If each American was giving $500,000 that would have stimulate the economy. They would have bought cars, homes or be able to pay the mortage. Instead it was giving to banks and dealership that gave themselves big bonus and it has not help them and they still folded. The money giving to the people would be much less than the trillion that we owe now and growing.

Now Ga. will get $9.1 million to build more affordable homes. This is crazy. We have new homes and foreclosers sitting empty. Put the low income in those instead. Use that $ to hire back our police, firefighters and pay the teachers. We need good teachers to educate our kids. And if you keep taking more of the pay away they will give it up.

Also raise taxes 1 or 2 cents to help cover cost, and everyone is paying and stop raising taxes on the homeowners. TX. you pay 10% Tenn. 12% and we only pay 5 or 6%

The $ we spend on lawyers for the fight oveer water, we could have a resovoir built, come on Sonny think about it. And this should have been done 20 yrs. ago and they kept putting it off.

Jesus lived about 2000 years ago. one trillion dollars/ (years * days/year) = dollars/day

OR

1,000,000,000,000 (trillion dollars) / (2000 * 365) = 1,369,863 1.4 MILLION dollars/day not billion.
I understand the mix-up though. It's republican math.

Nice fake reporting guys. I am often taken back about how often the Daily Show represents the facts better than Fox News and other conservative "news" outlets.

http://mediamatters.org/research/200907220032 has the real story.

Romney is a corpse--can't wait to decimate him. The circus where Romney, Huckaby and the rest drag Palin around like a squirrel caught under an 18 wheeler is going to be a lot of fun.

The party of hate, racial bigotry, no ideas whatsoever will be crushed even worse in 2010 and 2012.

And the stock market has been doing what publitards?

Obama's polling numbers are enough to crush the Publitards in any election into oblivion where they reside now.

The Republiduhs' Health Plan is officially No Health Plan. They offer the most consistently stupid platform in their history. The Rush/Newt/Cheney health plan is we hate people of color--we're white crackers. The pubitards' strategy is to stand on the sidelines with their arms folded and their heads in their butts.

Time to Ram it Through and we will.

So, after that less-than-stellar press conference last night, it appears the president feels the need to go run off and set up another town hall meeting. Someone needs to tell PrezBO that running around the nation giving rah-rah "Town Hall" meetings is not what the presidency is about and will not get his polling numbers back up other than the Obamabots continuing to blindly support him. He needs to park himself in DC where people voted to put him and start figuring out how to run a nation. He's not campaigning anymore.

"WASHINGTON - At a critical moment in his presidency, Barack Obama finds increasing need to talk about taming federal deficits as he struggles with a dour economy. It's not just that Republicans are keeping up a relentless and punishing attack on his health care overhaul and other spending priorities. It's also that Americans are losing confidence in Obama's ability to lead an economic recovery. Increasingly, they are worried about their jobs and the impact of the nation's mushrooming debt on future generations."

Oh you mean those jobs that were supposed to be IMMEDIATELY saved and created after our money was taken and given to special interests for each libDimwitocrat that voted for it?
