Troubled rapper T.I. is in more trouble. This time the charge is something like Romance in the First Degree.

Imprisoned in Arkansas after being busted with drugs in Hollywood while on parole for a weapons charge, the artist known in legal circles as Clifford Harris received a visit from his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.

That wasn’t the problem. The visit went well. Maybe a little too well.

T.I. and Tiny apparently got carried away -“frisky” is the word TMZ used while All Hip Hop reports it was a “sexual act” that got the two busted – and now T.I. is in a more secure holding area, with less freedom.

Meanwhile on Thursday afternoon, TMZ reported that the drug case against Tiny has been dismissed.

“The L.A. County District Attorney’s office tells TMZ the case was dropped because Tiny completed 24 sessions of a certified drug diversion program in Georgia,” the site said.

Well it hasn’t been a great month for Clifford Harris, better known as T.I.

He’s heading back to prison for 11 months, following a drug arrest while on probation for a weapons charge.

And the AXE deodorant company parted ways with him.

But, seems the actor and rapper, who was credited with talking a distressed young man off a roof the other day, is determined to make the best of things with the free time he has left.

We hear he and new wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle had dinner at Room Wednesday night. They just sat at the bar and ate steaks. Afterward they headed over to Parrish and helped Rick Ross out with a video shoot for “Pledge Allegiance to the Swag,” wrapping up around 2:30 a.m.

Afterward, Mr. and Mrs. Harris went to Tongue and Groove for a while.

After Nov. 1, of course, his whereabouts will be slightly less exciting.

Rapper-actor T.I. has been ordered to appear before a judge following his arrest on drug charges while on probation on a federal weapons charge, but it looks like he has not lost his sense of humor.

A tipster spotted the entertainer, also known as Clifford Harris Jr., and his new wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle at the Uptown Comedy Corner Tuesday night. They caught comedian D. L. Hughley’s 10 p.m. show.

Hughley apparently spotted his famous audience members quickly and cracked a few jokes about T.I.’s legal woes. Ouch!

But T.I. apparently took the ribbing in stride since he and Tiny stuck around for the entire show.

Afterward they chatted with a few fans before taking off, our source says.

The U.S. Attorney handling T.I.’s case isn’t amused, though. A date has not been set for his appearance before the court but it doesn’t seem like it will be any sort of laughing matter.

Following his latest brush with the law, T.I.’s lawyers said he would be coming back to Atlanta to deal with the legal implications of another arrest.

A video on the hiphopblog.com website seems to indicate that the rapper is indeed back home. This clip posted on the website is billed as “T.I. performs at club in Atlanta after his arrest in L.A.”

The AJC is trying to learn more about exactly where and when the video was shot. A few readers have responded with tips on the location: either The Velvet Room or Club Ritz. We’ve contacted both establishments to ask.

Authorities say that several pills found on the Grammy award winner and his new wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were a type of ecstasy, a drug used at raves and clubs to enhance sense of self-confidence and energy.

Our colleague, business columnist Henry Unger has spent the afternoon over at former Mayor Andy Young’s house, conducting a wide-ranging interview in Young’s lovely, art-filled home.

At our behest Unger asked the question we are sure you will agree is the most pressing. How did the former ambassador come to officiate the recent wedding between Clifford “T.I.” Harris and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle?

The answer is pretty simple. T.I. called and asked him.

The two have known each other for years, and Young said that young Clifford had the highest I.Q. of any kid in his class back in the day at Frederick Douglass High School. More recently, Young has served as a mentor of sorts, helping the rapper embrace his community service obligations following his arrest on a weapon charge. He was sentenced to a year and a day, with 100 hours of community service as part of the deal. (Here is that story from 2009, if you missed it).

Rumors have been swirling about the upcoming nuptials of Clifford “T.I.” Harris and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and the prevailing chatter indicates the blessed event is imminent.

A number of Web sites including this one, YBF, are reporting that the two will tie the knot this coming weekend in Miami.

In fact, YBF is running a photo of what appears to be the couple’s wedding invitation, tightly cropped to remove details such as the location. The report says the two are in Hawaii right now for a pre-wedding family trip, and will be returning to Atlanta this week before heading down to Miami.

It wouldn’t shock us if they plan some sort of post-wedding, post-honeymoon bash here, perhaps at Opera? Earlier this year, the Midtown hot spot is where they made their first appearance together following T.I.’s stint in prison on a weapons charge.
