I would like to say that Mr Cathy is a true Christian and down right fine soul. I have had the pleasure of meeting him at the hospital I work at and have always found him completely sincere in his priciples. Although I consider myself an Atheist, I respect anyone who lives by his code and does not blow his own horn all day long.

Sorry, here is the rest of the story….I do not know where the HOPE grads you are degrading come from, but I know my HOPE students are very deserving of every dime the Lottery has provided. If you are able to graduate early and be first in your major from Ga Tech you can not be stupid. I attended the banquet for grads and parents at TECH and was delighted to see that a handful of grads who were first in their class were from my public school in Gwinnett. The SAT is a National test that can not be “grade inflated” and our school had a number of perfect scores. So go ahead and knock yourselves out with trying to find fault with HOPE. I for one am thankful for every penny we have received and GT does not inflate anyones grade, so if you can obtain Dean’s list there you HAVE learned in high school.

Congratulations Dusty on your graduate. We may be on different sides of the fence but I applaud intelligence any day of the week. Mine will be joining yours in a few years, Environmental Geochemistry.
