Palin sister-in-law accused of breaking into home

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Police say Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s sister-in-law is accused of breaking into the same home twice to steal money.

Deputy Wasilla Police Chief Greg Wood says 35-year-old Diana Palin was arrested Thursday after she was confronted by the homeowner in the governor’s hometown of Wasilla. She faces two counts of felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and theft.

Wood says tire tracks and shoe prints tied Palin to another break-in Tuesday in which $400 was taken. Police have not tied Palin to another burglary at the home last week.

Governor spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton says Palin is the half sister of the governor’s husband and the family has no comment.

Diana Palin’s husband says his wife has a court-appointed attorney.

Miller Time prevents any further comments. Unless you want to talk off the record. Off the record? Okay, Obama is scaring me. (slurp, guzzle, spill). The markets are responding not just in this technical rebound, but in a sense of climbing a wall of worry. (swig, slurp guzzle). If it seems that all we have to do is wait six months and we’ll get growth, then this rally will sustain itself. (burb). But if this rally is predicated on sound judgment that the Obama Fix will work, then this rally is supreme folly. Even if the credit markets stabilize, the credit-worthy don’t need to borrow, not like the rabble did for the past five years. (guzzle-swig). All this growth was theoretical even in the heyday of these derivatives. The problem with having Obama in our Oz is that the wizard was a con man with a crystal ball in real life. (Hic)

Anyway, we may go into a long hot summer with no growth and the market will test the lows again and Obama may emerge in the fall a lame duck. Something wicked this way comes. (thank cheney)
