Sometimes celebs make things too easy for us. Really. And even though we were hoping this was a “Family Guy” skit waiting to happen, well…

According to Page Six, rapper Lil Wayne is renting a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that the owners are trying to sell. The challenge – the Miami broker has to lead prospective buyers through the overwhelming smell of marijuana and music-video-like settings.

The multi-platinum, Grammy-winning artist, aka Dwayne Michael Carter, also owns a posh multi-million dollar condo in Murano Grande, according to the Miami News blog.

A house hunter told Page Six that in addition to the crushing smell of weed, “two hot, rap-video-looking girls were walking around in nothing but a bra and underwear, blasting hip-hop. We just went in and looked around and tried not to stare.”

Weezy wasn’t there at the time but seemed to be very neat and tidy.

This CD/DVD pulls from the late performer’s 1980 U.S. tour. But the title alone might be worth the buy.

Bill Cosby, “Bill Cosby Presents the Cosnarati: State of Emergency”

It’s being touted as a socially conscious rap album. Knowing Cosby’s history, we’re sure it will ruffle at least a few feathers.

What do “American Idol” alum Adam Lambert, country starlet Taylor Swift and singer/actress J. Lo have in common? They all count as most memorable moments for the 2009 American Music Awards (Red carpet photos • Show photos).

• Let’s start with the final act. The eyeliner wearing, glamtastic Lambert brought the show to a screeching halt. Literally. (Read AJC blogger Rodney Ho’s run-down of “Idol” vets including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Paula Abdul and Ryan Seacrest). His dominatrix-like performance, capped by a dancer’s face getting extra cozy with him – below the belt – lit Twitter up. People were shocked and awed by the audaciously “sexy” moves and some parents were reportedly not thrilled with ABC.

• Swift continues her country music ascension, claiming five awards including Entertainer of the Year. Even though she was in London, she accepted the awards via satellite and just as surprised each and every single time.

Rapper Gucci Mane, known around the Fulton County courthouse as Radric Davis, will be spending some time in the slammer. After pleading guilty to assault in 2005, he was sentenced earlier this month to a year in the clink for a probation violation – failing to fulfill his court-ordered community service. As the AJC reported, he was arrested last week in Atlanta.

In a curious bit of timing his new CD, “The State vs Radric Davis,” comes out Dec. 8. The album, put out byAsylum/Warner Bros. Records, features Keyshia Cole, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Keri Hilson and Usher.

“I have accepted full responsibility for my actions and I am ready to deal with what is in front of me right now,” Mane said in a statement. “Thankfully, my label is still moving forward with my album release so I will have plenty to look forward to when I get out. I am remaining positive and want my fans to know that I am grateful for their loyalty and continued support. I will get through this.”

Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane is in a Fulton County jail for a probation violation. Guess this wasn’t the ’spotlight’ he and Usher are singing about in their new single − or maybe it is. Gucci was expected to drop a new CD Dec. 8.

We were just talking about him last month when he was at the BET Hip-Hop Awards performing a surprising three songs. His track popularity was definitely on the rise.

According to our AJC colleagues, the rapper, who’s real name is Radric Davis, is currently at the Fulton County jail and is due to be released in May 2010, according to jail officials.

It is unclear how Davis violated his probation. It’s also unclear how his legal troubles will affect his album release and future projects.

BTW: For our hip-hop purists, Gucci was reportedly born in Birmingham and moved to Atlanta in the 4th grade. So he is not a “native” Atlantan but he is an Atlantan.

Did the infamous kiss between Toni Braxton and Atlantan Trey Songz break up her marriage?

We all know how celebrity rumor mills churn, especially when they’re trying to tear people down. But after reviewing said kiss a few times … well, we don’t like to judge. We’ll just let you decide for yourself.

Just to catch you up, the singers performed the song “Yesterday” during the opening of the 2009 Soul Train Awards, which were taped Nov. 3 in Atlanta (the show will air on BET at 9 p.m. on Nov. 29). With Braxton’s husband, Keri Lewis formerly of the band Mint Condition, sitting in the audience, the two singers topped the performance off with what looks like a pretty intimate kiss.

Since then, radio DJS, TV hosts and blogs including Essence.com, have speculated that Braxton, in her 40s, and hubby are now separated. Many wonder if it’s linked to the intimate tongue wrestling seen on stage with the 25-year-old.

Janet Jackson has agreed to do a one-hour special with ABC. Robin Roberts will interview the pop star in her California home for the primetime special, scheduled air Nov. 18.

While we don’t know the extent of what will be discussed just yet, we expect Jackson, who is promoting a greatest hits CD for the holiday season, to discuss the aftermath of the death of her brother, Michael Jackson.

She also might touch on her relationship with Atlantan Jermaine Dupri. People reported today that the on-again-off-again couple is definitely on.

While blog rumors continue to swirl about a pending wedding, hopefully Ms. Jackson will give us the real deal we can stop churning the rumor mill.
