the enemy but anyone that looks like them. I’m glad that he was able to do this. He’s had a troubled life. Good to see him get to this place. What happened was awful. Maybe some healing is going on now.

I have a friend name Marcy Wooten, shes now 38 yrs.old. She had a mother and a younger sister who was killed when she Marcy was in 6th or 7th grade in Texas, Marcy was in school at the time a man came into there home, the man shot her mom and sister, and robbed the home after he killed them. Then he killed a police officer, that was chasing him, he went to prison but was only charged killing the policeman. He got the injection, but he should of never been released from out of state for the same thing. I hope and pray this will never happen again. This happen in the year of the 1970’s mids. There is a documentuary of this story on A&E. Please vote to keep people locked up for ever for this kind of crime. Thank You for your support in this type of crime.

The problems with any and all so-called apologies that state, “I feel sorry for WHAT HAPPENED” are twofold: 1) they are stated in the passive voice, meaning that, 2) there were no human actors involved, as in, for example, spontaneous combustion. Sunrises and sunsets HAPPEN; that, is, no humans cause or prevent them. In contrast to such phenomena, murders — whether or not they occurred in wartime –have actual persons who pulled triggers, used bayonets, tossed grenades, etc. How about: “I am sorry for what I, and those under my command DID?”

Jobs lost overseas are a result of the US tax structure and the oppressive rates imposed upon business. The Tax Code levies tax at the 2nd highest rate of the industrialized nations and the Code is the darling of the Left. Blaming anyone other than the Congress displays a lack of knowledge of the issue.

Eliminate the corporate income tax and watch the jobs return, OR, raise taxes on the businesses and the successful and watch more jobs leave. Fairly simple to understand, even for a liberal.

The President only signs the bills presented by the Congress. The President can offer ideas and policy requests but the responsibility for spending and War lies with the Congress. Watching Obama waffle with the polls is fairly amusing. Not “Healthcare Reform” now but “Health Insurance Reform” is a classic example of simply giving his sheep a reason to follow Obama over the cliff. Obama must realize his followers are unintelligent.

All you pointing the blame at the last administration for the Iraq War should review the comments from the Dems (Kerry, H. Clinton, Kennedy, Frank, etc. etc) during the Clinton administration. Each and everyone is on record warning of Hussein and the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The tune only changed because Clinton lacked the cahones to act.

POSITIVE change will only occur when ALL the Members of the current Congress are sent home and a new Congress is seated.

Calley was hired by you American taxpayers, or your parents if you are to young, to go to SE Asia as your representatives to kill those he were told were the enemy. He did what you hired him to do.
