We need a special prosecuter to investigate what the Obama administration knew and when it knew it. Obama, Geithner, and Dodd are all lying. Maybe we can have a truth commission. I want emails and phone records.

Kim, have you ever noticed that when some really dastardly corruption is revealed that Jamie Gorelick is smack in the middle of it. The Feds ought to just start following this broad around. Anyway, Chris Dodd is a scumbag and should be ashamed of himself. That goes for any other member of the US Senate or House that voted for that stupid bailout bill without reading it. Chris Dodd admits he did not read the Amendment to the Stimulus Bill that he put in that allowed these Rentention bonuses for AIG. Sen. Dodd then goes on tv and blames the US dpt. of Treasury, and specifically Turbo Tax Tim Geithner, who Obama touted as a modern day Alexander Hamilton this morning before leaving for the People's Republic of California. Then Obama gets to California and feins some sort of outrage, because he did not write the AIG contracts. Hooey. Obama and Turbo Tax Tim did not have to insist that Sen. Dodd put the provision in the stinking Porkulus Bill in the first place. The President is not being transparent he is not being very Changey or Hopeful for that matter.

@greenik,

Obama PROPOSED the veterans payment legislation and after consultation with veterans groups and the Pentagon, he withdrew the proposal.

You are making all that noise and I bet you have never had the uniform on your back?

Donchoo EVAH speak Ill of St. Anthony's, San Francisco, or I swear to God I shall track you down and restore to you, whether you like it or not, all those things you've once loved, and ultimately lost.

That's St. Anthony's. And that is St. Anthony, in a nutshell.

Hey folks, let's not forget about Friends of the Dems Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines, who left Fannie Mae in disgrace with a hefty $90 million in his pocket and Jamie Garelick, who was on the 911 commission who left Fannie Mae with between $10 and 20 million after a relatively brief stint there. They were running that company into the ground with the blessings of Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. I guess we won't hear much outrage about those people making too much money while messing up a company, will we? Frank & Dodd should be tossed out of office on their ( fill in the blank). Hmm... Dodd IS up for re-election.. I can only hope he is tossed out. I'll go get my checkbook and write out a contribution to the person who ends up as his opponent.

More disgusting things from the Dhimmicrat Washington we now have; and this makes me SICK:

March 17, 2009 by: mpinkeyes

President Obama had a meeting today with the leader of the Department of Veteran Affairs in which he has infuriated the department with his plan to bill an injured veteran’s private health insurance for treatment needed for injuries suffered while serving the country.

  Depending on a veteran’s health coverage there could be deductibles and maximum insurance coverage limits not to mention the additional premiums that the insurance companies are likely to charge. All of these charges will fall on the veterans themselves or their families.

  Obama states that this plan will save the government $540 million. Saving $540 million by refusing to treat injured veterans after the government just passed out $1 trillion to stimulate the economy is a pittance.

  This is the most disgraceful thing that I have heard this president consider yet, it doesn’t get any more pathetic than this. This is how we treat the men and women who volunteered to serve our country? This is how we pay them back?

  We send these brave heroes all over the world to protect and defend this country’s national interests and when they get hurt in the line of duty the least that America can do for them is to make sure they get the care that they need.

    “This reimbursement plan would be inconsistent with the mandate ‘ to care for him who shall have borne the battle’ given that the United States government sent members of the armed forces into harm’s way, and not private insurance companies. I say again that The American Legion does not and will not support any plan that seeks to bill a veteran for treatment of a service connected disability at the very agency that was created to treat the unique need of America’s veterans!”

  President Obama after passing out money to organizations like ACORN, and to illegal aliens with his stimulus plan is trying to skimp out on the people who deserve his support the most and it is reprehensible.

  Seeing where Obama decided to spend trillions and where he has decided to skimp out tells us quite a bit about this man. President Obama should be ashamed of himself.
